Midweek 23rd April 2025

Happy St George’s Day . Play a game – when will the BBC first describe St George as ‘non British ‘ or ‘probably a Turkish Muslim ‘ or a ‘refugee ‘ or a ‘far right symbol ‘ …. You know their song … dump the licence …

Footage from a Kneecap concert at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London in November 2024 shows a member of the group, draped in a Hezbollah flag, shouting “up Hamas, up Hezbollah” to the crowd.

during their Coachella performance on April 18, 2025, the Irish band Kneecap displayed the message “F*ck Israel, Free Palestine” on large screens behind them
band member Mo Chara spoke to the crowd, saying, “The Palestinians have nowhere to go. It’s their fucking home, and they’re bombing them from the skies. If you’re not calling it a genocide, what the f*ck are you calling it?” before leading a “Free, free Palestine” chant

@Grok why were irish band Kneecap given UK government money ?
“The Irish rap group Kneecap was awarded £14,250 by the UK government following a legal battle over a previously blocked arts grant.
The funding was part of the Music Export Growth Scheme (MEGS), which supports UK-registered artists in expanding to global markets.
Initially, their application was approved by an independent panel from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in December 2023. However, then-Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch intervened and blocked the grant, citing the band’s political views, particularly their opposition to British rule in Northern Ireland and their provocative imagery, such as a 2019 tour poster for their “Farewell to the Union” tour.
Kneecap challenged this decision in Belfast’s High Court, arguing that blocking the funding was discriminatory based on their nationality and political opinions. In November 2024, the UK’s Department for Business and Trade, now under a Labour government, conceded that Badenoch’s decision was “unlawful and procedurally unfair.” The court ruled in Kneecap’s favor, and the government agreed to release the £14,250 and cover the band’s legal costs, stating it was not in the public interest to continue contesting the case. Kneecap stated the legal action was about equality, not the money itself, and they donated the grant to two Belfast youth charities, Glór Na Móna and RCity Belfast.”

Got that ? The UK is a banana republic where the Tory/ Labour establishment fail to take care with TAXPAYER money, instead they hand it out like confetti.
Here they set up a scheme to fund export growth fo musicians, but gave an NGO the BPI the job of handing it out
BPI gave it to well known band from Ireland who are outrageous provocateurs who didn’t need the money an didn’t use it for the purpose said.
Idiot Badenooch badly prepared her legal case.
Instead of preparing a dossier of the band’s lawbreaking, she opposed the grants on grounds of their politics
You can’t do that so the court found in their favour.
Now she blames Labour for not contesting the sase.

“Sharon Osbourne has revealed she forced a former employee into her burning house to save artwork, before sacking him for not laughing about the incident afterwards.

Osbourne made the confession on the Would I Lie To You? Christmas special, admitting she tore an oxygen mask off the assistant’s face and gave it to one of her dogs before sending him back inside the blaze.

“I once sacked a member of my staff because he showed absolutely no sense of humour during a house fire,” she said.

Osbourne explained that the fire started in the living room after she and her husband Ozzy had left a candle burning when they went to bed.

The pair were awoken by the fire alarm going off in the night, and after Sharon sent Ozzy down the stairs she heard him shouting for help because his arm and half his hair was on fire.

Sharon said she then hit Ozzy with a magazine to try to put the fire out before pushing him into a fountain. She woke up his assistant, ordering him to “go in and get the paintings out”.

When he initially refused, Sharon told him: “How very dare you. You work here and you get more paintings out right now.”

Sharon added: “I took the mask and I put it on my dog. After this terrible night he was not talking to me. Ozzy and I were recounting everything and we were laughing and laughing. He goes, ‘I don’t see what is funny about any of this. I think I’m going to have damaged lungs.’

“I said, ‘If you don’t think that’s funny, do you think this is funny? You’re fired.’”

It’s no wonder that YouTube isn’t just the world’s largest video platform, but also one of the most popular search engines. For plenty of people, it’s hard to imagine the Internet without YouTube, but in China, it’s the reality.

