The BBC report on Trump’s recent press conference on Iran is dripping with condescension and contempt.

“largely a rehash…the usual threats… a repeated pledge… If you were to copy and paste his posts on Truth Social over the last week or so, you would not be far off this address to the nation… no clear answers… glaring omissions… (which the all-knowing journo then proceeds to list, at length and in detail).

In other words, bad Trump failed to tell us at exactly what day and time the war would come to an end, or what he would do if X, Y and Z.
In other words, he wasn’t playing the media’s game, boo-hoo.

Imagine such a journo (I use the term loosely) in Summer / Autumn 1940.

“Churchill failed to reveal when the Battle of Britain would end” or worse: “The RAF is close to exhaustion; if the Luftwaffe keep up their raids on airfields a few more days, they will win “.

Because Germany didn’t know the situation on the ground, they shifted their raids to cities when a few more days of bombing the airfields would probably have given them victory.

All wars are partly psychological, but the war in Iran more so than most.

If the Islamofascists in charge of Iran believe they’re facing an implacable alliance, they’re much more likely to fold and the people to rise up, than if they believe the alliance against them is weak or cracking, indecisive or incompetent.

Thank you, BBC, for undermining Trump, and aiding and abetting the Islamofascists. But then, of course, you secretly want them to win, and Trump to lose.

Ed Miliband reverses decision to keep UK-China energy deal secret

Britain and China are cooperating on nuclear power, the government has revealed after reversing its decision to withhold details of an energy agreement between London and Beijing.

Ed Miliband, the energy secretary, repeatedly refused earlier this month to publish the 2025 memorandum of understanding (MoU).

During a heated exchange at a hearing of the energy security and net zero committee last month, Bradley Thomas, Tory MP, asked Miliband at least half a dozen times what the government had to hide.

To justify keeping the text secret, Miliband repeatedly said that he was simply “following the practice of the previous government” in not publishing a similar agreement the Conservatives made with China 11 years ago.

And before you ask I do not suffer from hearing problems like a lot of people my age or even older than my good self.

What is the point of these GW fillers? They are preventing the listener from enjoying a panel game or comedy item that used to be played from 1.30 p.m. onwards in the ‘good old days’. Trump told Starmer “You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself”. Labour refused to publish their secret energy deal with Communist China, despite facing questions in Parliament and before a select committee. However, the US State Department obtained information on the secret deal from US spies and expressed clear disapproval of the British surrender to Communist China. U.S. intelligence-sharing functions with the British under Five Eyes were then scaled back to zero. The US did not share intelligence with Starmer that the US was going to attack Iran. The UK government’s reaction to the attack was one of shock and surprise. Lloyd’s of London was blindsided. The Marxist Idiots section 6 (MI6) are in panic mode. The 33 Freemasons of the City of London Corporation Court held an emergency meeting, after Trump destroyed their criminal ‘World Order’. A ‘World Order’ that took off when Nathan Rothschild received news of Wellington’s victory at the Battle of Waterloo, a full day ahead of any one else, and ended when Trump cut off the City of London from the Five Eyes (FVEY), to stop the Deep State from profiting from the war against Iran.

So that’s why Starmer held an emergency Cobra meeting. Trump stepped in with his plan to replace Lloyds and the City of London criminal class with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). The DFC has launched a $20 billion reinsurance program for maritime reinsurance, in particular including war risk coverage in the Persian Gulf region. That’s why we can now have peace. Trump said “We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear,” “I’m pleased to say that these core strategic objectives are nearing completion,” and that the Strait of Hormuz would “open up naturally” once the war subsides.

President Donald Trump said he is strongly considering withdrawing the United States from NATO. Trump said “I was never swayed by NATO,” “I always knew they were a paper tiger,” “We’ve been there automatically, including Ukraine,“ ”Ukraine wasn’t our problem,” but “They weren’t there for us.” In angry response, Starmer said he wants to get rid of Jury trials, keep Islam safe from online criticism, introduce ID cards and will seek “closer ties to Europe” with much more closer partnerships with China, Iran, Cuba, Mauritius, Greenland, Pakistan, the European Union, NATO and the Ukraine war. Starmer saying that the Iran war is “not our war”.

Gavin Ashendon, former chaplain to the late Queen, and now Roman Catholic, on his YouTube channel has a lot to say about the King not giving an Easter message. He also suggests what the King as head of the Church of England might have said. It seems to me incredibly stupid, after the MSM reported the King’s Ramadan message not to have at least said something. It might have also been nice, having done Ramadan, to have put out a Passover message for his Jewish subjects.

