Match of the Day viewing figures plummet after Gary Lineker’s BBC exit
    DT today:

Exclusive: Flagship football programme suffers 10 per cent decrease in television ratings compared to this time last season.
“Match of the Day has shed hundreds of thousands of viewers since Gary Lineker was axed by the BBC.

Average television ratings for the corporation’s flagship football programme have plunged by more than 10 per cent so far this season compared to the same period a year ago, falling from 2.68m to 2.39m as viewers flood to the broadcaster’s new online highlights.

A show watched live by up to three million people on Saturday nights during Lineker’s last year as host even went close to dipping below two million viewers on one occasion.

Lineker left the BBC in May after sharing an anti-Semitic rat emoji on Instagram, the final straw for an employer which had repeatedly refused to sack a man who had tested its social-media and impartiality guidelines to breaking point.”
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/10/15/match-of-the-day-viewers-plummtet-gary-lineker-bbc-exit/

I must admit. I just don’t care about the BBC watching figures at at all for match of The Day.. They have ‘TRAITORS’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ to compensate. Not so long ago TOP GEAR used to have worldwide viewers exceeding 5 Million weekly with Jeremy Clarkson and team mates. Not Woke enough then! and now its all downhill for the BBC. I am sure the BBC would prefer Hue Edwards for his viewing figures given the choice.

Good point Stew. I’ve been pondering who is actually behind all these ‘protestors’ and their nihilistic madness, and cannot rationalise any thought as to why someone, who has so much money is out to denigrate the normality of ‘human life’.

There are plenty of antisemitic entrepreneurs, and also plenty of banks run by Jewish people – so what?

Uncertainty in any country’s misfortunes is always an opportunity to make eye-watering profits as we know, and our dear place must be a ready target for such evil financial gain, with the absolute failure of TTK’s socialist dogma ruining everything as it always does but the term ‘dark forces’, seems to be as good a reason as any to realise that our UK problems are never going to go away, although Reform’s next government will at least bring some commercial exposure of these unpleasant facts.

But I still don’t really understand what’s actually behind all this…

A lady called Sara white published the below on X today – I see it as an indication of the ‘process being the punishment’ – the CPS is a fully TTK instrument of state repression so – redolent of Eastern European regimes.

Today, I was due to appear in court under charges relating to Sections 11 and 12 of the Public Order Act 1986. I have never broken any laws. My arrest was brutal, my detention excessive, and my treatment unjust.

I have now received confirmation from the Crown Prosecution Service that there will be no further action taken against me due to insufficient evidence. The reason there is no evidence is simple: I did not commit a crime.

While I was being criminalised for standing up, a number of people — hiding behind screens — labelled me a “chav”, called me disgusting, and said I deserved to have my children taken from me. Where is their apology now? These trolls rushed to judge and to smear without knowing the facts. Get your facts straight before you start accusing somebody.

Those who choose to spread lies and attempt to destroy another person’s reputation are among the biggest threats to this country. They divide communities, silence voices, and feed the very corruption they claim to oppose.

It was also totally unacceptable that my personal address was released on the internet. That reckless act put both me and my family at risk and shows just how far some people will go to intimidate and endanger others.

This was an unlawful attempt to intimidate and silence ordinary people who dare to speak out. It is unacceptable that dissent is met with force and fear.

I will not be silenced. I will continue to stand up — for our freedoms, for women, for children, and for this countr

Much discussion of Israel’s cutting the aid into Gaza. Post TWaTO Watch. I istened to the Gwyneth Williams ‘filler’ from 1.45 p.m. That woman did a lot of damage to the schedule for Radio Flaw when she was the Station Controller – expanding TWaTO for an extra, unnecessary 15 minutes – abandoning the comedy, which kept listeners entertained, or abandoning the Panel Games and Quizzes which similarly entertained listeners. In their place we have an expanded TWaTO which often has to find a light, ‘fluffy’, filler for the extra time of TWaTO.

