      Where is his right to reply to the extreme criticism being levelled against him by the Robinson putting words in Bidens mouth for him as he has trouble doing it himself, and bitter Biden reeling after being unceremoneously dumped ?.

      I just listened to Robinson making the BBC’s propaganda line on NATO -then saying ‘is that your concern ?’.

      Absolutely ridiculous.

      The concern SHOULD be that NATO is no longer a defensive organisation. It has been hijacked as an offensive political organisation and is no longer fit for purpose. It is meant to stop WW3, not start it. I’ll guarantee that is not mentioned anywhere in that interview.

    Not BBC but one of those stories where you have to play detective .
    A few weeks ago a couple ‘youths ‘ dropped a huge chair of the top floor of Westfield in newhamistan – previously known as Stratford E15 ( avoid at all costs )

    Everyone said if anyone was hit by it they’d be deaded.

    Anyway a short report yesterday said 2 yoofs appeared in court – but the case could not go ahead because both sets of parents required interpreters …. So now you know …..

    Although I have a home in NE London i avoid Stratford – newham – like the plague – I don’t know any Urdu or Farsi or whatever – so wouid be in trouble if – as a white minority -I needed help after being stabbed – mugged ….

    The India Pakistan conflict is decades old. The battlefield is in the Himalayas, there’s more casualties from the altitude, cold, avalanches and terrain than actual battle injuries. It’s as serious a battlefield as they come, no picnic.
    There’s a story of a charge which failed due to all the weapons being frozen up.

    A question which has troubled me , or confused me, for the last three or four decades is, ‘ do liberals believe what they preach?’

    For the past ten or so years I believed the answer was no, they simply spouted their nonsense to advertise their virtue , to go along to get along as the Americans put it , to follow the fashion etc etc.

    But recent events have made me reconsider.

    The Powell outburst revealed her true colours , she really does put community relations before white working class girls. Surely no Labour politician looking for votes would ever say such a thing for political reasons. It was a Brownian moment , when Gordon spoke what he felt about bigoted white people thinking that the Mike was off. What Powell said was from the heart not the brain.

    Starmer’s reaction to the Runcorn by election and local election results , ‘ The message is people want us to go further and faster’ , when the very opposite is clearly the case.

    Every liberal commentator puts anger at mass immigration way down the list of reasons why Labour is so unpopular. They even go so far as to say that defending the borders is an extremist position and is not supported by British people .

    So I have changed my view, liberals really do believe the rubbish that they spout and they are not saying it for political gain. That makes them even more dangerous, they are fanatics.

    Just back from an enjoyable little ramble through the beautiful north downs. I know that I’m lucky living here, but this really is a wonderful country if you only have the time to look…

    These days I try to avoid the news. It’s nearly all agenda driven propaganda…like the way last week’s warm weather was reported. “Record breaking temperatures”…”Water shortages”…”BEWARE!”

    As my wee dog and I wandered the hills and woods I was thinking about two of England’s finest poets, the great Shakespeare and Robert Browning.
    Browning’s Home Thoughts From Abroad is one of my favourites. I always think of it at this time of the year. In the second verse he’s eulogising May-time in England;
    “And though the fields look rough with hoary dew, all will be gay when noontime wakes anew, the buttercups, the little children’s dower. Far brighter than this gaudy melon flower.”

    And of course Bill also mentions May in his most famous sonnet;
    “Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May”

    Well, 180 years after Browning penned his little masterpiece, the buttercups are still brightening this May morning. They didn’t bloom if March or April, they’re out just as Browning hoped they would be.
    And over 400 years since Shakespeare wrote sonnet 18, the darling buds are still being buffeted by a decidedly chilly breeze.

    Yes, I’m a simple chap, but as far as I can see, nothing drastic has happened to the climate. Despite all the hyperbole and hysterics, the weather is doing the same as it did in Shakespeare’s day and all our native flora is emerging right on cue.

    And on that positive note…I’ve got some weeding to attend to.

      We are lucky here in the South East, despite some of the larger towns becoming pretty dire!

      As for weeding, it’s just too cold to be out doing that at the moment, but the dog and I are always a team early in the morning, when the world’s nearly all our own!

      I purposely didn’t look at any news first thing today, and caught up a bit later on. The anti-President Trump stories are all over the BBC’s website like herpes, and all the euphoria I had from an early walk dissipated in just a few minutes.

      Someone should really take them out of their far-left comfort zone, and demand some decent, unbiased reporting for a change. They’re a national disgrace and an embarrassment!

Biden may have treated Zelensky nicely in the White House but every plea for battle-winning weapons was met by months of procrastination and delay. That included tanks, ATACMS long-range missiles and F16 combat planes, all of which, if delivered rapidly and in sufficient quantities, could have turned the tide.

    Furthermore, every offensive weapon that was provided was grudgingly handed over with the caveat that it couldn’t be used against targets on Russian soil, a restriction only partially eased late last year.

    With Putin launching assault after assault from his side of the border, that really did force Ukraine to fight with one hand tied behind its back. And it was all down to appeasement and fear in the White House in the face of never-ending bombast from the Kremlin.

    Biden rejected Trump’s attacks on European Nato members freeloading on the US, fantastically claiming that “it saves us money overall.” If anything, Trump’s bullying of Nato leaders into paying their dues will strengthen the alliance. Biden’s record is the opposite, bringing Nato to a lower point than at any time since its creation after the Second World War.

    It began with his catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Not only was that one of the worst military humiliations the US has ever known, it also resoundingly demonstrated Nato’s impotence. Despite efforts by Britain to persuade other alliance members to remain in place, there was not a single taker. And that display of weakness on both sides of the Atlantic encouraged Putin to launch his full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

    Today Nato is staring down the barrel of yet another defeat. Despite repeated public commitments to the defence of Ukraine, it has shown its powerlessness during three years of war as Russia continues to push forward on European soil.

    Nor was Biden’s appeasement confined to Europe. Right at the beginning of his presidency he cancelled Trump’s terrorist designation of the Houthis in Yemen and sought to weaken Saudi Arabia, one of their main targets. That strengthened and encouraged the terrorist group and led to repeated attacks on Red Sea shipping, again met only by a feeble military response from Biden.

    His approach towards the Houthis was part of the administration’s wider efforts to appease Iran in a desperate and unsuccessful bid to return to Obama’s disastrous JCPOA nuclear deal. Biden relieved sanctions on Iran and allowed the ayatollahs access to $16 billion of frozen assets. His policies contributed to Hamas’s October 7 invasion of Israel, part of an Iranian plan, and the wider war that followed.

    Biden warned that the Trump administration would cause Europe to “lose confidence” in the US. Perhaps it will, but his own administration has already gravely undermined trust among American allies around the world, under the calculating eyes of its enemies, not least President Xi in China.
