“BRACES” nothing like sensational reporting as if to create turmoil.. but tomorrow nothing will come of it, but keeps the lefties in line

More Trump negative reporting. If this would have been Biden, probably wouldn’t of been mentioned, or the best thing since sliced bread

The Great British public flock to their doorsteps to blow a loud collective raspberry at the NHS…

Public satisfaction with NHS hits record low… according to the long-running British Social Attitudes survey. Just 21% said they were satisfied (BBC)

Our BBC explains: Satisfaction rates have dropped sharply since the pandemic – in 2019, 60% were satisfied

Cue your Mr AsI’s little editorial correction: Satisfaction rates have dropped sharply since the pandemic LOCKDOWNS [which were a policy choice]

And there we were back then thinking we’d ‘saved’ the NHS.

Seems even some of our most hallowed and beloved of familiar British institutions have their sell-by date…

WH Smith name to disappear from High Street after sale… it developed a reputation for being run-down and shabby, culminating in a popular social media account WHS_Carpet, which mocked the poor state of its floor coverings. (BBC)

There’s a notion that with the victory of managerialism and corporatisation our popular culture and entertainment has become stuck on repeat – like an old school scratched vinyl record – doomed to replay, reimagine, replicate, reinvent, reprise, sequel, prequel, rerun and redo.

The frontpage of the Guardian this morning celebrates: Fab four… Sam Mendes reveals cast for his Beatles biopics

Mr AsI has often been moved to Shout at the seeming Come Together of Times and Guardian

And so it is this morning as the Times closely duplicates the Gruan’s frontpage feature photo and punning: Get back to back Fab four films… a quartet of Beatles biopics

Why do something completely new and unfamiliar when the industry can bank on the bankable – four times over.

Interestingly, the junior youth-oriented poundshop (WH Smith-busting?) Guardian that is the i paper strikes a note of cynicism: Four overhyped ‘It Boys’ to play the Beatles? Help!

Couldn’t Sam Mendes have cast four black girls (or at least one) in the role of John, Paul, George and Rihanna?

Norwegian Wood… Denmark won’t: Up to Greenland to decide its future, Danish PM tells Trump (BBC)

Here Comes The Sun… and as sure as night follows day: Driest March for more than 60 years in England and Wales (BBC); Sunniest March on record in England (i paper) – I suppose we’ll have to take their word for that. And told to us, mind you, as though it’s a bad thing.

When I saw the story about a Beatles ‘bio pic ‘ I thought it was an April Fool – particularity seeing who had been cast for the ‘fab 4 ‘…..
Perhaps it might have been better to do a sort of yellow submarine film using AI when they are sadly no longer with us ….
Some of those AI videos of Beatles on YouTube are quite a wonder . Notice how I have refrained from using a Beatles Title – i thought I’d let it be.

    Tariffs
Version one – DJT applies tariffs to UK just like any other third world country – TTK expresses regret but it won’t harm the ‘special relationship ‘

Version two DJT singles UK out for no tariffs – a triumph of leadership by TTK showing the ‘strength of the special relationship ‘

PS – subsequently DJ says tariffs were not just imposed because the US is being cheated – but to send a message to the Marxists destroying a close allie …

You have to laugh at some commentators writing their newspaper columns.

Whenever they write about Trump they always start with something like todays Hannan piece in the Daily Mail where he says “Although I despise Trump he’s got this right” or words to that effect.

They can’t just say he’s done good, they have to qualify it by making sure all their woke mates know they hate Trump.

I suppose if they came out and said Trump is excellent they would lose all their lefty virtue signalling kidult crowd they hang about with.

Me, I think Trump is brilliant and would absolutely love it if he were our PM instead of TTK.

Mind, I wonder how we would write about TTK if he ever done something good. Would we say something along the lines of “I can’t stand him but he’s got this right”
I think we’ll never know as he has the knack of always being wrong and his decisions always make things worse.

The prosecution and banning from political activity of Marine Le Pen is provoking the reactions from the various media outlets that you might expect.

GB News thinks it is an outrageous attack on democracy.
The Spectator thinks it a highly divisive move that many will regard as an attack on democracy .
The Telegraph thinks it will provoke a back lash but that the legal case was sound even if the sentence was severe .
The Times thinks that it is important that politicians don’t regard themselves as above the law.

