The BBC are revelling in the ‘Trump-created’ finance meltdown and are providing ‘helpful’ advice as to what it might mean for we ordinary plebs.
They mention pensions . And are keen to differentiate between defined benefit schemes ( which are rock solid and totally unaffected by the current situation) and defined contribution schemes (where the individual takes all the risk and has seen the value of his pension pot go down by 5-10% in the last week)..
But strangely the BBC somehow managed to forget to mention that the defined benefit schemes are almost exclusively public sector pensions (subsidised by all taxpayers) whilst defined contribution schemes are almost exclusively private sector pensions.(largely unsubsidised by other taxpayers).
A more telling example of BBC bias would be hard to find.
Not to mention TTK.