But my complaint really is to do with the Gwyneth filler as it often contains intrusive music which is very distracting. The current series of ‘Gwyneth filler’ is really interesting. It is about Seasonal Affective Disorder, an intesting subject as I do not like the winter gloom! It is narrated by Hayden Lorimer but I have another complaint about the series. It hops about between different locations – sometimes in Scotland – sometimes elsewhere.

DPD bent over backwards to assist me on getting a delivery to a lovely friend after I had cocked up the postcode – which is their preferred system for locating an address! The mistake had been discovered by lunchtime, the online suppliers kept me informed all the time, and the great DPD chap delivering the present managed to go back and start again – all in a matter of a couple of hours!

The group members were recruited from different branches of the Saudi forces, directing several areas of expertise.[15]

The five-member squad were also part of the 15-member death squad who assassinated Jamal Khashoggi.[15]

Simply unbelievable and Virginia wants to go to Hollywood edition

My prediction is that the furore over the China spy scandal will soon dissipate – it is the sort of unsexy scandal that the public hardly cares for – us plebs much prefer this sort of thing: ‘Andrew, Epstein and me’… Virginia Giuffre (then Roberts) aged 16, around the time that she met Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell (Telegraph)

Note the imprecision in the caption ‘around the time’. I’m afraid this is the problem with her version of events. And the problem with waiting decades to complain about some mistake you now reckon you made as a teenager. And despite the damning quotes from her postumously published book: ‘You did well.. the Prince had fun’ What vile Ghislaine told tragic Virginia (Sun) – inevitably the more starlet-like photos the press show us the more she looks like a youngster who was likely keen to grab that offer to rub shoulders with the rich and famous. …memoir Nobody’s Girl also tells of accuser’s excitement at first meeting the Duke of YorkTelegraph

‘…aged 16, around the time…’ – and now she would have the vote in Starmer’s Britain. But… it’s the sort of scandal we relish. And it will run and run and run.

We have all the clear identifiable dramatis personae:

    Vile Ghislaine (The Madam, the Procuerer);
    Tragic Virginia (the Ingénue, the Victim);
    The Wicked Prince: (‘saw sex with me as his birthright’, Virginia Giuffre’s book claimsTelegraph);
Jeffrey Epstein (the Financial Kingpin, the Lascivious Jew – Bank of America, Bank of New York sued for alleged ties to Jeffrey EpsteinAl Jazeera)

Meanwhile: Tory leader hits out at Starmer for ‘simply unbelievable’ collapse of spy trial… Kemi: It stinks of a China cover-up by PM (Express)

    The public ain’t interested, luv.

It’s left to the Guardian to rather blandly knock this one back: No 10 puts out spy witness statement

Let’s be honest – Starmer has told far bigger whoppers than his China fibs. And this scandal goes back to the Tory years: “Vast amounts” of sensitive information, including intelligence briefings, was penetrated by China in 2020 (Telegraph) – ultimately, this scandal and our self-inflicted economic reliance on China is a Uniparty issue.

Speaking of those formerly glorious Tory years…

One does relish those occasional close juxtapositions of features that put the lie to prevailing media narratives.

It’s a case of culture corner this morning as we turn to the lefty-approved entertainment ghetto that is the Guardian masthead, where we’re introduced to: Drag and drama… Welcome to Thatcher fest – You have to smile at the pic of a pair of chaps in the persona of striking miners – anti-Thatch placards, miners’ hard hats, shorty shorts & tight vests – auditioning for a part in either a Village People, Frankie Goes to Hollywood or a Pet Shop Boys video, perchance? There’s a few names for the teenagers.

Our Maggie is some bloke with some odd fetish in his Thatcher wig, pearls and Tory blue two-piece.

Grantham’s Thatcher Fest festival begins on Monday and includes talks by Edwina Currie and Gyles Brandreth, walking tours, exhibitions, a play, poetry and even a drag show. (BBC)

Of course the BBC’s write up has to come with a caution and the familiar ‘divisive’ tag: Thatcher 100th anniversary: Discord or harmony? “Like it or not she was born in Grantham and, like it or not, she was Britain’s first female prime minister,” says South Kesteven District Council leader Ashley Baxter. (BBC) – Maggie Marmite?

