Midweek 30th April 2025

A few local elections on Thursday 1st May – plenty suspended by the Labour Party . The BBC will continue to claim Britain is a ‘democracy ‘ but that’s more than doubtful these days ….

BBC has finally reported Blair’s intervention in the climate farce…..listening on Times and they say this is massive and a ‘real hammer blow’ to Starmer’s green policies….which makes you wonder why it took the BBC so long to report it….and when you look you’ll see it’s in the ‘Politics’ section reported by a business reporter….which could account for the slightly more balanced and less opinionated style that you won’t get when the BBC’s climate zealot Rowlatt gets his teeth into it. No irony that this is the type of debate Nigel Lawson wanted…10 years ago…how we should deal with climate change [not if it is happening]…but he was of course savaged by the BBC’s finest and then shut out of the debate….

”I’ve been banned by the BBC!’: Ex-Chancellor Lord Lawson, a passionate climate change sceptic, accuses BBC bosses of silencing debate on global warming’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpvrwyp0jx3o

Having said that it is still weighted towards pushing the climate agenda and misses out some interesting comments such as…

‘Whatever the historical responsibility of the developed world for climate change, those with even a cursory knowledge of the facts understand that in the future the major sources of pollution will come principally from the developing world.’

I might suggest it’s not just the future but the last 70 years or so that has seen development in the third world leading to increased CO2….check the population growth against CO2 growth….almost exactly corresponding.

And then there’s this in which you can include the BBC as it captured the narrative and by ramming it down our throats, demonising those who said the slightest thing critical of the zealotry and alienating the rest of us…

‘Which brings us to the way the politics of the climate-change issue has played out over the years. Political leaders by and large know that the debate has become irrational. But they’re terrified of saying so, for fear of being accused of being “climate deniers”. As ever, when sensible people don’t speak up about the way a campaign is being conducted, the campaign stays in the hands of those who end up alienating the very opinion on which consent for action depends.’

As said the BBC ‘business’ report weaves a wobbly line between balance and leaning towards the zealotry but there’s no attempt to ‘explain’ and preach other than to report the climate fanatics’ denouncements of Blair.

It’ll be interesting to read what Rowlatt writes and how he attempts to explain how wrong Blair is…how dangerous he is with this message.

I doubt it will happen much. But the Supreme Court Trans decision showed how gutless and spineless politicians, MSM, and ordinary people allowed themselves to be cowed by the Far Left and extreme zealots into acquiescence and failure to challenge and state the obvious.
Now the Supreme Court has, in effect, showed that the ordinary view was correct all along, and it was not wrong to challenge after all, will those same spineless politicians, MSM, and ordinary people now feel empowered to state the obvious on things like climate change and unfettered mass immigration?
They damn well should. But I doubt the BBC will.

    BBC woke DEI update.

    1. On Pointless today, contestants had to guess the countries of Olympic medal winners. The winners were in pairs, one Ordinary athlete and one Paralympic athlete. Ordinary athletes included Nadia Comanech, Usain Bolt, Cathy Freeman. Paralympic winners included……….no-one anyone has heard of. The aim clearly was to draw equivalence between such as the fastest man who has ever lived and…someone who wasn’t. Equivalent, BBC? You are the only people with that view.
    2. The new Chess tournament shown on BBC2 on Monday nights was won by …..a Trans woman. He walked like a man, talked like a man……but was a she. Apparently. What are the chances of that? On the BBC, as we know, very high.

Just look at what the BBC have churned out now:

    Guardian review:
The Settlers review – this vital film forces Louis Theroux to do something he’s never done before
    Five stars awarded.
By ‘Stuart Heritage’. A bog-standard Leftists TV critic.

    ‘The Jewish Chronical’:
To demonstrate ‘impartiality’, the BBC shows the worst Jews they can find
Theroux’s settler documentary doesn’t illuminate – it rehearses the same old narrative
    https://www.thejc.com/opinion/to-demonstrate-impartiality-the-bbc-shows-the-worst-jews-they-can-find-j8hutqey

The Guardina review is almost comical : it has about as much balance as an episode of Panorama.

