This was a budget for the workshy, the skivers, the feckless, for those who breed excessively and all the others who don’t contribute.
Labour seem to worship this lot saying this will get them all working and take millions out of poverty but it’s nothing like that.
I would say most of them are the types who will clean out food banks, take everything that’s free and probably do jobs in the black economy. The sort who, if you leave a bucket of sweets out at Halloween for the kids, will take the lot.

Genuine poor people such as homeless veterans get no help (they don’t vote) and no matter what they are given, 50% of children will always be worse off than the other 50% who are better off.

They say “why should the children suffer if the parents are useless” and think giving free breakfasts and suchlike is the answer. Maybe if Fred West (or the old favourite Adolf) got a free breakfast at school they would have turned out nice.

Being soft as shite to all the scroungers is encouraging that behaviour. Give them just enough to exist and they will soon find a job.

This is the worst government since the beginning of time.

New tax on hotel stays in the USSRUK means that we’ll be paying tax on the handouts for illegals on three square meals, free lodging etc!

Perhaps a list of all the hotel companies creaming it off by taking in these illegals, could highlight how many foreigners benefit at our expense…

£350,000 profit and income end Feb 2022

£101,000,000 profit and income end Feb 2023

Plus the money wasted on hundreds of civil servants paid to ‘administer’ these places.

Plus the money paid for healthcare etc

    Plus the phone costs.

    Plus the dental care.

    …….

Rumours that unemployable kids lounging around are being taken on to run these hotels are untrue…

Apparently state borrowing costs dropped a bit after the budget – I assume – out of relief – because that’s what I feel at the moment .
How can Rachel carry on ? The whole budget process was shsmbolic – right up to thr time she was about to stand up . But the content wasn’t as bad as a lot of people – including me – thought it would be .

But – of course – what it leaves is instant suspicion about thr next time she has to do a ‘fiscal event ‘ – she has breached the manifesto by extending the tax thresholds – meaning that for many they will land up paying more income tax – which the manifesto said wouldn’t happen .

Torsten bell seems the most likely replacement although that comrade hasn’t been an MP for very long .

All those fears remain – fiddling with private pensions – taxing god knows what

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3r7qpqddnro

Standard BBC reluctantly reporting the facts given by others. No embellishment or inclusion of anything extra which might reinforce that it might be another Islamic terrorist.

But the bit which struck as being the most pathetic thing to tack on the end of a statistic was this:

‘Overall crime in the nation’s capital has fallen since the force was sent, though it’s unclear how much of the decline can be credited to the presence of the troops on the streets.
Washington DC police figures show 62 homicides (a category that includes murder) between 25 May and 25 November this year.
That compares with 107 homicides recorded in the same period last year.’

How about all of it BBC ?. The murder rate has almost halved. But it would acknowledge that Trump did something right – and the BBC would rather choke on their own spite. So they stuck out their bottom lip and added that childlike qualifier. No doubt on the orders of the political team and the lawyers.

The biggest story in the world for me at the moment is the one nobody is reporting. The murder people as a result of Leftists (ESPECIALLY the Democrats and the MSM : BBC included as the Panorama video proved) deliberately trying to cause division and hate. Accompanied by the ultimate in projection by blaming the Right of doing it. If that were true, it would be the Right doing all the murder.

The prime minister told the BBC his government had made “good steps”, particularly on the cost-of-living, but “we need to do more”.’

‘Told the BBC …’ – another cosy little chat

    And they end it with:

“Now people will say to me, ‘It’s not possible to change the country for the better.’ I say it is,” he told the BBC.
“I’m optimistic about the future of our country and I know that we can turn it around after 14 years of failure under the Conservatives.”

The polar opposite to how they reported on Boris.

BBC’s new British Empire documentary slammed as attack – ‘morally self-righteous’

The BBC has been accused of pushing a negative agenda against the British Empire in a new documentary, The three-part series, Empire, has been called “morally self-righteous”.

