Tony Blair is in discussions to run a British lead UN transitional authority. The proposal, which is said to have the backing of Donald Trump, would see Blair lead a British UN mandate to be Gaza’s supreme political and legal authority for five years, before handing control back to Palestine. In August, he joined a White House meeting with Trump to discuss plans for the territory, which US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff described as “very comprehensive” – though little else was disclosed about the meeting. Today, the British Empire in the Mediterranean includes Akrotiri and Dhekelia and Gibraltar. The last time Britain ruled over Gaza was in 1948: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3drmk95xlzo

    genius

▪️Zero-hours banned – brilliant, if you want to block students and temporary workers. Pubs, shops, hospitals, care homes forced to staff on guarantees they can’t afford. Result = fewer jobs, fewer hours, more closures.

▪️Day-one dismissal rights – businesses will stop hiring. Every new employee becomes a legal risk.

▪️Fire & rehire outlawed – companies lose flexibility to adapt contracts in tough times. Outcome just more redundancies.

▪️Harassment liability by customers – employers punished for things their customers say. You won’t even be able to have a dissident opinion in a pub, let alone online.

▪️Flexible working on demand – no business can operate like this.

▪️Collective consultation widened – owners must consult staff before any workforce change, while carrying all the financial risk themselves.

This Bill will suffocate business, halt investment, reduce jobs, force closures, and push unemployment up. The incompetence really is staggering and then they clapped 🤡

  6. Doublethinker says:

Yesterday Kamal Ahmed , ex BBC now Telegraph, wrote a piece in which he claimed that voters still placed the economy and NHS far ahead of immigration in their list of concerns.
I suppose given his background he might actually believe this but that does require that he only consumes news from the legacy media and lives in a bubble surrounded by an impenetrable force field.
Or , more likely , he is just another of the commentariat who is trying to convince the voters that they , the voters , truly don’t care about immigration, all the while knowing that it is easily the number one political issue.
The gulf between the commentariat and the people grows ever wider . Either they are all living inside Kamal’s protected bubble and never venture out or they desperately trying to resist the populist forces that Trump has unleashed . I suspect the latter.
History tells that elites always resist change which threatens their privileges and power. But resistance by force is a risky strategy in the modern world where ideas spread much more quickly and easily than in the past. If the elite loses the retribution can be swift and savage. Far better to adapt to the new political paradigm and accept that your day as top dog is over and move with the times.
I do hope that the elite realises this.

That character just sings the acceptable tune – but like those who label reform as enemy / racist and therebye excuse themselves fron thinking about unpleasant things like the invasion and the inevitable solution ….

The invasion – and the loss of national identity – is the number one issue – anyone who thinks it’s something else is deluded . . Someone with a name like Ahmed cannot have a truly british national identity ….

      Excellent points, Doubles!

Whatever happened to ‘The Daily Telegraph’?

It used to be the ‘normal’ paper for decent British citizens to read, after they’d progressed beyond the Daily Sketch, the Mail, and The Express!

My dad read ‘The Times’, and I even started to do the same (sixpence old money), when I saw my colleague pillocks at work read ‘The Mail’, so I could just be ‘different’, and even my boss seemed somewhat fazed, (sixties Mail readers weren’t the same as they are now)…

Senora O’Blene had countless subscriptions with ‘The Daily Telegraph’, in fact, we all did – including my dad, who emigrated from ‘The Times’ for some reason, but who really cares about them all nowadays, when there’s so much more information online, and places like here, to digest the real ‘feel’ of the country!

The bBC has gone so far left, that it is insufferable, and mostly unreadable, although I do like some of their recipes, and that’s about it!

Sad really, but like the UK Inc’s political failures, the bBC are just a poignant sign of the deterioration of the values of the indigenous British race.

When I worked in London, some forty years ago, I started reading the Financial Times. It had less articles about Mrs Jones’ dog being chased up a tree by Mr Green’s cat (or do I mean vice versa?) or which actress had gone off with which actor. The FT had excellent theatre and classical concert reviews, and its political comment came from a financial viewpoint. Then it got too expensive, possibly 45p a day but I could be corrected on the price.

Mother to be charged with murdering three children
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1mxkr37r8do

I was slightly shocked at the brevity and matter-of-factness for such an article where the BBC are usually using it as an excuse for their fake empathy porn.

