Should “HM Coastguard” be known by that name any more?
“Should Border Force” be called Border Ferry Service?
Why do we pay the French to stop the Illegals? That money would be be better used to pay the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to do the job . After all, that is what they are for .

Is this invasion being done by our own Government?

      Taffman,

This country no longer produces fertiliser ( Middlesborough plant closed recently). This is, due to fertiliser production needs large amounts of energy, and ours is the most expensive.
So it’s an increased population on decreased agricultural land and if there is any interruption or worse to importing it
      ….
WW1 Germany lost because of the British blockade of their ports, they couldn’t import fertiliser, their health suffered worse than ours, and Spanish Flu affected them worse than it did us.

Fairly typical BBC technique…invite in a ‘controversial’ figure[ie someone the BBC disagrees with], do your best to trash them and then when they’ve gone wheel in a selection of people to trash them without a right of reply. They did this with Lord Sumption as he criticised lockdown….he was followed by a couple of programmes over the following days where they raised his comments with people they knew would disagree and would trash him…in his absence.

How many people watch BBC Newsnight?

Chatgpt says “BBC Newsnight’s audience has been declining for years, nearly halving since 2020 when audience figures were 297,000, So that’s 150,000 viewers on average”

How many people watch Joe Rogan?

Chatgpt says “Joe Rogan has 19.3 million subscribers, but his podcasts have had 5.85 billion views”

So Douglas Murray had 150,000 views on the BBC, but 3,700,000 views on Joe Rogan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah6kirkSwTg

” The best news, comments and analysis”

    Headline on the cover :

    Skills crisis ahead.
Pertaining of course to the railways.
Six pages from three railway enthusiasts, even mentioning doing less with less. To me that reads carrying less passengers with less trains! And the rest.

Why don’t we have the skills?

Hold on! Haven’t we been importing engineers via the dinghies?

Dr Beeching was a hate figure. He ( personally!?) slashed the railway mileage when the usage of rail was declining.
Now our Powers That Be will slash the railway mileage when the usage is increasing.

Palestinian migrant who made antisemitic posts charged
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn0j9lpx994o

Another very brief ‘basic facts only’ report by the BBC – despite it being a key example of some of our biggest issues such as illegal immigrants on boats, Islamic terrorism and racist hate speech.

Of course it’s ‘basic facts only’ because they are all topics the BBC try to hide from us.

This article is from March but I link it because everyone is covering the trial of this man. Everybody that is except the BBC.

Here’s what the Evening Standard tell us:
‘His arrival in the UK made national headlines after it was reported that Wadee, a Palestinian from the city of Khan Yunis in Gaza, had posted on social media support for terror group Hamas, and hate-speech calling for the death of Jews.’
‘An alleged Palestinian gunman who reportedly called for the slaughter of Jews livestreamed his illegal arrival into the UK on a small boat, a court has heard.’
‘It was also reported he posted a video on his Facebook page last September in which he is filmed calling for Allah to “punish (Jews) completely”.’

This is how the BBC descibe him:
‘A Palestinian man who made antisemitic remarks has been charged with knowingly arriving in the UK without leave, the Home Office says.’. That’s it.

The last THIRD of the article is given to government propaganda saying ‘”The government is committed to ending small boat crossings which undermine our border security … blah blah blah’.

Isn’t it amazing how all these sorts of stories are uncovered by groups like ‘The Campaign Against Antisemitism’ ?. The BBC seem to have plenty of resources to verify things like Russia using unoccupied apartments in Ukraine – but they NEVER discover absolutely relevant stories like this one.

‘It’s really hard to have any hope’: Gaza doctor describes daily struggle
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckgekpvj3rko

And here we have the racist, Hamas supporter Yolanda Knell doing what she does best : cherry picking empathy to support Palestinians and cast Israel as the bad guys.

She starts with ‘the BBC followed one GP through her shift at a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) clinic.’. This is what pricke dmy interest – she is telling us ‘the BBC’ accompanied the doctor which is intended to make us think what she says is the real, unbiased, first-hand truth.

