Below is Douglas Murray on Newsnight, starting at 14:50.

Of course the Beeboid tries to derail him, but Murray manages to make a few good points.

The highly biased panel then all pile in to call him dangerous divisive, of course.

BBC told to apologise as ‘blacklisted’ scientist dismantles trans debate on Question Time in resurfaced clip

    ———————————————————————————-

The BBC has been told to apologise for allegedly “blacklisting” a scientist who said changing sex is impossible.

Professor Robert Winston made the remarks in a 2021 edition of BBC’s Question Time programme and viewers say he is “barely on TV anymore”.

After the UK Supreme Court ruled that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, a video of Winston’s appearance is doing the rounds again on X.

In the clip, Professor Winston “categorically” declared that you cannot change your sex.

He also joked the BBC would cut his remarks out of the programme’s final edit, something they did not do.

But Winston told Fiona Bruce he sensed a wave of hate mail coming his way – revealing it is something he had become accustomed to.

You cannot change your sex”, he said.

“Your sex is there in every cell in the body. You have chromosomal sex, genetic sex, hormonal sex, all sorts of different types. Psychological sex and brain sex.

“We have unfortunately got very confused about this. Regrettably, we have got into this argument.”

Fiona Bruce put it to Winston that many would argue he is being “transphobic”, something he acknowledged would likely be the case.

He responded: “Unfortunately, you can’t say this publicly. Undoubtedly me saying this will result in me getting a lot of hate mail.

“I do think it’s a big issue about the attitudes. There are, of course, issues about young people being confused about their sex but we won’t get into that here.

Overall, I think it’s a sad thing we can’t discuss biological science without getting into this emotional argument.”

X users have responded by calling for the BBC to apologise to Winston, claiming he has been “blacklisted” by the broadcaster.

Winston, who is one of the UK’s best-known scientists, used to present BBC programme How Science Changed Our World.

His “inspiring” trip to a classroom in Northamptonshire last year was covered by the BBC News website.

The BBC has been approached for comment.

INFLATION Watch #1 – Zephir will disagree with the math but …

Four pints of milk have gone up from £1.45 to £1.55 so that is a 6.89655% increase, vastly above the current rate of inflation. We are blessed in the UK with a very competitive supermarket sector and there are signs that ASDA & Sainsburys are going to be cutting prices to save Rachel from Accounts from drastic inflation.

“Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., chartered a private jet worth up to a staggering $15,000 an hour for several West Coast stops on their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour.

Sanders boarded the luxury Bombardier Challenger private jet at the Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield, California, on Tuesday afternoon, according to a photo captured by a source on the ground and shared exclusively with Fox News Digital. Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez, whom the source also spotted boarding the private jet, spoke at their “Fighting Oligarchy” event in Bakersfield just hours earlier.

Flight records reveal the jet landed at Sacramento Mather Airport on Tuesday evening, which is about a 20-minute drive to Folsom, California, where the self-identified Democratic socialists hosted their second rally of the day.

The jet Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez were seen boarding made stops in Salt Lake City and Boise prior to landing in Bakersfield, according to flight records. The arrival dates match the duo’s “Fighting Oligarchy” events in Salt Lake City and Nampa, which is about a 25-minute drive from Boise Airport.

“Champagne socialists Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez demand Americans surrender their pick-up trucks, air conditioning and meat from the luxe leather seats of their private jets that cost more per hour than most Americans earn in months. Their hypocrisy is staggering,” National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) spokesperson Ben Petersen said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The Bombardier Challenger private jet is operated by Ventura Air Services, which touts “one of the widest cabins of any business jet available today” and provides “superior cabin comfort for its passengers.” According to their website, the private jet can cost up to $15,000 an hour.

Sanders has long been ridiculed for relying on luxury private planes while crisscrossing the country, warning Americans about climate change and the threats of billionaires seizing political power. Despite his Democratic socialist platform advocating for universal healthcare, the Green New Deal and ending wealth inequality, Sanders flying private has become infamous.

Sanders’ campaign committee, Friends of Bernie Sanders, spent over $221,000 chartering private jets during the first quarter of 2025, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reviewed by Fox News Digital. The filing, which was released on Tuesday, shows that Sanders dropped the massive haul between three private jet companies: Ventura Jets, Cirrus Aviation Services and N-Jet.

Just in case it had escaped your attention, it’s Easter weekend…

What is it about Keir Starmer, King Charles and the bloody BBC? They’re clearly much more comfortable genuflecting for Ramadan-a-ding-dong, but celebrating the risen Christ seems to embarrass them.