Presented by David Olusoga, a British-Nigerian writer, the show follows the UK’s colonial expansion from Tudor times to the First World War. However, a historian has said the show offers a biased point of view.

Professor Lawrence Goldman, an emeritus fellow at St Peter’s College, Oxford and member of the History Reclaimed campaign group, said Mr Olusoga’s Empire “isn’t interested in much beyond victim hood.

The professor says the programme did not show Britain’s efforts to spread democracy and improve educational standards worldwide.

Bond markets welcome decision to increase Exchequer’s fiscal headroom (FT) – but naturally the loan sharks will be pleased to know that the profligate spender can’t mend her spendthift ways.

Tax hikes and increasing benefits are one and the same in this analogy.

The knack of the clever loan shark is to encourage his victim to borrow more to spend more – to spend just so much more as to still keep her head just above water. The news that Waynetta, queen of the council estate is having a third sprog and about to receive extra benefits is music to the loan shark’s ears, I’m metaphorically speaking of course.

An increasing population due to mass immigration, promoting the totem of aggregate growth, is likewise the sort of mood music global bond markets love to hear – there’s an analogy for you.

Faisal Islam, the BBC economics guy, was noticably rather forgiving of the budget chaos, policy U-turns, tax hikes and broken manifesto promises: I detect an unspoken strategy. The government hopes that growth will exceed the solid pedestrian predictions of 1.5%. If that is the case, we might not ever get to this extended threshold freeze. (BBC)

The chancellor has urged Labour MPs to defend her budget. Measures announced yesterday include raising taxes by 26 billion pounds. It means 1.7 million people will find themselves paying more. Dear reader, it is time to be honest with ourselves. The British economy is in desperate trouble. Despite what politicians pretend, you can see for yourself that nothing works anymore. We have non-existent growth, higher energy prices than anybody else in the world, taxes at a post-war highund billion pounds of annual debt repayment, and uncontrolled immigration that is draining our nation. And that is just the record of 14 years of Conservative government. If things weren’t bad enough, we now have economic chaos and a tax raising budget under Starmer and Reeves. Whose side are Labor on? For almost 18 months, they’ve been coming for pensioners, homeowners, savers, small businesses, anybody aspiring to a better life. Even if they promise something today, they will take it away tomorrow. No wonder a record of a million ambitious people fled the United Kingdom last year. These clueless politicians have never run a business, have no idea how the real world works. Thanks to them, I would not be surprised if a financial crisis causes an early general election. When that election comes, Reform UK will be ready. We will proudly be the party of alarm clock Britain, defending the hardworking taxpayers who keep this country running. Reform will strive to make work pay and will be on the side of small and family businesses. will reduce the bloated welfare state, slash red tape, raise the threshold at which you start paying income tax as soon as possible, and cut Britain’s energy bills by scrapping crazy net zero targets invented by Boris Johnson and Ed Milliban. None of this will be easy. I’ve made it clear that we cannot promise immediate tax cuts until we tackle the debt crisis created by the Conservatives and Labor. For too long, governments have prioritized those who take more out of the country than they put in. Enough. Reform will end welfare handouts to foreign nationals. We will always be on the side of working people. We are favorites to win the next election. I take that responsibility very seriously. And reform is building a team to turn our economy round. The government that I lead will not be full of career politicians, but people who’ve done things in the real world, who know how money is made and should be spent. Our team will be ready with a plan to make Britain once again the best place to start a business, raise a family, and build a future. I know what it’s like to have to make a monthly payroll as a former small business owner. I will not let you down. This morning, people around Britain woke up feeling that the government is working against them. My promise is that a reformed government will work for the British people. Labor and the Conservatives broke Britain. Reform stands to fix Britain.

So the new Tourist Tax includes caravans and tents.

Its per person, so a family of 4 is £8 per night extra – just for staying in their own tent!

Another reason not to holiday at home. Labour certainly know how to screw everything up. I am sure that in Spain only foreign nationals pay the tax not Spanish citizens

Your boss wants to give you £100 bonus.