The second one pulls it apart with the kind of common-sense and experience language which rings true from start to finish.

This documentary is an excellent example of how the BBC show their bias by only telling us the bits which suit them.

I think our ‘Ruling Class’ (ie the civil servants, the House of Lords and most of the MP’s) still want to project the image that the UK is a great world leader and hence should set an example to everyone else.

They seem to have missed the news that other countries now laugh at us and our attempts to be more ‘progressive’ (ie woke) than everyone else.

LOl….The BBC’s climate zealot Justin Rowlatt completely ignores the Blair torpedo and instead heavily promotes the climate change quango’s alarmist rhetoric….

‘The government has made very little progress in preparing the UK for the growing threats posed by rising temperatures since coming to power, its climate watchdog has warned….”This is not a tomorrow problem; it’s a today problem. If we don’t address it today, it becomes a disaster tomorrow.”‘

Basically we’re all going to die unless we shut down industry, travel and life as we know it.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgpey03pnno

The quango is fully onboard the climate apocalypse bandwagon and Rowlatt delivers their guff as if it were gospel to be followed ‘religiously’…as directed by the Mad Monk Miliband…what the quango says goes….government by diktat of an unelected, fanatical cabal that insists climate considerations, as decided by them, must take priority over any other such as economy or lifestyle and comfort….Parliament must not have a say.

Blair on the other hand..‘…warns against the “alarmist” tone of the debate on climate change, which he says is “riven with irrationality”.’

Not wrong is he as he also says the narrative has been captured by the zealots [like Rowlatt at the BBC?]…funny Rowlatt just doesn’t want to talk about Blair’s comments….

‘Which brings us to the way the politics of the climate-change issue has played out over the years. Political leaders by and large know that the debate has become irrational. But they’re terrified of saying so, for fear of being accused of being “climate deniers”. Having survived the recent 14 hour ? Power failure – I have a few observations / recommendations … this is not BBC – one upside was there was no BBC …..

1 if there is no power – no internet- no phone -you don’t know what is going on . Where I am there are occasional ‘power cuts ‘ but very local – and the www still works . Im on Wi-Fi and 2 other networks – there was nothing …

2 be prepared – I was – but I know I need more – charged power banks – working torches – head torch – candies – matches – bleach – camping stove with gas – those cold boxes which can be kept in the freezer to keep things cold a bit longer . A cold flask also to keep – milk – cooler – longer – might add a day …. More cash if possible as the ATMs are dead …

Bottled water 8 litre if possible –

After 2 days with power back the supermarkets are all empty of cool / frozen stuff – destroyed – bottled water has gone through panic buying – together with much tinned stuff … but they still had lemons for my gin and tonic …

Oh yes – an ordinary wireless with batteries and an aerial to find out what is going on …. Kept in a faraday cage ? It’s tricky to plan without any idea of what’s going on ….

The telegraph today has a projection of what the UK wouid be like without power for a while – it ain’t pretty ….

A story the BBC would normally be all over. A selfless paramedic stabbed through the heart while helping a patient. Just imagine the empathy and sorrow they could fake for that one.

But despite several UK news sites covering it, the BBC don’t. A quick check of the story shows you why. A black woman stabbed a white man.

So they ignore it. They don’t give a shit about stories like that.

Easy solution – allow anonymous cards which anyone can top up with cash, say £100.
Of course the governments excuse for forbidding these is the phantom money laundering.

No name yet but one of the victims had been investigated “over a planned attack against a relative of gang leader Ismail Abdo”. The beeb paint the growing gang problem in Sweden as a teenager thing. From one of their linked articles in 2024, concerning a 13yr old: “little more is known about why a child might have opened fire on an otherwise quiet Thursday morning, outside an Israeli company that sells defence and homeland security solutions.”

It’s a real mystery. And the BBC work hard to make sure the public knows little.