Like many other websites and platforms that allow for the free exchange of ideas, YouTube is blocked by what is known as the “Great Firewall of China.” However, there are ways to access YouTube videos in China despite the country’s censorship measures. In this article, we’ll explain how. ”

“To our valued users in the United Kingdom,
After careful review and ongoing evaluation of the regulatory landscape in the United Kingdom, we regret to inform you that BitChute will be discontinuing its video sharing service for UK residents.
The introduction of the UK Online Safety Act of 2023 has brought about significant changes in the regulatory framework governing online content and community interactions. Notably, the Act contains sweeping provisions and onerous corrective measures with respect to content moderation and enforcement. In particular, the broad enforcement powers granted to the regulator of communication services, Ofcom, have raised concerns regarding the open-ended and unpredictable nature of regulatory compliance for our platform.”

There’s one or two bitter pills having to be swallowed of late, as our liberal regime finds itself mugged by reality…

Graham Chapman as Arthur King of the Britons in Monty Python and the Holy Grail had a form of catchphrase told to his knights on occasions such as their sudden retreat from the French castle or from the vicious bunny rabbit: “Run Away!”

And on that mike drop moment one should probably exit, however…

You won’t be at all surprised to note that the sole mention of a red letter day, peculiar to the English, on a national daily frontpage pops up in the jokey blokey red top Daily Star: Happy St George’s Day – moving quickly on…

    The pope

I invited readers to play the “bbc St George game©️’ in the preamble above .

But let’s play another one . The attitude of the BBC to the new pope in waiting – guided by the Holy Ghost …

If the Godless – evil – BBC gets its’ approved candidate – obviously someone with dark skin ( clear overt racism is ok for the BBC ) – then it will be a ‘new chapter of hope ‘ for a ‘failing church ‘ …
But if someone unapproved by the BBC – such as a white man with ‘conservative views ‘ aka ‘far right ‘ ( can a pope be ‘far right ‘) then the BBC be going even harder in anti Christian propaganda .

After all – it regularly ignores the slaughter of Christians by satanic Moslims – whatever the skin colour … or the burning of churches … or the murder of priests .

I reckon the BBC sees itself as above God . Big mistake .

Personally the choice of pope doesn’t really engage me – as long as they leave things alone and stick to the Good Book .

Shock and anger after gunmen kill more than 20 tourists in Kashmir
    https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c8x8yqwzznqt

Just reading this BBC ‘libe update’ report and wondering who did it.

I assume it was the Hindus again. The BBC are always telling me how THEY cause all the trouble and antagonise poor Muslim victims.

So I’m scrolling down the articles looking to fin dout.
A live report about an ‘uneasy calm’
A report of an eyewitness ‘victim’ talling us he ran away as quick as he could.
A politician leading a protest march. No mention of the deed or who did it though.
An article about vendor losing business.
An article about where Pahalgam is.
A government official arriving for a meeting.
Ana rticle on tourists rushing to leave.
An article on ‘what do we know about the victims’
An article telling us 26 are dead.
‘The dead also included a local man, identified as a horse rider and the sole breadwinner for his family.’. More empathy for the victims.
An article on the high security where the victims bodies are being kept.
Finally : ‘What do we know about the attackers’
‘Attackers’ ??. What an odd word to use. Anyway, I dig in to find out who did it:
It’s the ‘TRF’ !!!. So who are they ?. We are not told. They are apparently from ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’. The BBC don’t elaborate.

So I give up on the BBC and look up the TRF. I immediately find:
Lashkar-e-Taiba is ‘a Pakistani Islamist Salafi jihadist organisation.’

‘The group is responsible for attacks on and killings of civilians, including those belonging to religious minority communities such as Kashmiri Hindus’

They key to the whole attack and the BBC have hidden it. Why do these extreme-Left scum protect Muslim terrorists like this ?. Even after they commit terrible attrocities such as this and what they did in Gaza.

That right there tells me everything I need to know about the Left. All their virtue-signalling and ’empathy’ is fake. They are the worst kind of people when you realise what they are really like. They have no conscience at all.

We can end poverty, Lord Alli to give everyone free glasses and kickers to the wives of the poor men! We can do this!

    ………………….

