‘Avoiding comment and speculation’ resulted in the rape gangs, the London stabbings, the ‘nationality’ of illegal foreigners – the list goes on…

The term ‘Home Secretary’ doesn’t really apply to her does it – it certainly doesn’t fill me with any hope for a safe home.

      Not my Home Secretary.

Okay, so we will avoid comments and speculation about the actual stabbings. But let’s make some predictions about the likely media responses:

      1. Regardless of the characteristics of the victims and perpetrators, the BBC will go out of its way to find and interview a member of an ethnic community. It might be someone from a different part of the train who didn’t witness the attack, it might be somebody who normally makes that journey but didn’t last night, it might be an emergency worker, it might be an off-duty railway worker. Anything. It doesn’t matter how tenuous the link, they’ll find somebody that meets the criteria.

      2. Interviews with politicians or security experts (i.e. those with vested commercial interests) who will claim that Digital ID and face recognition ‘powered by AI’ would help prevent further tragedies. Look for comments like “A slight increase in privacy concerns would be a price well worth paying”.

      3. Articles on the BBC which make claims such as “Contrary to public perception, such attacks are exceedingly rare and violent crime is continuing to fall in Britain”. These will then be followed by ‘feel good stories’ such as “The community which fought back against knife crime” and “I stabbed somebody but now I’m a reformed character who speaks to kids in schools about knife crime”.

    Non-speculative Sunday edition

The Chanceller is said to be looking at proposals to apply a 100 per cent increase to the two highest council tax bands (Tut-tut the Telegraph – caught speculating about the budget there)

Andrew Rawnsley in the Observer can’t seem to help himself speculating as he riffs on a Hamlet soliloquy: 2p or not 2p… on Reeve’s big income tax decision

From the classic literary heights of Shakespeare, down to low trash culture…

Meanwhile, migrant-welcoming minor celeb Lily Allen breaks the don’t-look-back-in-anger rule in the Observer: Look back in anger Lily Allen has exposed the lies that come with an ‘open’ marriage

Even one of the BBC’s finest, Laura Kuenssberg, commits the sin of speculation with that favourite journalistic term ‘could’: Politicians rarely comment on the royals. That could all change after the Andrew saga

So, apparently, it’s OK when they do it. Or perhaps it’s just a question of the subject matter that we’re always supposed to keep shtum about?

    • AsISeeIt says:

Maybe it’s just a question of the authorities needing to get all their ducks in a row before the story breaks… they’ll be looking for a ‘hero’ for distraction and then a victim’s relative to do the forgiving act.

The issue with me, and many others, is – sadly – that as there are no real facts available from the MSM, headed by the bBC, and mainly left-wing papers, there have been so many ‘cover-ups’, so much obfuscation, so much immorality, and downright cheating by people in the public eye, who should know better, that with a huge internet of proper information, the ASSUMPTION now is that we are being lied to.

Of course citizens are going to query every political act, decision, hiding of the facts, squabble, oblivion of the laws etc., because they can now – and for every good reason too! We couldn’t do that years ago, as all we had were a few programmes on TV and the radio, plus what we read in the papers!

I am not making light of this horrific attack but as we are not allowed to tell the truth or to be angry anymore I , as a true Brit, revert to humour .
We all expect that the tired old lines that attacks were nothing to do with Islam and that the perpetrators probably have a history of mental issues will be trotted out, but the authorities, realising that we are beginning to become a tiny bit sceptical of these old chestnuts , have come with a couple of new lines.
Firstly the perpetrators were claustrophobic and suffered panic attacks in the confined spaces of the train and secondly they were both suffering from travel sickness at the time. So they have diminished responsibility for their actions.
I loath the authorities more with each attack. How many more before they do something to protect us?

The sad truth is they no longer need to tell us the identity because we all know how to translate the news they feed us into the truths they want to hide.

Is it any good saying people need to wake up to the threat from mass immigration when the people in charge are deliberately and knowingly implementing such a policy? They are not going to change…in fact they will speed it up in order to make demographic change[ie ethnic cleansing in effect] de facto.

So if they won’t change how do you stop them?

Australia is still under threat….from legal migration….you can watch Youtube videos of Chinese Australians…they have no White friends and indeed are quite disparaging of White Australia. Doesn’t bode well never mind the Islamic jihadists.

What have you told the MSM to report, and do you think they’ll take any notice? Because if you don’t come clean pretty damn soon, the national assumption will be the unthinkable for you and your paltry bunch of no-hopers in ‘government’.

A case of a white guy murdering an innocent Syrian refugee in Huddersfield. Convicted 9th Oct.
Obviously there are some white hoodlums
and CCTV does seem to show the Syrian brushing past Alfie Franco’s girlfriend.
Franco calls out the Syrian starts walking back
Franco whips out a flick knife and kills him
If there is more the media don’t report much
but something curious is that After being born in 2005 Franco’s family moved to South Africa
A weird thing to do since S Africa is full of crime these days
and they moved back to Huddersfield 13 years later
Seems he’d been living in Capetown
How English are they ? .. he has a relative called Carlos Franco

Alfie Franco aged 20 from the Crescent, Kirkburton, was today (Thursday 9 October) convicted at Leeds Crown Court of the murder of 16 year old Ahmad Mamdouh Al Ibrahim in Huddersfield on 3 April.