I have a long standing tradition…I always like to go on a lengthy ramble on Good Friday. Tramping up the hills and forests of the north downs, drinking in our beautiful countryside and quietly celebrating our still lovely country. You never know, I might even pop into a church…if they let me in…

Then it’s back home to pots of strong tea and as many toasted hot cross buns as I can gorge on…which is usually quite a few.

I’m sad to see our sacred traditions wilting on the vine. Our culture is an ancient one and should be cherished. And those that have the most responsibility to nurture and tend to it are the ones least inclined to do so.

King Charles is Defender of the Faith…then he should %$£*ing well defend it!

It is becoming obvious even in the national press:

“The BBC has been accused of “shielding the Labour Party from criticism” over the Birmingham bin crisis. Radio 4’s flagship Today programme did not mention that Labour was in charge of Birmingham City Council during Wednesday’s episode, which featured several items on the strikes, including an interview with the local authority’s leader John Cotton.

Members of Unite walked out on March 11 in a dispute over pay and jobs, leading to rubbish piling up in the streets. Tory Shadow Culture Secretary Stuart Andrew told The Telegraph: “This looks like yet another case of the BBC shielding the Labour Party from criticism. Thanks to Labour’s disastrous management of Birmingham and their refusal to stand up to their union paymasters, residents are being plagued with rats the size of cats and streets overflowing with rubbish reportedly weighing more than the Eiffel Tower.

“Yet in a three-hour programme, which even featured an interview with the council leader, the BBC failed to mention once that Birmingham City Council is run by Labour.” Mr Andrew added that “with local elections approaching, and other areas at risk of becoming ‘another Birmingham’ under Labour, the public deserves a national broadcaster that tells the full story – and the truth about who is responsible”.

During the three-hour show, the broadcaster did not highlight that the under-fire town hall is Labour-run.

Mr Cotton was introduced as “the leader of Birmingham City Council” and asked if he accepted responsibility “personally” for the bins row.”

Why are they using a 70-odd member, taxpayer funded team to research and produce complete non-stories like this ?.

Clearly they are struggling to find things for them to do. In and private company, they would be disbanded. But as the BBC get funded not matter what shit they churn out, they just carry on doing it.

It’s also clear that google-surfing ‘BBC Verify’ is staffed by the idiots which none of the ‘professional’ teams want. Maybe they keep it going to stop these children doing any damage elsewhere.

On Toady JustRemainin has to tread oh so carefully as he dances around the handbags with the leader of ASCL, the teacher Union.
Gosh. The work required to bring schools into line with the ruling.
Except there never should have been. In a 1000 pupil secondary school, statistically there might be one trans pupil. Did we ever need diversity and inclusion training for that? Did we need to change the toilets and changing rooms? Did the kids need new PSHE lessons? No. They never did.
The first real issue is the spinelessness of the authorities who ‘took the knee’ so to speak in favour of the Stonewall and Far Left extremists on the issue. The real shame is with them.
The second real issue is how to straighten out all the mixed up kids going through the teenage years who have been fed all the trans guff, which formed the plan to boost the trans numbers by the Far Left pressure groups in question.
Those issues of course will not be asked by the BBC as it seeks to destabilise society by prioritising tiny tiny minorities at the expense of the population in general.

The nonsense about the need to install thousands of new ‘gender free’ toilets is an imaginary, invented problem to try and delay or prevent compliance with the law. All public institutions and all commercial businesses other than the very smallest have a statutory requirement to provide separate, cubicle-based toilets for the use of disabled people. All that’s involved is a putting a new sign on the door to identify it as for ‘disabled and those unable to use the other toilets’. As you point out, the number of people affected is vanishingly small.

As an aside…..bear with me…..on our Londonistan street our bins are emptied on a Friday. But they are not emptied on ‘Bank Holidays’. Thus they will not be emptied today. It is therefore a measure of our diversity and multiculturalism that very many houses have put their bins out for emptying today. The houses which have done so are…ahem….demonstrably from non-Christian faiths.

And I can’t see many lady bin men either for some reason. Perhaps the government should pass a law to ensure that people can have their bins emptied ‘by people who look like them’.

“Of course, there’s the worsening cost of living crisis and a lot of pressure on small and medium sized businesses at the moment. Well, young… man…? Sorry, your name tag is confusing me. I just wanted to ask a manager about what overdraft facilities you offer and the chances of getting a bank loan. I’m wondering whether Lloyds is my best option? Do you look after your customers’ finances? Is the bank well run? What does Lloyds do to support local high street businesses? Are you planning to close my local branch, for instance?”

