Start the Week 20th October 2025

For those of a royal bent the big distraction this week will be a book by deceased ‘close acquaintance ‘ of prince andrew . Will the BBC default to its ‘respect ‘ for the Royals? Or go hard for him and his family?Meanwhile the ‘king?’ Will be going to the Vatican to ‘pray with the Pope ‘… really .

Why is the dusky wife-beater still showing up on repair shop repeats when Greg Wallace and John Torode have been sent to the gulags and erased from history for some loose words?

I gave up on the Repair Shop when I realised it had become all about the back story and not about the repair. In the early days the repairers were filmed showing how the repair was done and how they approached the task. I think my final straw was when some cheap pottery rabbit was repaired but the owner who brought it in came with his husband to collect the item and of course there were lots of tears. A friend said it had returned to its roots but when I tried again to watch it was still all about why the item was dear to its owner.

Great British Bake Off suffered a similar fate. It was lovely when it was a competition about baking scones but the baking became more about the artwork (the show stopper being a cake that was worthy of display in the National Gallery rather than something to eat) and the decision which contestant was to go through based on their entertainment value or ethnicity rather than their baking skills.

I saw just one. They restored a rocking horse someones dad had made. Dad had passed away and when she removed the saddle, he had signed his name on it underneath.

Instant blubbing for the camera. She never even knew him – but they had made a huge thing out of it being ‘to remember her dad’.

        Never watched another.

What a truly vile woman that is. Absolutely typical of a Lefty who has no interest in the truth. All she wants is to be nasty.

Here’s a video Tommy was talking about – and you need to remember how the BBC with it’s awful reporters such as Bowen, Keane and Yoalnda Kbell is protecting those people who did this atrocity by hiding the facts and implying blame on Israel for everything which happens.

The Left truly are the most disgusting people. All they care about is their own anti-Right agenda. They don’t give a shit who died or how horribly. It is an ideology motivated by hate.

Doesn’t add up? Perp, a foreign male (and no-doubt detectable by accent) using the regular English name of a female……………

Perhaps that’s why Surkeer wants all to possess an ID Card which, apparently, if anyone bothers to check, will confirm validity. Or not. Good to see that the “System” is hopeless and common sense has all but evaporated.

Perhaps those who are being held responsible for the debacle, considered they would be considered “Racist” if they challenged the black male masquerading as a white female…………

Giuffre thought she might ‘die a sex slave’ at hands of Epstein and his circle, memoir reveals
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1e3leqx89zo

No BBC, she WROTE that she thought that. In a book she was planning to make cash from since she lost her looks and and source of income from sex. Of course she sensationalised it.

But in the world of books written by activists, the BBC seem to think it’s OK to reproduce whatever they wrote as front-page headlines despite there being no evidence whatsoever that it’s true. If the BBC don’t like it they add ‘without providing evidence’ to make us doubt it.

But only for agenda topics of course : anyone who slags Trump down is guaranteed front-page billing without any consideration of grudges they might bear.

Tel Aviv derby called off by police after ‘violent riots’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cgr4n07509wo

This immediately began to stink of BBC agenda when I realised they weren’t going to give me any details of the cause of these riots.

And it took a fair bit of browsing around to discover where it started:

‘A fragile calm hangs over the Dutch capital, still reeling from the unrest that erupted a week ago when Israeli football fans came under attack in the centre of Amsterdam.
City officials described the violence as a “toxic combination of antisemitism, hooliganism, and anger” over the war in Gaza, Israel and elsewhere in the Middle East.’

Left-wing racism. Again. Which the BBC NEVER call out for what it is. Because they are institutionally racist themselves.

Tributes paid to ‘devoted’ father stabbed to death
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c986y55jl34o

Another BBC article where a violent murder by stabbing is almost inconsequential and not even worth mentioning except very briefly at the start of the article.

It seems the BBC think the important part of this story is what a good man he was and gushing empathy for his family.