And the counterpoint to the Gruan’s scoffing focus on the drag act show?

In (likely accidental) proximity: Damiel Day Lewis ‘Theatre is an elitist art form for privileged people’ (Guardian)

And finally, inevitably… for all those Maggie fetishists out there… think about it, some people love Marmite.

An idea! how about a campaign to set up a binding system of compensation paid to anyone hauled in on any unfounded hate speech accusation subsequently thrown out. It should be set at a sufficient level to discourage any hint of aggravated or spurious action on any individual that is found to be spurious.

The level of compensation should take into account the discomfort of arrest and confinement plus additional amounts to cover for the publication of personal details which might prove to be a risk of attack by bad actors.

I think this might concentrate the minds of those involved in detaining random public at will.

The payment should not come from public funds but directly from the budgets of those carrying out the arrests.

Those making the decisions need to be individually named …. And publicly publish the reason for decision – in detail – not just ‘not in the public interest ‘ ….

… meanwhile TR is putting up YouTubes of the situation in 🇮🇱and shaming the TTK Islamic state of Britainistan …. Yoy watching 77 brigade ? Of course you all are …

All this fuss about not allowing women to take part in the so-called Islamic “fun-run”. What do people expect? Islam does not have to follow any laws made in Britain on sex discrimination and no one is going to force it to do that now. Does anyone think the equal rights commision is going to step in? And Labour who would be jumping up and down in rage if it was any other group will say nothing.

Ten new investigations have been launched into South Yorkshire Police’s past handling of child sexual abuse cases in Rotherham.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said the decision was made after complaint referrals from the force between July and September 2025.

South Yorkshire Police said it was “profoundly aware” of its previous failings and would support any investigation “to ensure victim survivors feel listened to”.

It’s an affliction which also used to apply to the now defunct conservatives, as they finished up in the same boat, but after fourteen years, not fourteen months!

Today the local plod have been seen removing firearms from the family home . Does this kid have a firearms certificate ? I understand there are pictures of him posing with an AK ….

Anyway – what would be the motivation for this kid to become so anti semitic ? Is it group think ? Grooming by other students or staff ? How many times has he witnessed what has gone on?
Is he just a nut job ?

Hopefully he will be charged abd mummy / daddy will buy an expensive Muslim defence lawyer and we will get some answers

The propaganda being thrown out every day by the BBC – And so many others – against 🇮🇱 and perpetual Palestine as victim might contribute to his mindset …

Some of the footage of what Islamic Hamas did on 7 October has made it carefully to the public domain . But a lot is still locked away from us.. I wonder if this is a good thing . Islamic Hamas is a savage organisation – but maybe too many westerners just don’t realise it – and the depths to which it went and will do again – if it gets the chance …

As others here have suggested – on the scale established in the sentencing of Lucy Connolly – upheld by the appeal court – this boy should be looking at 5 years if convicted – which – in TTK britainistan is unlikely to happen – indeed – who’d be surprised if a prosecution wasn’t found to be in the public interest…
I bet his arrest interview was ‘no reply’…

Pembury used to be a smallish village, plagued by the original A21, and now gladly by-passed. I know it very well, having spent many hours in traffic by The Camden Arms, (and having the occasional visit), working with several clients, meeting our solicitor and also having the varicose veins hooked out in the hospital there, (ouch), and for more serious reasons of late.

There are several really good grammar and comprehensive schools in Tunbridge Wells, and of course, Tonbridge School and Sevenoaks School are not far away! I know many children who have been to all of these places, and despite the term, ‘Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells’, it’s not that bad. The ‘Hospice in The Weald’ is a fantastic sanctuary for what they do best, and is my favoured charity.

This disgusting case puts the place on the map – for the wrong reasons!

(I just thought a bit of local knowledge might flesh out the ongoing story a little).
