TTK announced the scrapping of NHS England in front of a passive collection of NHS staff or Labour Party supporters. What I think is very suspect is that such an announcement should really have been made in Parliament, surely? Perhaps Speaker Hoyle will take Smarmer to task, or perhaps not.
I was really hoping that someone in the wooden audience would reveal a banner reading: “Don’t Listen to This Wanker!”
It’s going to cost £millions to gt rid of all those staff, it’s a good illustration of how out of control the public sector is. NHS England was probably a good idea but the Empire just expanded and expanded beyond usefulness.

Richard Meddings joined the Board of NHS England as Chair in March 2022.
Meddings was appointed by the then health secretary, Sajid Javid, in January 2022 on a four-year contract and took over his role two months later. Wol Kolade joined us as Deputy Chair of NHS England on 25 March 2022, after serving as a non-executive director on the NHS Improvement board from August 2018 to March 2022.
Wol was formerly is a trustee of Somerset House Trust and a co-founder of the 10,000 Black Interns Initiative. He also sits on the advisory boards of Acorn Capital, Level 20 and the Prudence Trust.

COST OF LIVING/INFLATION UPDATE
I was in a well-known German owned supermarket after some products that I like to consume and after I returned home I checked to see if there had been any price increases. Sure enough there had: 10p on a tin of fish. I worked out that that was an over 5% increase. Rachel from Accounts better pray for a miracle to keep her job. Labour Party when in power always crash the economy, eg. 2007/9, or 1967/70!
Rachel does not have to worry about paying for things….
