While I don’t watch any of these tv awards shows they do serve a very useful purpose.
Any drama, show or whatever which gets an award is one to avoid.
The woke giving awards to woke programming for being woke, full of actors placed there for DIE reasons, is an excellent indicator that whatever wins will be crap.
It’s a bit similar to the trigger warnings given out for some older programs which usually mean they are worth watching.

Burnham ‘ummed’ and ‘aaahed’, and hasn’t an original thought in any of his drivel! Of course, like keir, he din’t answer any of the questions, however simple they might be.
Other world leaders will wipe the floor with him when he turns up at any summits – if he does dare show his face that is.

The BBC is reporting on the inquest involving Nottingham Police Force and the savage murders of Barnaby Webber, Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates. Yesterday the police were accused of not having done enough to prevent the deaths, today the headline is “Police say Nottingham attacks were ‘not preventable'”.
Well, the attacks WERE preventable. They were committed by Valdo Calocane. He is not of this country: he is a dual Guinea-Bissau/Portugal national who was brought to this country as a teenager by his parents. Why were foreign nationals from a former Portuguese colony living in Britain? It’s not even part of the Commonwealth and there has never been a significant British connection with it.
Regardless of the actions or inactions of the police, the simple facts are that any crime committed by an immigrant is a crime that should never have occurred in the natural order of things. These are voluntary crimes, ones that the country has chosen to risk, a direct consequence of British government policy, both past and present.

It seems to me that Labour have lost (democratically@40%) but act as though they have won and the Conservatives have won (democratically@42.4%) but are waiting to lose, rather than take power and getting on with it.
So I suggest rather than this continuing this tiring political, we take this problem further a field. Venezuela is praised by some Labour Members as a socialist dream, along with Cuba, South Africa and China. So we do a ‘wealth transfer’ of people.
All members of Labour Party with families (483,000 Labour Members March2017) can transfer to one of the countries that signs up for this great experiment. In response, people from the socialist countries who no longer want the socialist dream, because they are living it, can come to the UK – trying to keep it one for one as close as possible – same skill would be great but this won’t be completely possible.
We run this for 10 years and see where we get to. Socialist get to build their socialist dream in a socialist country, possibly with sunnier weather. The people who have had enough of the socialist dream can come to the UK to work hard and improve the UK.