Absolutely. I mean, probably your local branch will survive. And of course you should bank with us. Andrew Walton, the chief corporate affairs director at Lloyds posted on the bank’s internal LGBQT+ Rainbow network messaging board… He said “Thought I would come on here today with a note of support…”

“Sounds promising. Support for local high street business customers during these challenging financial times?”

Er, no… for our trans and non-binary colleagues on what I know will be an unsettling day following the UK Supreme Court decision

“But what about my overdraft? What is your interest rate and what charges will you make?”

He, Him/They, Them would tell you Please know that we cherish and celebrate you and we remain committed to inclusivity

“How much longer will I have to wait to see my bank manager?”

Ze/Hir/Hirs will be with you shortly. Ze/Hir/Hirs is rather busy with some very important business at the moment

“Dealing with a major bank client?”

No. Dealing with a vital internal memo that’s just come down from head office.

“Goodness. Some reaction to breaking news? That must be advice about how to support your customers as we go into economic recession?”

Not exactly, the memo reads:“If you’re a line manager, please be mindful of the potential impact on members of your team and be available to them. We are here to listen and support”

“The potential impact of new tax hikes and rising inflation? Soaring energy costs? Advice for employers coping with a bigger National Insurance bill? Increased minimum wage costs and employee rights? How to negotiate US import tariffs and complex EU trade regulations and restrictions?”

No. The Supreme Court ruling that the definition of a woman is biological

“And this is THE major current issue on the minds of ALL Lloyds bank managers?”

Oh yes… Sharon Dougherty, the chief and places officer at Lloyds, said in response to Mr Walton’s post: “Very well said… standing in solidarity at this very tough time”. Both Mr Walton and MS Dougherty are amoung the most senior leaders at the bank

“I hope you got Their/They’s pronouns right! I think I’ll go with the Halifax or Bank of Scotland instead”

    We own Them/They

I had my suspicions raised a few years back when Lloyds ran an advertising campaign with the slogan ‘He said yes!’. It was a picture of man on his knees, presumably proposing… to another man (yes Alice, your Adventures in Wonderland didn’t go far enough). Better if they stick to the black horse, perhaps. But, other banks are available. And other Lloyds companies which have alternatives include Scottish Widows, MBNA, Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Birmingham Midshires and Lex Autolease.

‘Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has been criticised by senior politicians across the political spectrum after she backed Israel’s decision to deny two UK Labour MPs entry to the country.
Badenoch told the BBC that Israel had a right to “control its borders”, adding it was “very significant” there were Labour MPs other countries did not want to let in.

Foreign Secretary David Lammy said her comments were “disgraceful” [and “unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning”], while Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey said she had shown “unbelievably poor judgement”.’

Whilst today…..apparently not so ‘disgraceful’ or in ‘poor judgement’….and definitely not “unacceptable, counterproductive and deeply concerning”…

‘A philosopher opposed to mass migration has been banned from entering Britain after the Home Office ruled his presence would go against “the public good”.

Renaud Camus, the French novelist, was barred from travelling to the UK to speak on immigration later this month.

The 78-year-old has warned that unchecked immigration will lead to demographic “replacement” of Europe’s indigenous populations.
Mr Camus, who is an openly gay advocate for non-violence, told this newspaper that “of all the European governments guilty” of allowing unchecked migration, “the British government is one of the guiltiest”.

“No wonder it does not want me to speak,” Mr Camus added.’

There is a difference between people whose voices will embolden those who want to destroy Israel and ferment anti-Semitism and those who merely argue for controlled immigration. Labour wnats to ban criticism of Islam and it now seems immigration as well…..if you didn’t know already after Starmer’s Stalinist performance denouncing critics of immigration as Far-Right last year.

      ……………………….COMING SOON……………………….

“The immigrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers, as well as the ordinary people who do not welcome them. They are also joined by the immigrants who already reside in Europe, as well as various left-wing and anarchist groups. Across the West, more and more migrants arrive and have children, rapidly growing to outnumber whites. In a matter of months, the white West has been overrun and pro-immigrant governments have been established, while the white people are ordered to share their houses and flats with the immigrants.”

Simple and uncontentious…a man could dress as a woman and walk into a women’s toilet or changing room and wack his todger out…or even just claim to be a woman, bearded or not, and come in. Not a problem…no issues there.