During the trial, the jury heard that Ahmad, who had only recently arrived in Huddersfield, had been walking with a friend at just before 2.45pm on Ramsden Street on 3 April when they came across Franco and a woman.
As the pair walked by, CCTV showed Franco saying something to Amhad who, speaking little English, turned and walked back.
A few second later Franco was shown to reach for a concealed knife which he then, with no threat or provocation made towards him, used to stab his victim once in the neck.

Franco fled the scene but later handed himself in at a police station, telling officers in an interview he had been acting in self-defence and had spent years living in South Africa as the only white boy in the Cape Flats, where “if a boy came for you with aggression, they are either coming to hurt you or kill you”

The possible election of Zohran Mamdani as next Mayor of New York is classic infiltration…a Trojan Horse if you like….a Muslim spouting hard-left ‘populist’ policies to get elected but of course always with the long game in sight….ala Iran.

The BBC’s ‘Sunday’ were of course very bouyant about this prospect and very uncritical and credulous….they even wheeled in Hamza Yousaf to help the celebration along as he declared he was a Muslim but that didn’t shape his policies….really? How about the hate laws? Athough ostensibly wideranging in fact were an ‘Islamophobia’ law in disguise…much as Warsi promoted hardline protections for ‘all’ religions but knowing the effect would be to silence critics of Islam.

All very friendly and positive…the presenter did ask, laughing as she did, about Christian Kate Forbes in Scotland who was hounded for her beliefs….this was dismissed by Yousaf as Forbes actually, in effect, daring to tell the truth about her beliefs and values…whereas he of course is not so honest and hides his real beliefs and intentions [in non-Muslim public sphere]….and yet he is praised for that….and this gives the lie to his schtick…he wants more Muslim leaders in Western Democracies in order to ‘change the course history’….ie in favour of Islam…

There was no surprise to hear that Muslims had been ‘mobilised’ by Zohran Mamdani and were voting for him based on religion as well as the marxist populism….which is the acceptable kind for the BBC.

If Forbes, say, had ‘mobilised’ the Christian vote do you think the BBC would be quite so welcoming and uncritical?

This the BBC that targeted Christians and claimed they were using a ‘womb as a weapon’ by having babies…

‘The Womb as a Weapon will be broadcast on the BBC World Service on 18 May at 19:32 GMT. ‘

Not so keen to expose this…

‘“Islam will return to Europe. The conquest need not necessarily be by sword. Perhaps we will conquer these lands without armies. We want an army of preachers and teachers who will present Islam in all languages and all dialects.”

Dr Al-Qaradawi, who is based in Qatar, is also the spiritual guide of the hardline Muslim Brotherhood, which is growing across Europe, and whose leader Muhammad Mahdi Othman ’Akef declared recently, ‘I have complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America, because Islam has logic and a mission.’’

As ever people should not be punished without due process
Police don’t like something about your car , they seize it under section 59
    You retrieve it
.. you fail to tell your insurance company
    The police seize it again
Then this time they say “ah well we phoned your insurance company, they have now revoked your insurance, you are not insured, so you cannot have your vehicle even if you turn up with a trailer to put it on”
Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, which gives police powers to stop, warn, and seize vehicles used in an antisocial manner, such as careless or inconsiderate driving that causes alarm, distress, or annoyance to the public. It does not directly impose a requirement on a person to “inform” their insurance company,
but … most standard insurance policies require you to disclose any and all warnings, driving offences, or police involvement related to your vehicle use.
Failing to disclose a Section 59 warning or subsequent offences/seizure could be considered a breach of your insurance terms, potentially invalidating your policy.

You see I don’t support crude posters in public cos children can see them etc.
YouTube pushes at me BritainFirst videos saying police have twice seized their bus under section 59 cos it has an anti-social banner “Keir is a W**ker”.
Latest vid shows police saying they won’t prosecute but they have phoned the insurance company and they’ve revoked the insurance
The BF video fails to mention if BF failed to disclose the first incident to the insurers.
but seizing someone’s vehicle like that and then selling it on to pay for impoundment amounts to a fine of thousands of pounds without due process
And is against the spirit of equal justice, cos another political party would not have the same insurance problem.

Saying that they are “British nationals” is an indication of how mistaken the country is in giving them a passport, and is an insult to those who fought to protect us.
I remember when I was a lot younger witnessing the various protests and boycotts aimed at South Africa’s apartheid system. I quietly thought at the time that it actually had its merits. It may be that approach, with a less controversial name, may be the way forward, if only to safeguard our civilisation.
