How does Norway have significantly cheaper energy. They don’t seem to have this problem. I know they also have Hydroelectric power but they take lots of oil from the North Sea. They also put the profits into their pension system unlike our lot who simply wasted it (or worse)
I happened to think about the Brexit vote this morning and I remember a lot of contacts on things like Facebook unfriended me when they found out I supported Brexit.
I know of other Brexit voters who have had similar reactions from their Remainer (lefty) friends.
On the other hand I cannot recall ANY of my Remainer friends being unfriended by Brexit supporters.
No surprise really as lefties do a lot of hating (and virtue signalling)

I am wondering whether the UK really will run out of power this winter – i read that Norway might not be able to export electricity to us – and that French nuclear isn’t in a good way either – does Britain have capacity on a cold day with no wind and all the benefits junkies at home thinking other people will pay their energy bills ? Then the power goes off ?

She said “I’m not apologising to anybody” and accuses the police officer of wasting their time on her. “Are there no houses that have been burgled recently? No rapes, no murders… why aren’t you out there investigating those,” she tells the officer. “I haven’t broken any laws so you’re going to be wasting your time when you can be instead doing things that are more important.” She added: “I’m a cancer patient. You can see that because I’m bald… I’m a woman living on my own, who has never broken a law in her life.”
When Thames Valley Police found out that she was an American Citizen and a Trump supporter, they backed off, and said no further action would be taken.