In 1972, glasses were not entirely free under the NHS, as charges had been gradually introduced. While a sight test and the basic NHS range of glasses were free, a charge was applied for a specific set of frames, according to The Times. Specifically, “more attractive spectacle frames made from plastics” were introduced to the free range for children, a slight alteration to the available options. This suggests there was a cost for the more stylish frames, while the standard NHS frames remained free.

Chris had to do this piece because yesterday was ragingly on point in the Commons and he had literally no choice.
He backed into it, scribbled ‘isn’t it all awful tho’ and ran away fast. His idea of what’s going on is framed through the lens of personal repercussions for him.

      A true ‘journalist’.

Notice also the flat out lying in government is now treated somewhat less harshly.

You see, some people in the past have been banned for this, and Stew Green will forensically examine some people’s posts for correctness or timeliness, yet you get a free pass.

Well, this being St George’s Day, I was going to visit the home of our former great leader, Sir Winston Churchill. Not that I actually set foot inside Chartwell, but my wee dog and I love rummaging in the beautiful beechwoods thereabouts, he chasing squirrels and me savouring the bluebells. Alas, it’s damp, miserable and bleedin’ freezing…

So instead, I’m attending to a pile of ironing and channeling the former Scottish First Minister, Hamza Useless and deliberately rewording the pathetic turd’s most infamous and racist speech.

    Winston Churchill, English…William Shakespeare, English…Florence Nightingale, English…William Wordsworth, English…Francis Drake, English…Charles Dickens, English…Douglas Bader, English…Horatio Nelson, English…The Industrial Revolution, English…George Stevenson, English…Isambard Kingdom Brunel, English…Margaret Thatcher, English…

The White House is now officially stating what emerged during the Congress hearings last year —

“The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated in nature. A lab-related incident involving gain-of-function research is the most likely the origin of COVID-19 […] Dr. Fauci’s Senior Advisor, Dr. David Morens, deliberately obstructed the Select Subcommittee’s investigation, likely lied to Congress on multiple occasions, unlawfully deleted federal COVID-19 records, and shared nonpublic information about NIH grant processes…”

Given that the BBC will bash Trump at every opportunity it’s noticeable they’re not even touching this for potential misinformation. Verify seem to have had their projects downgraded of late, with the kids being kept busy with hard-hitting investigations like “How much do bin workers get paid?” (between £11.50 and £14.50 per hour, it turns out.)

Haven’t seen any previous announcements prior to today, but have just read this in one of the London papers

St George’s Day traditionally falls on April 23 every year, but this year the Church of England has confirmed it has been pushed back.
There’s good reason for this – the church has a rule that meant no saint’s day can take place in the week before or week after Easter.
“When St George’s Day or St Mark’s Day falls between Palm Sunday and the Second Sunday of Easter inclusive, it is transferred to the Monday after the Second Sunday of Easter,” a note issued by the church says.
“If both fall in this period, St George’s Day is transferred to the Monday and St Mark’s Day to the Tuesday.”

Also obviously TTK not aware of such amendments it states:-

Despite the day being shifted back, the celebrations are in full swing, with Prime Minister Keir Starmer wishing Brits a happy St George’s Day.

……… And a tweet on X from our Two Tier – Two Faced PM
“A very happy St George’s Day to everyone celebrating across England,”
“England is a beautiful country, rich with pride, potential and creativity. Today, let’s remember our shared history, our shared inheritance and our shared values.”
THIS MAN IS AN AN ABSOLUTE DESPICABLE FRAUD !

Regardless of this my calendar states today the 23rd April 2025 as St George’s Day and today the 23rd I celebrated as always.
    – Look on the bright side we can do it all again Monday.

Complaints about bias or misinformation are not investigated by OFCOM, because it has already found that the BBC generally adheres to its left-wing guidelines that mandate bias, lies, propaganda, misinformation, malinformation and disinformation. Critics may express concerns, but a significant number of idiots still support its role in providing propaganda and misinformation. Jonathan Swift anticipated this around 300 years ago! In Gulliver’s Travels, there was a thing called the Flying Island of Laputa, the purpose of which was to coerce subjects into paying taxes by taking away their sun. The “Island”, which was observed to be inhabited, would be interposed on the orders of the government between sun and tax rebels, creating a sort of permanent eclipse, until the latter gave in.