And where is the Dulux dog’s Easter message? (Gavin Ashendon’s simile for the Archbishop, not mine). I do hope she puts out a message about hope over this Christian festival, but I ain’t heard nothing yet.

    Nation of automotons edition

We interupt your breakfast this morning… with proof, if proof were needed, that Britain never really effectively, fuctionally, escaped the EU – as voters once demanded of our politicians. And evidence spreads (on our toast) how that same political class now feel sufficiently emboldened to admit and clearly demonstrate to us our ongoing continuing vassel status toward Brussels…

Marmalade to be rebranded in post-Brexit food deal… The breakfast favourite will have to be sold as “citrus marmalade” if the agreement goes ahead, when Britain will readopt new EU food regulations in a bid to boost trade and reduce red tape for British exporters… Marmalade has long been a quintessential British condiment, with some recipes handed down between multiple generations. But jars of the fruity spread could look a little different on shop shelves under the UK government’s planned EU food deal, it has emerged. (scoffs Paul Seddon, Political reporter, BBC)

So apparently to reduce red tape… needs must we adopt more EU rules – go figure?

Why this demoralising petty clamp down on the name of marmalade, of all thing?

I guess it’s all of a sort with the renaming of that sturdy British Marathon chocolate bar as the somewhat tongue-in-cheek sounding ‘internationally-know-as’ Snickers. Like the former imposition of the EU flag on Yookay car number plates – we’re all globalists now you know, and don’t you forget it.

You British, mit your British sense of humour, hein? Okay, you Daily Mail readers… you can have your little laugh about your Brussels straight bananas (or was it cucumbers?) and Jim Hacker’s sausages rebranded The Emulsified High-Fat Offal Tubes (there’s one for the teenagers) – but, as they used to say in the war movies, “We are the masters now, eh!”

As the captive U-boat commander in the Walmington-on-Sea church hall insisted, when Mainwaring doubted the Germans would win the war: “Oh yes we will!”

And when the U-boat crew snapped to attention and Sergeant Wilson admired their outstanding smartness of drill…

Our good captain tellingly remarked: “I tell you Wilson, they’re a nation of automotons”

Is there any hope? Or are we now not so much a nation but certainly automotons?

In the mildly conservative Telegraph David Frost – no, not that one, this is Lord Frost who led the negotiations that finally took Britain out of the EU (no, don’t laugh – or cry) in 2020. A Cabinet minister in the Boris Johnson government, he resigned in protest at the handling of Covid lockdowns, and has since been a persistent advocate of a more fully conservative approach to policy on the Right. He is a non-affiliated peer in the House of Lords. Well, we can’t be having that sort of talk in the Tory wing of the Uniparty.

Anyway, appropriately enough this week, he reckons: We are seeing a Christian revival (Telegraph)

And it turns out we’re not quite yet a nation of completely materialist atheistic consumerist automatons…

Because if we were… why would we care so much about this…

Funeral home ‘monster should rot in jail’ (Express)
Funeral home horror… Director gave wrong ashes and stockpiled bodies (Mirror)

So that’s the front page headline story on both left and right leaning popular titles.

By the way, the Guardian cover page don’t care for any reminders of the day of commemoration of the Christian crucifixion. The nearest our socialistic managerial mouthpiece Mammon comes to marking Good Friday is: The best Easter bunny movies – ranked (Guardian) – oh, I don’t know about ranked – some of them were quite good (that never gets old)

And our increasingly cash-strapped, living beyond its means, BBC frets about the financial aspects of the funeral home scandal in local news: Funeral fraudster motivated by money, says ex-worker (Linsey Smith, News correspondent, BBC East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire)

Soviet joke corner: There was an old gag the people in Moscow had when their telephone system failed or the lights went out due to a power cut. They would shrug and resignedly comment “It’s gone on a rocket”

As I see it – there was mention in your comment about a ‘Christian revival ‘ – anecdotally I think this is true . I say this because of what I see – for instance – I was at the mass of the last supper last night – church was packed – but sometimes I watch the ‘choreography ‘ of the standing – sitting – kneeling – and notice how many people get it ‘wrong ‘ – which is an indication to me is that they are ‘new’ .