So I took a look and it is another short ‘basic facts’ only piece. But they do manage to find space for this:

‘”It’s vitally important we allow the court process to continue unhindered and we’d respectfully ask people to refrain from speculation and consider the impact of commentary on those who are continuing to mourn the tragic loss of three children.”‘

So keep your mouth shut whitey. There is clearly more to this story and they want it kept quiet.

It is all explained when you see the children who got murdered:

Here is Google AI on the subject:

Q: what payment cards do illegal migrants get given in the UK?

Aspen Cards. The Aspen card is a prepaid card given by Migrant Help. Asylum seekers get money on this card every week to buy what they need. The Aspen card works like a regular Visa debit card and can be used in many shops and restaurants.

I was having a few drinks with some pals the other day, and while I paid by a ‘tapping’, they both offered cash to the bartender, explaining to me that ‘if we don’t use it, we’ll lose it’! That could be a possibility as a cashless society is a far-left concept when they can monitor every transaction at Marxist People’s Palaces everywhere!

Maybe small shop keepers are also tired of so much shop-lifting and violent theft – I know I would be!

I like the idea of a magic money tree though – doesn’t Corbyn grow those somewhere or other? I know Thieves has a key, but the rouble is, it’s still attached to my personal key-ring!

GOWDY: The Greeks gave us democracy and then warned us about how to lose it. Human nature, the arrogance of Narcissus, the hubris of Icarus. Jim Comey personifies both.

The first FBI director to be indicted because he thinks the rules don’t apply to him, or worse yet, that he gets to make the rules. He is smitten with himself, consumed with sanctimony and piety. In 2016, he investigated both presidential candidates, but the similarities end there.

With Hillary Clinton, he drafted her exoneration memo before she was even interviewed. Her lawyers were given questions ahead of time. He broke DOJ protocol, announcing his non-charging decision because he believed he alone possessed the requisite moral authority, never mind the leaks, the duplicity, policy, procedure, the failure to investigate.

With Donald Trump, Comey did not like him, so he opened an investigation based on a rumor, expanded it based on Clinton campaign material, misled a FISA court and assigned Peter Strzok, who said he could smell Trump supporters.

Trump won anyway, but Comey still thought he knew better than the voters, so he cast a cloud over the Trump presidency with leaks and lies. Of all the wrong Jim Comey did, this is what got him indicted.

    (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SEN. TED CRUZ (R-TX): Now, as you know, Mr. McCabe, who works for you, has publicly and repeatedly stated that he leaked information to “The Wall Street Journal” and that you were directly aware of it, and that you directly authorized it. Now, what Mr. McCabe is saying and what you testified to this committee cannot both be true. One or the other is false. Who’s telling the truth?

JAMES COMEY, FORMER FBI DIRECTOR: I can only speak to my testimony. I stand by what — the testimony you summarized that I gave in May of 2017.

    (END VIDEO CLIP)

GOWDY: False statement cases can be hard to prove, especially if Andy McCabe is your star witness. Comey is presumed innocent, an axiom he never applied to Donald Trump. Ultimately, a Virginia jury will decide Comey’s fate. But there are other juries like you and history and the truth.

The Greeks were right. What undoes government by the people is power in the hands of the wrong people, people like Jim Comey.

The selective outrage by the Left and the way they totally ignore anything which doesn’t suit their anti-Right agenda is all you need to realise they are the most monstrous double-standard hypocrites.

They don’t give a shit how horribly people suffer or die if they can’t use it for their own agenda. Once you realise that, you realise just what nasty, evil scum the ones who start the stories really are.

The majority though are just clueless idiots swept along by the groupthink and unable to put it into context. I don’t gree with JK Rowling on much – but saying Emma Watson was ‘too ignorant to realise how ignorant she is’ sums them up perfectly.

The BBC are so consumed by their hatred of the Right and especially Trump, they simply cannot write an article about Trump without trying to sneer or insult him in some way.

Trump texts McIlroy – Europe troll US President in reply
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/articles/c07v0dmgjezo

So I wondered what this new development was where ‘Europe trolled Trump’:

‘To troll someone means to intentionally provoke a negative emotional reaction in others by posting offensive, inflammatory, or irrelevant comments online.’