Perhaps his picture will give us a clue why and also a clue to what the murderer might look like as most people like stabbed are stabbed by someone who looks similar.

    e5308460-ad01-11f0-aa13-0b0479f6f42a.jpg.webp

It’s quite amazing to me that the BBC deliberately don’t want to admit who are doing crimes like this from the public because it doesn’t match their far-Left agenda.

Kaye Adams taken off BBC radio show after conduct complaint
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwyp84lerxlo

Another one where they don’t tell us anything so my interest was perked and tried to find out:

‘Google says bullying just now and I quite believe it from her.’

‘Her radio show is all her deliberately being obtuse to call-in listeners and pretending to not understand their points
She’ll say “so you’re saying “ and then reply miscommunicating and twisting their words
It’s outrageous she has a show at all ‘

‘Met her in person and she was right a mardy arse so can totally believe this. Commented on a thread a while back on here re nasty celebrities, her name came up a good few times.’

‘Back in the 90’s she was doing a report of an oncology unit in Ayrshire where my mum was receiving treatment for breast cancer. She wanted a shot of all the patients in the lounge area which was part of the suite in the hospital to make it more homely. When certain patients refused, she got angry but eventually seemed to accept it. When the patients were called through for dinner the cameras were already set up and running to film them all coming in the door without their permission. This included people at various stages of difficult treatment, some of whom had weeks/months left to live and were not wanting to be seen on television. She’s one of the only people in the world that my mum hates. Kaye Adams is a foul human being’

100% standard BBC then. Right out of the Maitliss mould.

I do notice that it’s fine to use anonymous civil servants to run the successful ‘live update’ scam over several days when they accused Raab of bullying and got rid of him – but when it’s their own, they hide it.

India sparkles as millions celebrate Diwali festival (Cherylann Mollan, BBC)

These confederate statues caused nationwide protests. Melted down, they’re now art pieces (Regan Morris, BBC) – more museum quality news later…

Chancellor says Brexit deal caused long-term damage to economy (Faisal Islam, Economics editor, BBC) – well, that’s her story and she’s sticking to it. And there we were thinking the problem was that ‘£22 billion Tory Black Hole’?

Bankers on edge, a gilded cash room and US blaming China – my week with global finance elite (Faisal Islam, Economics editor, BBC) – who’s a busy boy then?

China will soon have a new Five Year Plan. Here’s how they have changed the world so far… China’s top leaders are gathering in Beijing this week to decide on the country’s key goals and aspirations for the rest of the decade. “Western policy works on election cycles, but Chinese policy making operates on planning cycles,” says Neil Thomas, a fellow in Chinese politics at the Asia Society Policy Institute. (Nick Marsh, BBC) – do we detect a somewhat air of whistfulness?

Following on from: The Pink Ball… the British Museum’s ultra-glam fundraising gala? The gala boasts an impressive organisation committee, with names like Naomi Campbell, Stephen Fry and Idris Elba (Evening Standard – all the main boxes ticked there)

Today we have: Heist at the museum… Chainsaw gang steals priceless Napoleonic jewels from Louvre (Daily Mail)

Gone in seven minutes: brazen Louvre gang grab priceless jewels (Guardian)

The Louvre Museum in Paris has been forced to close while police investigate a brazen heist which targeted France’s priceless crown jewels… in broad daylight, before escaping on scooters… One witness described scenes of “total panic” as the museum was evacuated… (BBC) – perhaps they should put Inspector Clouseau on the job? There’s one for the teenagers.

Of course our own British Museum can’t be too smug over their security: Why no one may ever be charged over the British Museum thefts… the case of Peter Higgs, the curator sacked following the disappearance of priceless artefacts (Telegraph)

With a new director and revised security measures, the museum has been busy moving on from the scandal… it was claimed that during a period starting no later than 2009 and continuing until at least 2018 the curator stole more than 1,800 items from the strongroom of the Greek and Roman department. At the time, the chair of the trustees, George Osborne, perhaps prematurely, told the BBC that he was “100% certain we’ve got our man”… Among the missing gold jewellery and gems dating back 3,500 years and detailed in court particulars were pieces thought to be worth several thousand pounds each, but they were sold, often on eBay, for small amounts of money. In total it’s thought the sales realised no more than a £100,000… Talking to officials at the museum, though, is a bit like speaking to executives at the BBC: there is the same understandable desire to avoid controversy… Like the BBC, the British Museum carries the considerable weight of national status, a burden that has grown increasingly onerous in the era of postcolonial reassessment… It’s almost two years since he was sacked and there are no signs that charges are imminent, and nor has he accounted for his alleged actions. The Metropolitan police tell me that there are “no updates” on the investigation. (Observer, June 2025) – file that one with the government grooming gangs inquiry.

