TWatO Watch #1 – oh, that is interesting Ed Stourton …..

Discussion on Trump Tarriffs. Ed interviews Jeremy Hunt, but then sort of interrogates him and suggests the ‘BBC David Dimbleby line’ that we should part of a larger protectionist group, such as the EU & enjoying 20% tarriffs! 🙁 Jeremy Hunt, fortunately, does not agree. 🙂

Things will only get worse as the coming generations get even more radical….shame this isn’t acknowledged by those in positions of power and influence….

‘‘Diversity is our strength’ rings hollower by the day’

‘The Whitestone Insight polling conducted on behalf of the Institute on the Impact of Faith in Life (IIFL) found that seven in 10 British Muslim respondents identified with their religious identity first and foremost – with around a quarter identifying most strongly with their British/English national identity.

This is not necessarily a surprise, especially when one considers the centrality of Islam to the lives of many British Muslims, including the concept of the Ummah (global Islamic community). But the fact that younger British Muslims are more likely to identify as “Muslim first” than their elders – peaking at 85 per cent for 18-to-24-year-olds – burns a hole in the theory that “minority identities” subside over the generations.’

I’d like to see Labour councillors houses buried under thousands of sacks of rubbish- but hey, that’s a personal prejudice.

Tomo – I think it’s inevitable that the US scales back on funding NATO – Unless it’s in the interests of the US – let the EU throw money into protecting the East – and definitely not the UK – btw – saw that the navy is trying flog two amphibians ships to the Brazilians …. I’d have thought TTK wouid have kept them to bring his third world voters safely from France …

Tomo – despite my very Right views ( small state – basic welfare _ basic NHS ) i do favour defence – real defence – like functioning nuclear subs and the ability to put good people and good kit where they are needed for national defence – eg The Falklands – the UK border – other places we might need to be one day – particularly since we need to please the US in years to come …reciprocal arrangements …

What is quite curious is that nobody’s overtly putting their name to the EU threats against Musk – putting them threats out there and expecting the public facing EU goons to trot along with it. Making it personal without identifying themselves ….

TWatO Watch #2 – that is interesting, too, but we know the reason for it!

Ed Stourton covers tthe 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Belsen. Jonathan Dimbleby wrote a biography of David Dimbleby, his father who reported memorably on the liberation of Belsen for the BBC. Ed thinks anti-semitism is on the rise. We know that that is down to the BBC believing all that a Palestinian tells them and unfavorably reporting on Israel. Plus the fact that Hard Lefties, like the BBC, are dead against the IDF.

Society for Pismronunciation of Wurdz #1.

My moan about Deck Aids. It is now common for Beeboid presenters and contributors to pronounce it as ‘Deck Aids.’ I was taught to say ‘deecades’ or at least ‘dercades’. Moan over.