At first I assumed it would be the author of the article. Yolanda herself. But of course extreme-Lefties like her won’t go anywhere near the terrorists she only supports because – like all BBC staff – she hates right-wing Israel.

So I checked the report to find out – and it is very carefully written so it does not give any clue as to who this ‘BBC’ person is. And when you spot something like that in a BBC article, there is always a reason.

Then I saw it near the top of this very lengthy propaganda piece:
“I was walking for around 50 minutes to reach our clinic,” she explains when she is met by a local BBC journalist who helped us log her day.”
That is the only information we get about who ‘the BBC’ are. Which makes me think the ‘local BBC journalist’ was the only one there and of course is another Palestinian. Who certainly hates Jews and most likely supports Hamas.
The article is more of her worthless junk. But this line sums her up:
‘Israel accused Hamas of using a hospital building as a “command and control centre”; something the armed group denied.’
Surely by now these ‘local BBC reporters’ have confirmed whether Hamas are using hospital buildings instead of having to keep saying ‘Israel claims’. It would be the easiest thing in the world to report on. But they never have. Which just confirms it. Another MASSIVE lie by omission.

“According to the Ministry of Justice, 2024 saw a 28 per cent increase in the number of prison officers dismissed for misconduct. In the previous four years, a record 40 female officers have been dismissed for forming relationships with male inmates in prisons across England and Wales — more than triple the number recorded between 2017–18 and 2019–20, when just nine officers were sacked for similar offences. Just one singular male officer was dismissed, and three same-sex cases were reported.”
      https://thecritic.co.uk/get-women-out-of-mens-prisons/

The number of male & female officers disciplined runs into the thousands.
      2018-19:
2,511 investigations into misconduct, 529 staff disciplined, 112 recommended for dismissal.
In 2022/23 about 185 officers were sacked

Pupil misbehaviour and twinkles in the eye of Judith Hann off Tomorrow’s World edition

“Give me a child until he is seven and I will show you the foundations of the man” so said Aristotle – a notion also attributed to the Jesuits.

Schools misogyny ‘surge’ – is the scary headline claim the gynaeceum that is BBC news staff spot in their copy of the Guardian this morning – and decide to extract, wrap in quote marks and promote as their header to the BBC’s online press line-up. The Guardian naturally taking precedence above all other national titles.

Teachers warn of surge in racism and misogyny (Guardian) – is the BBC’s headline source. For some uncharacteristic reason best known unto themselves the BBC opted to drop the racism claim – perhaps deciding not to over-egg the pudding this Easter.

Expert oracle, pedagogue and cherished ally… or trendy lefty activist supply teacher – depending on your political point of view – Richard Adams, Guardian Education editor, writes: Misogyny and racism are flooding UK schools as pupils ape the behaviour of figures such as Donald Trump and Andrew Tate after exposure through social media and online gaming, teachers have warned

Quick, don’t let the roof cave in on our woke feminised eduction institution!

And there we were thinking all we had to worry about in our schools was: Almost 90 per cent of schools containing reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) are yet to have work carried out to remove the collapse-prone building material, it has been revealed. The Lib Dems have said it is “deeply concerning” (A welcome debut hereabouts for Schools Week, January 2025 ‘Want to stay ahead of the crowd on schools news? Like to know what the education secretary is planning… determined to get past the bluster and explain the facts?’)

Young British boys in the playground are apeing the behaviour of former property tycoon, reality TV star and two-term Republican president Donald Trump…? Really?

When I were a lad… it were footballers and astronauts… but perhaps it’s just that young boys these days simply don’t have that sort of role model any more?

Fifa Women’s World Cup: Five ways women’s football beats men’s (Alice Evans, BBC): All-female Blue Origin crew reflect on ‘phenomenal dream’ of travelling into space (BBC)

But we digress. We’ve read his conclusions but let’s ask Richard Adams, Guardian Education editor, to show his workings, so to speak.