Somehow I can’t seems to get that scene from the movie Raiders Of The Lost Ark our of my mind – you know the one – when the crated Ark is put away somewhere within that vast warehouse that stores all the thousands of crated top secret artifacts.

Our national institutions, proud curators of our national treasures, eh?

The only way is lettuce… It’s official. The Daily Star’s Lettuce Liz is an iconic piece of history that will be preserved for generations to come. Our video of the 60p Tesco lettuce that outlasted the Prime Minister Liz Truss has been immortalised in the BFI National Archive (Daily Star)

We can all see that the continued rise of Reform in the polls indicates a growing rejection of both Labour and the Conservatives and the politics of the Uniparty.
But we also know that a Reform government will be strongly opposed by the unelected elitist Blob and will find it hard to make fundamental changes to the way that the country is run eg restoring the supremacy of the elected Parliament .
The Labour, Conservative and Lib Dems are like the fruiting bodies of fungi , the mushrooms appear above ground and catch the eye but the mycelium, the Blob, the true body of the fungus, is underground and is never seen.

the government will also invest nearly £800m extra into funding for 16–19-year-olds next year (2026-7). Coming from the existing Spending Review settlement, this funding will support an additional 20,000 students.

    It weren’t us guv… but we’ll take the criticism…

It said that Ofcom’s findings were in line with its internal review that found “significant failing” following its own accuracy guidelines. It said it would accept the penalty.

The documentary was narrated by Abdullah, the 13-year-old son of Ayman Alyazouri, who worked as Hamas’ deputy agriculture minister.

The BBC said that the independent production company, Hoyo Films, bore the most responsibility for the failure because it didn’t share the background information regarding the narrator’s father. Hoyo Films apologised for the lapse.

The BBC received hundreds of complaints alleging that the documentary was biased against Israel, as well as hundreds more criticising the programme’s removal from its streaming service, Director General Tim Davie told lawmakers earlier this year.

A group of 500 media figures, including directors Ken Loach and Mike Leigh and actor Riz Ahmed, signed a letter published by Artists for Palestine UK saying a “political” campaign to discredit the programme risked dehumanising Palestinian voices in the media.

Scrolling along the bottom of the news, Reeves says Brexit caused 4% long term hit to the UK economy.

I don’t know why they come out with these things.
    Nobody believes anything they say.
It goes in one ear and out the other.

    It wasn’t always like this.
For me it started with the spin doctors. Getting a bit of news and ‘spinning’ it to make it sound the way you want it to sound or getting some figures and manipulating them to make it appear how you want.
    Take inflation.
Now there’s RPI and CPI and both are made to look less than real inflation which we all know is much higher than they tell us it is.
Nobody believes any immigration numbers because they are fiddled and picked apart to show that immigration is out of/under control depending on who is saying it.

I used to believe the government in the days of Harold Macmillan and the politicians of those days. I used to believe the BBC News in those days before they had an agenda.
Now you can take any announcement with a pinch of salt because they all talk shite.

Is there any news channel that tells the truth. I think GB News is the nearest to that but for all the rest you can bin the lot.

Wouldn’t it be something for a genuine honest impartial news source to come out with all the real figures. The real inflation number and not the manipulated ones. Real immigration numbers and real every other numbers that the governments have made meaningless by lying, spinning and selective use of data.
Something like Verify but one that told the truth instead of fiddling news, pretending they are checking the facts but are really just an extra layer of propaganda.

Reform have a huge task ahead of them in 2029 (or earlier please)