One of the reporters for this item is named as ‘Maddy Savage’ – clearly an example of using a name which matches the crime. Although the BBC is suitably opaque in its ‘reporting’, it does carry a link to an article from last year which references places such as Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Kurdistan. Presumably these are the names of towns in Sweden. Notice the unsubstantiated claim (as the BBC might say) ‘that young people and adults from ethnic Swedish backgrounds are increasingly becoming involved’.

ou can tell that no journalists have actually read the report because they have missed the bit where it promotes a bonkers plan to reflect sunlight back into space:

“In the most extreme case, in which we fail to make significant progress on decarbonisation, the world may need to seriously consider solar radiation management (SRM), a technology generally considered a last resort for addressing global warming. One of the most radical and controversial forms of disruption, SRM involves the direct manipulation of the Earth’s climate system to counteract global warming through techniques aiming to reflect sunlight away or limit the radiation that reaches the Earth. While highly controversial, such technologies may become necessary if mitigation efforts fail to prevent catastrophic climate shifts.”

    file-solar-panels-are-installed-at-a-photovoltaic-pv-power-plant-of-panda-green-group-in-yongsheng-county-lijiang-city-southwest-chinas-yunnan-W791HM.jpg

    ………………

How do solar panels keep your home cool? It all has to do with the way they are designed. Solar panels are made up of a series of individual cells that are placed behind a thin layer of glass. The cells are usually made of silicon, which is a material that is very good at reflecting light.

When the sun’s rays hit the solar panels, most of the energy is reflected away from the cells and back out into the atmosphere. This helps to keep your home cooler by reducing the amount of heat that enters through the roof.

BBC still trying to give us the impression that a young black man, unarmed, had his life taken away by a dangerous, probably racist police officer.

Why say ‘unarmed’ when the car was being used a lethal weapon…and why say the ‘police claimed he was using it to ram his way out’…..it wasn’t a claim…it was fact…video evidence, eye witnesses and the court case clearly showed he was using the vehicle to ram his way out.

Why does the BBC still not tell us the full truth about Kaba, a violent and dangerous gangster, instead of feeding us the lies that his family get the BBC to promote?

Why doesn’t the BBC tell the truth about this latest effort to lynch the officer in order to appease the Black mob?

‘We don’t care’: A defiant China looks beyond Trump’s America
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwy7jdn09lxo

Goodness me – it’s official : China does not care about losing the USA market. You heard it here on the BBC first. No doubt an official government statement will be issued soon.

Oh, wait. It’s not the general Chinese opinion. It’s just that of someone at a toy market in China called ‘Hu Tianqiang’.

Then they find a Mr ‘Yiwu’:
‘But things have changed here since Trump’s first trade war against China, which kicked off in 2018. It taught Yiwu a lesson, summed up by Mr Hu: “Other countries have money too!”‘

So it’s all fine from the BBC. China will just send all their goods to ‘other countries’.

Possibly the most disingenuous, dishonest article I’ve seen from the BBC for at least a few days now. They are coming thick and fast since Trump got elected.

They have deliberately gone to a toy market to find anti-Trump quotes. And of course the BBC just make them up if they don’t get the ones they want : this trick of finding ‘anonymous’ sources with fake names has been used many times in Gaza now.

Perhaps the BBC clone should have mentioned the new ‘anti-dumping’ laws the EU have been passing to give the article some kind of balance.

Here’s the BBC’s evidence of just how bad Trump is:
‘”The tariffs are taking a hatchet to small businesses across America,” Jonathan Cathey, who owns a toy company in Los Angeles, told the BBC over the phone.’
‘”The entire toy industry could go under. We are looking at the total implosion of the supply chain. It’s going to get really ugly,” he warns.’

And how the f*ck did the BBC end up talking to a suitably negative toy shop owner in Los Angeles ?. And how does he know what’s going on across all America ?. Just a random shop from a phone book or a deliberate plant ?. Or – more likely – another fake.

Note: not ‘might get really ugly’ say the BBC, IT IS going to get really ugly.

Amazing what you can get away with writing when you pretend it’s just what someone else said. This trick has worked well in Gaza : they got away with it. So now they have expanded it to other big agenda topics. Just like they did when the ‘live feed’ trick saw off several big-name Tories.

100% standard BBC output these days from clone who look just like this:
    laura-bicker.jpeg.256x256_q100_crop-smart.jpg