Basically the more Globalist the outlet the more supportive it is of the sentence handed down.

We on this site have for some time been expecting a steady escalation by the Globalists as Nationalist resistance to their undemocratic rule increases. And it is happening everywhere, USA, Romania, Germany ( with threats to ban the AfD) , Ireland, France , Spain and of course here in the UK as Tories and Labour connive to ban elections.
The big question is how far will they go to maintain their rule? We are already seeing banning of political opposition , censorship, propaganda . How far away is state sponsored violence against protesters?
Can democracy actually remove a ruling elite which holds all the power and which creates , interprets and implements the law to suit its own ends?

BBC old hand showing the mind set of posh bbc types wanting illegals to stay in third world Britain

STARTS A former senior BBC correspondent helped a Pakistani asylum seeker avoid deportation by supporting his human rights claim.

Dr Owen Bennett-Jones – a former Islamabad bureau chief for the BBC – backed the man’s claim that he faced being arrested by security services and imprisoned if he were deported back to Pakistan.

Dr Bennett-Jones, who was the long time host of the World Service’s Newshour programme, used his personal contacts to establish whether the individual’s claims were true, the hearing was told.

The broadcaster said he had been informed the asylum seeker was on a “control list” and would likely be “picked up” on his arrival in Pakistan.

After the former correspondent described the “poor conditions” of prisons in Pakistan in a report provided to the tribunal, the individual was granted refugee status.

An immigration judge found that it would breach the man’s Article 3 rights, which protect against persecution and torture, under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) if he were to return to his home country, where he claimed he was wanted by the Pakistan military for desertion.

The judge overruled the Home Office, which had claimed that “little weight” could be attached to Dr Bennett-Jones’s report as he was “an expert on extremism rather than the Pakistan military”.

    ‘Arrested, tortured, interrogated’
The Pakistani, who was granted anonymity, came to the UK on a student visa in 2010 after fleeing Pakistan. He applied for leave after his visa ended, with appeals lasting until 2020, when he was told he would be deported.

He then appealed the deportation, saying that he had turned to the Pakistani military for help after the Taliban attempted to recruit him. He said the Taliban told him he would be “of great use to to them” as he had experience working as a radar technician for the Pakistani air force (PAF).

The police refused to help him, so he returned to his PAF base to inform his commanding officer of what had happened. He was then arrested by military police, tortured and interrogated for nine days before being granted a month’s leave – during which he fled to the UK.

The tribunal said: “[He] claims that he is now wanted as a deserter by the PAF and that military officials often visit his family’s home to question them about his whereabouts.”

As a deserter, he faced arrest and court martial if he returned, he said. Dr Bennett-Jones provided the tribunal with a “country expert report”, which the asylum seeker “relied upon” in the proceedings.

The former BBC journalist said: “Having been given [the asylum seeker’s] passport number and CNIC [ID card] number by his lawyer, I enquired from my contacts in Pakistan about [his] status. It turns out that he is on the Passport Control List.”

Dr Bennett-Jones said he managed to obtain this information through “good senior contacts in Pakistan” but could not divulge the names of his sources as it would put them at risk. He said the asylum seeker was “still on the Passport Control List and would therefore be picked up on his arrival in Pakistan”.

    ‘An impressive CV’
Matthew Hoffman, an upper tribunal judge, rejected the Home Office’s argument that Dr Bennett-Jones was an expert on extremism rather than the Pakistan military. He said: “We find that Dr Bennett-Jones has an impressive CV.”

The judge referred to the fact that Dr Bennett-Jones was a former BBC foreign correspondent and had been the Corporation’s Islamabad bureau chief, as well as his having reported on South Asia for 25 years. He also noted that he ran seminars for British diplomats and civil servants and that he had a PhD.

Judge Hoffman said: “Considering the evidence together in the round and applying the lower standard applicable in protection cases, we are satisfied that the appellant is on the [exit control list].

“We also find that the most likely reason for this is that the [individual] is wanted for desertion from the PAF having not returned from his one month’s leave in early 2010.

“We are satisfied to the lower standard that on return to the country [the man] is likely to be stopped at the airport and arrested pending a court martial. We accept [evidence from] Dr Bennett-Jones’s first report that the likely punishment for desertion is a period of imprisonment.