First he has to give 15% to the government in employers NI

you get £85. As a high rate tax payer you give Tax & NI to the government of £35.70

So you are left with £49.30

You buy a packet of cigarettes at £16.50, £9.80 goes to the government.

you put the remaining £32.80 into petrol for your car to get to work. £13.78 of which is duty and VAT.

Out of £100, £74.28 goes to the government.

Best to stay at home and claim benefits.

Lord Ali will provide – free glasses and knickers for your wife!

      ………..

Lord Ali has given over £500,000 to the Labour Party over 20 years, and more recently, has donated specific items such as clothing and glasses to Labour MPs, including £16,000 for clothing and £2,485 for glasses to Sir Keir Starmer. He has also provided other forms of support, such as accommodation worth more than £20,000 for Sir Keir Starmer to use.

      ……….

Sir Keir said this was to allow his son to study for his GCSEs in peace at the former TV executive’s central London flat while the family home was surrounded by media during the general election.

The BBC are creaming their pants at the news that nett migration is (apparently) hugely down to ‘only’ 200,000.
‘That’ll sort out Nigel’. You can almost hear the cheers in the News Editorial suite.
    Just one slight problem.
Considering nett emigration, just who are these people?
Are they avoiding a military draft?
    Are they fearful of discrimination?
    Do they speak poor English?
Have they destroyed their British passports?

Or, on the other hand, are they capable professionals whose skills are under-appreciated and whose earnings are over-taxed, able to command better jobs in Dubai, Australia, Canada, the US, to name just 4?

Politically, it’s an in-out numbers game.
Economically and socially it’s a disaster.
But hey. They weren’t going to vote for TTK or Rachel from Complaints, so it’s good riddance, and a big hello to future Labour voters who have no skills, no jobs, don’t speak English, and will cost remaining taxpayers a fortune.

My ambition is to go to Romania on holiday.

Put Lebanese Loops on their cashpoint machines, so I can clone locals’ bank cards and create copies to withdraw cash, go into Bucharest city centre and pickpocket a few wallets, then a spot of shoplifting before lunch, where I can steal iPhones from diners having a bite to eat, then begging in the afternoon. Then I can remove the catalytic converter from the hire car before flying home and leaving the hotel bill unpaid.

BBC Chairman, Samir Shah, was born and raised a Jain in Aurangabad, India. He later converted to Islam when he moved to Britain. His brother is Mohit Bakaya, controller of BBC Radio 4. In August 2024, Shah received a letter from around 200 individuals employed by the BBC calling for an investigation into alleged institutional anti-Semitism at the corporation. But Shah, a Muslim, dismissed these calls for an investigation.

The BBC’s Muslim Chairman appeared before the Culture, Media, and Sport Committee to defend the BBC at the House of Commons on Nov 24, 2025. When asked by the Committee about the delay in responding, Shah said: “I needed to understand what went wrong” “I needed to make sure that what I was apologising for was fully sourced and fully right. It needed to be right, and it took its time.” Shah told members of Parliament he “spent a great deal of time” trying to stop Davie from resigning. “I do not think the director-general should have resigned,” he said. “Can I say the board wishes that the director-general had not resigned? He had our full confidence throughout.”

The BBC Director-General, had a salary of £541,000, but the BBC’s Muslim Chairman wants to increase the governance of the BBC, by adding on a deputy director-general, with responsibility for news. The BBC’s Muslim Chairman is only paid £169,000 a year, working 3½ days per week. The equivalent of £338,000, for a full weeks pay. In 2024, he owned and then sold Juniper TV to DLT Entertainment for about £40 million.

A television license is a legal requirement for anyone who watches live television in the United Kingdom, regardless of whether they consume any of the BBC’s output. A fee of £174.50 per household annually goes toward funding the corporation. Recent figures suggest that a growing number of people are becoming criminals, by choosing not to pay for a television license. In England, non-payment and Social media posts can result in prison sentences: https://www.theepochtimes.com/world/bbc-too-slow-to-act-on-trump-panorama-edit-memo-chairman-says-5949489
