    Lucy Powell’s reply to the dog whistle and trumpet (sounds like a good pub) remarks is just the usual stuff cobbled up by her advisors and lawyers to get her out of this situation.
    It’s the best they could come up with after a days worth of getting an excuse out to say she didn’t mean it.
    A bit like Jess Phillips statement saying she has done ever so much for rape gang victims.

    It’s like those complaint replies which are all too common and start off with ‘We take your complaint seriously….’ etc.
    Nobody believes any of it.

    We see these replies all the time on GB News where it comes on the screen in a blue box and the show host has to read it out. I don’t watch bbbc news but do they have these blue box replies after almost every item. I can’t remember them appearing but it’s been a while since I watched bbbc.

    The effect they have reminds me of after a radio advert where the advertiser reads out the terms and conditions at breakneck speed where nobody can take anything in and it’s meaningless. Something like Matthew Laza (lefty GBN guest) on speed.

    Just watched Elizabeth 1st the Golden Age. Spanish Armada set off from Lisbon with 10,000 men plus a further 15,000 men in barges on the French coast waiting to sail to Tilbury then onwards up the Thames. We had at most 4000 bodies to fight in retaliation. This was 1588. 2025 with every possible technology and no-one wants to stop the thousands of alien enemies a week popping across in speedboats …..

    ….how do they manage to not mention who these crime gangs are and just how Sweden, that paragon of peace and love, turned into a violent, crime ridden hell-hole so quickly?

    Just another version of the race ‘omerta’ put in place for the rape gangs here…and still in place if Labour have their way…..such a dog-whistle to mention the real problem.

    The telegraph is keeping the dog whistle story going – by getting some responses from victims of paki Muslim paedo racist rape gangs – 10 Mohammed street will be looking for distractions – … maybe they’ll mouth off about the Iranian Muslim terrorists – or maybe not ….

    The usual tribal stuff – meanwhile anyone who has been the victim of paki rape gangs will just look on …at the sheer vileness of it …. Even those labour MPs who know the stance is wrong will have to join in – to support their Muslim voters …

      It will be interesting if he does.

      Was noisy once but ran foul of the Tory blob in the Cameron era.

      Since then goes to football matches in Hereford and posts himself there. That’s about it.

      Got back in as all the alternatives were actually worse.