“We are therefore satisfied that if the [man] was to be arrested and detained on return to Pakistan as a deserter from the PAF, then his removal would breach the UK’s obligations under Article 3 [of the ECHR].”ENDS

The Ad Agencies have surpassed themselves – my childhood read of The Famous Five has gone beyond woke in the Great Western Railways ad.

OK a black kid has been inserted into this animated version – fine, but the storyline of them finding an engagement ring, and chasing the owner across the countryside – again OK, all ends well with the owner – a girl, proposing to her fiancee – another girl ! Oh God this endless subliminal messaging never ends. Admittedly you only see the proposal for a fleeting second but enough to push the agenda. Cartoons which little ones will no doubt watch. Unforgivable.

More far left theft and fraud:

“U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer announced on Monday that her department will return over $1 billion in unused COVID-era funding back to the taxpayer amid the Trump administration’s push for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to slash waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government.

In a press release, the Labor Department said $1.4 billion of unspent COVID funding will be “returned to taxpayers through the U.S. Department of Treasury’s General Fund” and added that “action” is “being taken to recover the remaining $2.9 billion.”

“The roughly $4.3 billion was intended for states to use for temporary unemployment insurance during the pandemic,” the press release states. “Instead, several states continued spending millions of dollars despite no longer meeting necessary requirements, which was uncovered in a 2023 audit conducted by the department’s Office of Inspector General.”

It appears increasingly that the whole “Adolescence” story is one big woke Government Psy-op intended to demonise the white working class, brainwash our children, and prepare the way for further government legislation and control of online activity.

Coronavirus: Peak District drone police criticised for ‘lockdown shaming’ Published 27 March 2020
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-52055201

It said “the message is still not getting through” about stopping the spread of coronavirus, despite government guidance and several police posts.

One Twitter user called it “the worst kind of nanny policing” while others pointed out that the walkers were away from crowds.

TWatO Watch #1 – typical BBC!

Pole position on the news and on TWatO was the attack on five ambulances, a firetruck and a UN vehicle killing 15 people. The IDF say the vehicles were approaching IDF troops suspiciously and without lights. That, say the BBC, is incorrect and they mysteriously have a Palestinian who survived the attack to give an account on radio, there’s a surprise! The BBC believing a Palestinian. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cq80x0z2evvo

Really hope DJT has a series of tariffs on top of each other – eg a civil rights tariff – applied to regimes such as Britain which has political courts and restrictions on freedom – another one on countries which won’t control their borders – another one for Marxists like TTK ….

The BBC has now realised Elon Musk will be leaving in May – and making that out to be discord in the Trump cabinet ….anything to rubbish a good president …. Keep going DOGE ..

There’s also an 18 year old white convert to Islamic terrorism – remember – the real danger is far right terrorism – yeah right …

BBC TV news bragging about a getting secret news reports out of the Myanmar earthquake district by undercover reporters who ignored the blackout on news by the ruling authorities and entered the region undercover.

The reporter actually used phrases like “we also managed to “slip-in” to local hospitals to speak to injured” – once again against government permissions.

What a dangerous stance to take. It surely puts locals who might unwittingly provide information that would make them targets for punishment by the ruling junta!

How arrogant the BBC has become! They really do see themselves akin to The Lone Ranger when it comes to hounding baddies don’t they?

My age, if I am circumcised, how many breasts I would like to self-identify with, what time-zone I feel like being in, my inside leg measurements etc etc.

I feel like I have been data-raped and will need a sit-down with a strong cuppa tea.

I want to get the little chip thing out of the late Senora’s iPhone, and fit it into the smaller phone I can take with me whenever I’m out walking the dog, in case I trip a*** over head in the process and knock myself out or similar!

But can I find out where the darn thing is?

YouTube may tell me, but, Hellfire, what a palaver…

there should be a little pin hole on one edge of the phone, usually top left, you get the end of a paper clip (or the dedicated poker-in that was provided with the phone, basically a thin rigid wire) , poke it in and the sim card should pop out in a little tray.

Careful where you open the phone because it’s easy for that SIM card to ‘disappear ‘’’ do it on a piece of paper . I’ve always found a safety pin does the job ….