I hope they don’t get cheesed of by this ‘kneeling stuff ‘ because it’s all part of the ceremony – but it is a constant in the RC church – no change – no woke crap – it is what it is – as they say .
Today – Good Friday – is – I think – the longest mass of the year -maybe 2 hours – but it will be packed ….

Im not a good RC – but if you’ve never been to the Good Friday ‘gig ‘ why not go ? They start at 3pm but full up by 245 …

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp3jk229vkgo
Sir David Amess died after he was stabbed more than 20 times

      “sub-optimal”

      ……..
Early Life: Born in Southwark, London, to Somali parents, Ali grew up in Croydon. His father was once an adviser to the Prime Minister of Somalia.
Radicalisation: Ali self-radicalised around 2014, watching videos of extremist preacher Anjem Choudary and becoming obsessed with the war in Syria.
Prevent Programme: In 2014, at age 18, he was referred to “Prevent” (the UK’s anti-radicalisation scheme) and subsequently “Channel” after his school raised concerns about his behavior. However, he was released from the program in 2015 after only one meeting with an intervention provider, with officials deeming him low-risk.
Trial: During his trial, Ali did not deny the killing and stated he had “no regrets”. He claimed to have targeted Amess for his votes in Parliament regarding Syria.

‘You’d have to be barking mad to think Muslims have turned the BBC against dogs’
‘I’m the first to criticise the BBC when it gets it wrong, but the latest row swirling around the broadcaster is simply barking mad.

No, I’m not talking about Scott Mills, but the bonkers conclusion some have reached that W1A execs are pandering to Muslim audiences by raising questions about dogs’ place in public life.

It all kicked off because the BBC had the temerity to run a banal news item suggesting that as a society we are letting our 13.5 million dogs run rings round us and it might have gone too far.
Said BBC news item was immediately seized upon by a lunatic fringe, which included Tommy Robinson, as an egregious example of pro-Islamist wokery.’

Lol…..never ever trust the BBC…we all know there is a subtext to this story…just a coincidence that it comes after a flurry of stories about Muslims wanting to ban dogs in recent months?

So yeah…it is in reality all about Muslims.

Then again Labour’s Lucy Powell thought there was nothing to see…talking about rape gangs was ‘dog whistle politics’….and ex-BBC Maitlis thought it was racist to note that thousands of young white girls were raped and abused by Muslims….and it was perfectly fine for a black comedian to say she wanted to kill Whitey..well not really…well…not yet. BBC had no problem with that.

Does anyone remember that around the eighties and nineties, there was massive wailing and gnashing of teeth because ‘computers’ were going to take over millions of jobs, and people would be unable to work? Now it’s clear that citizens who wanted to work, got on quickly, while the lazy and feckless continued their task of spending state handouts. ‘Jobs’ in LAs, the CS, and other realms of ‘public services’ boomed, as far too much controlling legislation had to be monitored, explained, passed around several committees and then forgotten or lost, having achieved very little!

Now, AI is capable of filling so many of these ‘clerical’ jobs, and even lawyers and accountants are wondering if their services may suffer. (I’d like to think that AI could take over from this awful administration as well, but the Human rights courts will undoubtedly find a way to put a stop to that, as it’s their own money they’ll be losing out on)!

The ease of getting a letter to skive off work is laughable nowadays, but what I don’t understand is why all these benefit claimants begging for handouts because they’re ‘stressed’ or ‘anxious’, and therefore unproductive, can’t learn how to use even the basic computer skills, and get a job where minimum physical – and mental – effort is required. There are plenty of positions available if one can be bothered to look! If AI is going to take over many of the turgid legislatory non-jobs in Whitehall, then bring it on!

Finally, it seems that a quick AI for a service to take the place of the bBC is dead easy, and the bias could be totally written out of everything they do! We might even get some real truth from their new masters…

They interviewed some typical young white liberal who had me spluttering my morning cuppa and shrieking, “I don’t bloody belieeeve it!” as he simpered on.

“We need to help these troubled kids, ah, yeh, they need better opportunities so they don’t resort to this kind of stuff.”

What is an Act of Parliament?
An Act of Parliament creates a new law or changes an existing law. An Act is a Bill that has been approved by both the House of Commons and the House of Lords and been given Royal Assent by the Monarch. Taken together, Acts of Parliament make up what is known as Statute Law in the UK.

This means the poor consumer is being screwed over three times:
    1) Paying for curtailment to the windfarms
