Wow this is getting…better and better:

“Donald Trump has signed an executive order that authorises aggressive economic sanctions against the international criminal court (ICC), accusing the body of “illegitimate and baseless actions” targeting the US and Israel.

The order grants the US president broad powers to impose asset freezes and travel bans against ICC staff and their family members if the US determines that they are involved in efforts to investigate or prosecute citizens of the US and certain allies.

The hostile action against the ICC comes in response to the court’s decision in November to issue arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.”

And, who was behind this ?

Bloody South Africa…and Bangladesh, those paragons of tolerance and human rights

On 17 November 2023, the Office of the Prosecutor received a further referral of the Situation in the State of Palestine, from South Africa, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Comoros, and Djibouti, and on 18 January 2024, the Republic of Chile and the United Mexican State additionally submitted a referral to the Prosecutor with respect to the situation in The State of Palestine.

“Situation in the State of Palestine: ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I rejects the State of Israel’s challenges to jurisdiction and issues warrants of arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.

    Warrants of arrest

The Chamber issued warrants of arrest for two individuals, Mr Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr Yoav Gallant, for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024, the day the Prosecution filed the applications for warrants of arrest.”

Just to put in perspective regarding the main country behind the ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu:

    South Africa 2023

Incidents of gender-based violence continued while perpetrators enjoyed impunity. The Department of Basic Education failed in its promise to eradicate pit latrines in schools. Illiteracy rates among Grade 4 pupils rose. There were concerns that the National Health Insurance Bill might have an adverse impact on access to quality healthcare. Access to quality and safe drinking water declined. Refugees and migrants continued to be denied access to primary healthcare. The murder rate remained high. Police continued to use excessive force in response to protests. Threats against human rights defenders, activists and whistle-blowers, and attempts to silence journalists continued. The government made no progress on the decommissioning of coal-fired power stations.

    And, of course, not forgetting:

    Bangladesh 2023

The government intensified its crackdown on the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly ahead of general elections scheduled for January 2024. Authorities used the powers in the Digital Security Act and other legislation to target journalists and human rights defenders, subjecting them to arbitrary detention and torture. There was a concerning increase in enforced disappearances and lack of accountability for deaths in custody. Occupational safety remained a distant dream for many workers. Refugees endured homelessness due to a fire in a camp and a cyclone as well as food insecurity. Rations for refugees were restricted due to the UN’s acute funding shortfall. Bangladesh remained extremely vulnerable to impacts of climate change.

Cosmic rays are a danger to astronauts and space probes, and some researchers say they might affect the cloudiness and climate of Earth. The current sheet acts as a barrier to cosmic rays, deflecting them as they attempt to penetrate the inner solar system. A wavy, crinkly sheet acts as a better shield against these energetic particles from deep space.”

On the face of it the above poster is illegal because it must have the name and address of the printer and publisher (Representation of the Peoples Act Section 110). This is a criminal offence.

It could be that the imprint is on the reverse side, or off the page. However an imprint on the reverse side does not help if the poster is stuck inside a closed shop window (for example).

Labour and the Unions are repeat offenders of this criminal offence. However the 2T authorities blindly look the other way with labour and the unions. Little old ladies campaigning against abortion though is another matter entirely.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq5gpyv4dnwo

“Last year, the government spent £65bn on sickness benefits, external – a 25% increase from the year before the pandemic. That figure is forecast to increase to around £100bn before the next general election.

Kendall was speaking to ITV about a Department of Work and Pensions survey that suggested 200,000 people on benefits were ready to work if they had support.”

The uniparty is taking the piss here.
They now have a punitive welfare system for the real job seeking claiments, where they get little money and maximum stress from the “job” centre.
With each claiment is assigned a job coach who is like a bullying probation officer.
They’re expected to search for jobs for 35 hours a week and provde evidence they’ve done this, and report in person to the job centre regularly, and are sent on endless, useless, full time employability courses.
Young people are particularly targets for this treatment, getting sanctions for not hoop jumping correctly.

So basic benefits and maximum stress.
Then one of them gets a doctor’s note for stress and anxiety, depression, or diagnosed with ADHD autism, a bad back etc or all of those together
Get signed off, switches to sickness benefits, gets a lot more money, zero pressure from jobcentre…

    Now they’re all at it.