They did nothing of the sort : it was banter with a fellow golfer. There was no intent to provoke a negative reaction and Trump replied ‘ “Yes, I’m watching. Congratulations!”.

This is 100% BBC : they chip away constantly with negative edges to anything against their far-Left agenda and positive notes for anything for it. And it’s so consistent across their entire output, it’s most definitely some form of instruction from the politicial direction team (or commissars to give them their proper title).

Other increases – private pension tax free bit reduces by —- 5% ? VAT on private health insurance – general insurance tax increases – gambling tax – booze – vapes /fags – petrol – airline tax – council tax allowed to go up more – – its all they can do to avoid the IMF for a while –

Do you think places like building sites keep extra large hard hats for when politicians visit.
Every time you see them pretending to be interested in some project or other they have a hard hat on which looks to be about 10 sizes too big for them.
The site managers all look to have hard hats which fit.

The sleeves thing is odd. Apparently you have to roll your sleeves up and tuck your tie in to prevent infection. All politicians have to do it. But no-one else. I have visited hospitals many times and never been asked to do it. It’s just another piece of performance art.

‘I can kill and not be convicted’: The Ukrainian convicts swapping jail for the battlefield
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgjk8z47gko

Inside are Andrii Askerov and Roman Chech: both convicted drug dealers who’ve managed to come up with early escape routes.

They’ve successfully applied to join the ranks of the Ukrainian army. They will go through a month’s training, and, in exchange for being released, will fight “until the war is over”.

“I have skills too,” chuckles Oleksii. “I know how to kill. Only here I won’t be convicted for it.”

By the admission of the soldiers who oversee the convicts, these men will need “great luck” to survive until the end of the war. Yet they seemingly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

“There’s a huge difference: the Russians are paid per hundred metres, and Ukrainians are driven by patriotic feelings,” he claims.

With the passing of time, motivated men are becoming harder for Ukraine to find. With peace ever-distant, its search will only go deeper.

From the Climate Skeptic today…. BBC claims RATS are causing Climate Change (or the vis-versa) obviously… its everything that lives, even the air (or humans breathing). Anyway the BBC finds a RAT EXPLOSION!!! Not far from BBC HQ.

“I smell a rat in the BBC’s claims of climate change ‘Ratmageddon’” – Rodent populations in the US and Britain have exploded, and the BBC inevitably blames climate change. But Ben Pile smells a rat. After all, there are much more likely explanations than slightly milder weather….

“If the law of the land is Islamic, we will respect the law of the land. If it’s not Islamic (the law) then the law of the land, and those who make them, can go to hell quite honestly.” – Anjem Choudary

“Oh my God!” – Stacey Dooley

“Because Allah says in the Koran Q33v1 ‘Fear Allah, and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Is David Cameron a Muslim of a disbeliever? Guys?” – Anjem Choudary

“Disbeliever!” – mumbles crowd of 5 other Muslims

“So you (a Muslim) can’t obey him (UK Law). So he (David Cameron) can go to hell.” – Anjem Choudary

The BBC’s worst nightmare…a peace deal negotiated by Trump and Hamas gone. How will the BBC be able to demonise the Jews now!? How can they disrupt the peace talks as they did once before?

Maybe they can get Hamas to fire a rocket into a hospital and Bowen and Myrie can come out and proclaim ‘It was the Israelis…they’ve killed hundreds and utterly destroyed the hospital’….oh…hang on…they’ve already done that.

‘BBC international editor Jeremy Bowen has admitted his coverage of the alleged bombing of a hospital in Gaza was “wrong” but still said he “doesn’t regret one thing” about his reporting.

Speaking in a television interview, the veteran reporter said he was incorrect to have suggested Al-Ahli hospital “was flattened” in an explosion on Oct 17.

Stories on the blast were a key flashpoint in controversy over the reporting on the war between Israel and Hamas.

News of the incident disrupted US president Joe Biden’s visit to the Middle East, with the cancellation of a summit in Jordan where he had been due to meet Arab leaders.’

    ‘Blood and Land’

The Labour Welsh government is pushing its own ethno-nationalism as it drives an attempt to rename land and locations in Welsh…in order that communities can maintain their connection to the land of their fathers….cultural heritage is apparently very important…unless you’re English…then you’re a far-right, racist, ethno-nationalist, paki-bashing skin-headed divisive bigot.