A survey by NASUWT union found most teachers identified social media as “the number one cause” of pupil misbehaviour, with female staff bearing the brunt (Guardian)

When I were a lad… we’d sometimes play up a bit in class – but I don’t think it was the media causing it – this was back when there were just three TV channels and even the fax machine, the walkman and the video recorder were little more twinkles in the eye of Judith Hann off Tomorrow’s World

As for female staff bearing the brunt of misbehaviour… you should have seen the way we messed Miss about in Friday afternoon double geography.

Meanwhile, despite the winter fuel allowance cut, one detects certain hints that our politicians may be chasing the grey vote afterall: Personal health MOT for all heading to retirement… Wes Streeting said… inspired by advances in Japan… (Telegraph)

    I’m turning Japanese
    I think I’m turning Japanese
    I really think so

    [The Vapors, 1980]

I have to admit I’m absolutely sick of reading the BBC’s blatant propaganda regarding Ukraine. They have free-rein to say anything they want because nobody dare accuse anyone of telling lies or putting the blame on Russia : they are instantly assasinated by trolls who make the Brexit trolls look like amateurs.

First they just can’t resist even the slightest possibility to slur Trump in some way. Here they are making him sound like a bully instead of someone actually trying to stop the war:

Ukraine minerals deal may not buy peace after Trump threat
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy5rqvqg36qo

But the stand-out part in this article for me is this:

‘What it has done is launch some of the deadliest missile strikes on civilians in recent days. In Kharkiv in the north-east, more than 100 people were injured and one person was killed after three struck a residential part of the city.’

‘But these attacks have not brought the slightest condemnation from the White House’

What I know for certain is that if Russia was trying to kill civilians with these 3 missiles, there would be dozens dead. Not just one. Which tells me they hit something else which Ukraine had located in a civilian area. And they won’t tell us how many soldiers or foreign officials got killed. And locating military sites in civilian areas is absolutely standard practice for them now. They would all be dead if they lived in army bases.

And the lack of condemnation from the White House will be because they will know what Russia actually hit. The BBC made a big thing of Trump calling the attack ‘horrible’ – but he was referring to the actual attack, not the motive behind it.

What is looking very likely to me at this stage is that Zelensky is being instructed by the EU about what to say to Trump and they are creating many of the problems. It’s clear they absolutely don’t want the war to end and the poor comedian has to remember THEY will be his masters when it’s all over.

None of this is any of the BBC reports because we – like the EU – are up to our necks in it now. The gamble with Ukraine as the prize is on the verge of failure and people are getting desperate.

And now Russia have no real incentive to stop. They are winning. I doubt we are going to see any ceasefire soon – if Russia keep doing what they are doing, the Ukranian army will collapse. And then I absolutely think the EU are going to wangle it so they can join in. Their future world domination is at stake.

Shockingly, Tell MAMA has recorded disproportionate amounts of anti-Muslim hate targeted towards the following British politicians who happen to be Muslim and in the following order of frequency, with the most targeted politician listed first:
      1. The Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan,
      2. The former Scottish First Minister – Humza Yousaf MSP
      3. Zara Sultana MP
      4. Apsana Begum MP
      5. Naz Shah MP”

Those people seem to often spout HATE themselves.

        When I search Twitter on
        : Convicted for Anti-Muslim hate
        : Conviction for Anti-Muslim hate
There are very few concrete cases
Just things like the Sweden guy who burnt the Koran
..He was killed soon after conviction.

This Guardian editorial re Labour V Reform…. A classic example of how the journalistic left totally fail to read the room simply because they cannot or don’t want to look it in the face..

TOADY Watch #1 – who runs the UK? The Unions?

This morning it is wimmin and wimmin teachers, in particular. The NASUWT are complaining about misogyny in schools ahead of their annual conference. NASUWT = National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers ironically headed by a man but, these days, who knows? The Wimmin teachers are blaming Andrew Tate (again!) and mobile phones. And influencers and INCELS and … . The NASWUT could of course, if they had a mind to, blame the lack of male teachers in Primary Schools. They could of course blame the fashionable ‘trans’ ideology in schools as well. Of the teachers I had in Primary School, Head = male, two others were male one of which had an influence on my latter career but the standout one, most remembered at the school centenary was a female, Miss Best. And she was one of the best!