    But now…a woman is a biological entity…a man is not a woman…and cannot use a woman’s toilet.

This is now ‘complicated and contentious’…a trans-woman will be traumatised by having to use a male toilet [but women being ‘traumatised’ by men using theirs don’t matter]….but it’s not is it? A trans-woman is still a man as we have had rubberstamped by the courts…and thus should use a male toilet…not complicated nor contentious.

Reckon it might be the men who are traumatised when they find this lot in the loo with them…

    Z

Funny how women’s rights were so readily trampled over and disregarded in favour of trans so-called rights. Funny how the BBC fully supported that trampling and indeed participated in the grooming and abuse of very young, vulnerable and suggestable children by trying to persuade and influence them that they are not a boy or a girl…they can be anything they like and schools of course were disgracefully a huge part of that sinister movement as they kept parents out of the loop and even attacked parents who objected.[They often refuse to even disclose what is taught in lessons….which gives a clue as to what is taught and how controversial it might be…much as the BBC won’t disclose the contents of ‘Balen’].

Funny how the BBC so quickly and eagerly adopted the trans-lobby’s language such as ‘assigned at birth’…this is a term that is loaded with meaning and which is intended to undermine reality…much like the Islamist word ‘Revert’ which the BBC also adopted….these terms are political and manufactured…unlike the word ‘terrorism’….Hamas are terrorists, as labelled by government and indeed by their actions, and yet the BBC refuses to use that term despite it not being subjective as ‘assigned at birth’.

The use of ‘assigned at birth’ was clearly a choice, an editorial decision by the BBC, despite them knowing it was both controversial and political rather than fact….it was intended to bolster the trans-lobby’s claims…the BBC was taking sides and pushing trans propaganda.

You may have noted how now, after the ruling, they use ‘born as’ to reflect the actual biology not ideology….how long will they do this for? There’s already a huge effort to muddy the waters and leverage the supposed victimhood of trans and put pressure on politicians to reinvent the laws and cancel the judgement.

Any bets which way the BBC will go?

Cannot see a single mention of Easter on the BBC website this Good Friday whereas the Muslim Eid and Ramaddan always get promoted….then again with the priesthood denying the Divinity themselves who can blame them as the woman priest on Thought for the Day described Jesus as a mere ‘prophet’ rather than Son of God, the Messiah etc.

This is the Muslim narrative, propaganda that reduces Jesus to a mere prophet…one who is superceded by Muhammed whom Islam declares the Final Prophet.

Funny how the BBC can find a priest that trots out this line at Easter.

And the BBC and the Montacutie certainly believe him. He describes the so-called Israeli strike (targeting Hamas operatives?) on the al-Ahli hospital which has suddenly become an Anglican hospital after being previously described by the BBC as a Baptist run hospital. The Doctor says the ceiling of the room he was in collapsed, showering everone with debris. They also have no food and are starving. I think Newsnight and Today – but particularly Newsnight – are in the final stretch now.
It’s gone from world class original news gathering to living in the slipstream of American podcasts.

Which way, I am not sure, but they seem to be doing something about wrong.

Also noteworthy how the BBC media hive prefers mixing with other unsuccessful consumer choice brands… Graun, iPaper, FT, The Economist…

Is it or is it not astounding that there are over 100 organisations and charities that campaign for migration in the UK?…plus the BBC of course….and the Labour Party…and the Tories.

‘107 leaders of NGOs and refugee charities from across the UK, including Refugee Council, Refugee Action, Care International UK, Choose Love, the ONE campaign, International Rescue Committee UK, Safe Passage International, Save the Children UK, WaterAid and many more, have come together to write an open letter to the Prime Minister, calling for the government to end the use of hotels for housing asylum seekers as soon as possible and stop using the UK aid budget to cover these costs.’

Wonder where they think they should go. Recommend a prison camp in the Falklands or some such…fed bare minimum and not entertained or pandered to. Soon stop all these ‘desperate’ people coming to scrounge here living the life of luxury when so many of the native population are actually desperate for the handouts given to these people who rock up in a rubber boat and demand so much.

I was astounded to find out that the Daresbury Park Hotel (formerly known as the Lord Daresbury Hotel) in Halton (formerly Cheshire) was being used to house illegal immigrants. This was a reasonably up market hotel in a rural area very close to where I lived some years ago. Apparently because it’s in such an isolated situation the immigrants are short of things to do, no shops to shoplift from. Daresbury is the childhood home of Lewis Carroll who would have enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland nonsense played out in Britain over this immigrant situation.
