I know this is biased bbc but has anyone else seen the appalling advert on ITV for heat pumps?
With joint badging from the Emmerdale soap, and ludicrous claims about how much cheaper heat pump central heating would be (did I hear 70%?) , plus the £7500 bung from the taxpayer to buy it, we have one of the worst and most transparently lying examples of greenwashing currently available.
I suspect the public will in general see it for what it is, while the utterly deluded Ed Milliband will carry on regardless.

Outrage after ‘dishonest’ BBC blunder sparks fury.
The BBC has been blasted for presenting a “dishonest” view of communism in a video aimed at educating children. The broadcaster’s BBC Bitesize video, intended to inform viewers of the history and ideological underpinnings of communism, is said to gloss over the mass murder committed by the Soviet Union.
The clip, designed for 11 to 14-year-olds, sketches the central tenets of Marxism and the start of the Soviet era in Russia. However, it makes no mention of Joseph Stalin or the tens of millions killed in the communist regimes around the world. The narrator in the BBC video concedes that anti-communist voices believe the ideology places “too many limits on individual freedom” and may be “too centralised”.
However, after that, no other criticism of communism is presented. The famines and mass killings in Soviet Russia, Mao Zedong’s murderous regime in China, and Pol Pot’s killing fields in Cambodia are not mentioned.
Prof Robert Tombs, a Cambridge historian, told The Telegraph: “To teach the history of communism as if it was just another political theory with a few minor downsides, rather than the basis of many of the most inhuman forms of totalitarianism in history, is utterly dishonest and makes it impossible for children to understand the modern world.”
A BBC spokesman said: “This is a Bitesize for Teachers resource and clearly labelled for use by teachers, not for direct use by students. It is designed to be used alongside other resources and therefore is not a comprehensive summary of the curriculum area. There are other resources for teachers which cover the oppression and murder by communist regimes.

One of the BBC’s tricks is to limit the scope of agenda stories by the headline. In this case, it automatically focusses the article on the womans own personal statements. It is deliberately dismissing any consideration of WHY people think what they do.
So the only reason we get for th enegative opinion of gypsies is:
‘Chantelle, 23 from Bedfordshire, says she’s proud of her background but has sometimes been “nervous” to share it because of negative portrayals of her community in the media.’
That’s it. And it’s absolute bullshit. The truth is the exact opposite : the media don’t even report what these people do now. They might report the story of what terrible behaviour some people did when they terrorised a Town centre – but they will never identify it was Gypsies who did it.
My opinion is based entirely on experience and first-hand accounts of others about the truth.
The latest was just a few weeks ago when I was out hiking with my friend who was telling me about the quite expensive golf club he joined. It has a gypsy site next to it.
He said he got to a hole and a group of very unpleasant men were playing it. He asked them if they were members and was basically told that if he didn’t f*ck off, he was going to get a kicking. He reported it back at the clubhouse and they said there was nothing they could do. The police will not do anything and of course nobody dare deal with it themselves. So he was told he had to just avoid them.
This is just the latest of many stories from around the Hull area. A guy came to collect some scrap metal which he sells to a Gypsy and he told me some tales which were hard to believe. They live in a sub-world of their own where they do not follow our laws. And of course the police dare not interfere because naiive idiots like ‘Sola Lee’ at the BBC will write articles saying they are racist.
But of course Shola only typed this article up and made edits as commanded by the BBC’s anonymous ‘agenda control’ team who seem to have a mandate to try and engineer global society according to their own politics.
I wonder who gave them that ?.

I was once locked in a pub for about an hour, as the only customer, in Stow on the Wold in 1978. The reason was the forthcoming gypsy horse fair and the landlady wanted to avoid trouble so they were vetting customers. Later, a bunch of guys from the nearby Fire Service college turned up and then she felt a lot safer.

Over the week end the centre right historian and biographer Simon Heffer wrote a piece in the Telegraph about Trump making life tough for conservatives because of his tariffs and opposition to free trade. In a separate piece Professor Heffer denounced the BBC as producing nothing of value and using its position to proselytise on behalf of the woke left.
Is it possible that even such clever chap as Heffer still thinks in terms of politics being left v right when it has actually developed into a struggle between Globalism v Nationalism?
I suspect that he deliberately avoids using the Globalist v Nationalist paradigm because once you see current politics through that lens you immediately realise that LibLabCon is indeed the Globalist Uniparty and Reform is the only party in the Nationalist camp.

Grace needs to find out what it is like asking a surgery for a PSA test. At ours you have to fill in an online form, the underlying message is that if you want a PSA test you must be thick because they are a waste of time and more likely to give you a false positive. MP David Lammy apologises for BBC Pope race ‘innuendo’ claim.
A Labour MP has apologised for claiming the BBC made a “silly innuendo about the race” of the next Pontiff.
David Lammy was commenting on a BBC Twitter message, which asked “will smoke be black or white?”.
Mr Lammy, tweeting from the Commons chamber, said the BBC message was “crass and unnecessary”.
He later apologised after Twitter users pointed out the role played by black and white smoke in announcing the election of a new Pope.

I only watch GB News but that is currently unwatchable with its total coverage of the Pope.
There are lots of other things, much more important, going on and Labour is able to bury the bad news, the TTK / Lord Ali video, selling us out to the EU giving the French our fish, how many scientists boating over and so much more.
At least they haven’t cancelled the football today so I’ll miss a few hours of the still dead Pope repeated trivia and I’ve got some films recorded until the blanket coverage slows down.