Obvious solution pay the real job seekers the most and offer real help.

The government will do nothing, they’ll just talk about it.
You have to assume it’s the way they like it already.

Ed seems to think that when the sun is not shining in the middle of winter (those long nights) and when the wind is not blowing or alternatively is blowing too hard during a gale that solar farms where we no longer grow food to food to feed an ever increasing population and an offshore wind farm the spoils the environment for those holidaying in the UK and contains global warming gases will produce all the energy we need and will free us from the grip of international markets. Poor sap.

Even the Labour-supporting BBC have reported on TWatO his volte faces on the third runway at Heathrow and his non-opposition to new nuclear power stations. If Minibrain continues in office, the lights will go out all over the UK and the energy bill to UK consumers will be colossal.

I find the tactics of The TTK regime weird – to say the least . Surely what they need are ‘quick wins ‘ stuff which will boost spending by individuals now .

But what they are doing is ‘planning ‘ – whether it be airports or nuclear reactors – stuff which will take decades and are based on the assumption that TTK will be in power for ever .

This might lead to the deduction that voting is over – that citizens will have no voice on the government – which isn’t far away from where we are now ….

Yes. I was going to post something about the democratic deficit. Although the Smarmer Government is probably the worst ever a close second would be the previous Tory Government(s). It seems obvious to me that our democratically elected Governments aren’t actually in charge. It’s clear that the intention is to ensure that British people do not control the agenda. China and our Civil Service seem to be calling the shots. The emergence of Covid almost to the day we Brexited seems deeply suspicious to me. The fact that we are sacrificing ourselves to Net Zero while China continues to ramp up CO2 emissions without any protest or intervention seems very strange.

Another strange matter seems to be Smarmer’s attitude to Planning. Whilst failing to recognise that Planning is a legal framework and part of our democratic right to protest he appears to want to sweep it all away. The way he speaks about Planning reveals him to be an extremely authoritarian man. He behaves and sounds like Stalin.

Wind turbines are ageing – what happens next?
With an average lifespan of 25 years, a high proportion of wind turbines across the world are approaching retirement.
      Eve Thomas
      March 18, 2024

The primary material in a wind turbine is steel, which is used for the tower, nacelle and foundation and can comprise anywhere between 66% and 79% of the materials present in the structure.

A typical wind turbine can require anywhere between 200 and 800 liters of oil, depending on its size, with most needing around 700 gallons of lubricant, which is usually a specialized synthetic oil that needs to be replaced every 9 to 16 months; this oil is primarily used to lubricate the gearbox within the turbine.

      https://nypost.com/2025/01/31/opinion/episcopal-bishop-lectures-trump-while-earning-taxpayer-millions-to-bring-migrants-into-us/
Her speech was on Jan 22nd
BTW I found a Guardian article about it. It said it had been changed a few days lter on account of the Guardian being supplied with an incorrect transcript .
      Curious.

I guess omniscience and timing didn’t coincide at the cathedral – I did see JD Vance’s reaction though … he won’t forget that moment. The bishop stoked some enmity there and her antics should be countered – with interest…

The dim cleric probably thought she landed one on DJT et al – I’d say she burned a rickety bridge….

Sort of reminded me of the preposterous harridan Senator Liz Warren.

Can we borrow Russel Vought and set him to work on Whitehall ?

C4 news is pure anti Trump porn now . Bleeding heart liberals moaning about the closure of USAID – cutting funding to the UN – which is apparently funded by the US by 50% . And what does the US get for it ? Zilch …

I wonder if the true president is considering pulling out of the UN ? Does it serve US interests ? Bit like that ‘international law ‘ crap for ever being used against the US ….

Poor C4 – a nervous breakdown on the TV – great fun ..

C4 News are going to pair actual business insolvency with their moral bankruptcy?

Haven’t watched in years and have no intention of doing so after seeing their long slide into 100% agenda driven sneery propaganda.

Seems likely their trough might’ve been replenished by USAID ?

Tomo – im just enjoying their suffering …. They just cannot conceive that so many Americans voted for ‘ America first ‘ … if only it could come here … and if Europe disrespects America – it could give the true president the excuse to reduce NATO – and make the parasitic Europeans pay for their own defence …
