End of Year 2025

The BBC has achieved a lot in 2025 – about 800 000 less TV licences – lost a DG and Head of News after getting caught falsifying a broadcast – continued to support a corrupt Starmer Regime / Islamic terrorist group – sought to undermine Israel at every opportunity – undermined Christianity wherever possible continued to ignore Pakistani rape gangs still infecting communities.

We wish Britain a happy 2026 – but we know it won’t be .

I wonder if this is down to Twitter or if it’s down to the council seeking out people who’ve interacted with posts critical of or mocking the Labour council? Did the council pay to seek me out?

States with no ID requirements average about 10x more benefit types than strict ID states (2.1 vs. 0.2), close to the post’s 8x claim if factoring in program scope or dollar values (e.g., health costs more than EITC). This doesn’t prove causation or illegal intent, but the overlap is clear: benefits are concentrated in Democratic-leaning states with laxer ID rules, which could theoretically enable non-citizen voting if safeguards fail (though federal law prohibits it). The post’s “biggest crime” framing aligns with ongoing debates on election integrity and immigration policy.

    coincidence….

Shredded raw turnip is both halal and vegan.

Vegan: Turnips are a root vegetable, entirely plant-based with no animal products or byproducts involved. Shredding and eating them raw doesn’t change that—it’s purely a plant food.

Halal: In Islamic dietary laws, all fruits, vegetables, and plant-based foods (including root vegetables like turnips) are considered permissible by default, as long as they are not intoxicating, poisonous, or contaminated with haram substances (e.g., alcohol or pork derivatives). Raw turnip meets none of these prohibitions and is naturally halal.

MP abused by trolls loses 10 stone after taking Mounjaro
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm24813lj7ko

Goodness me – another BBC article pushed for a reason other than the headline. It seems this immensely fat woman is a ‘victim’ of people telling her how fat she was. And most people don’t get that fat for medical reasons : they get fat because they are lazy and greedy. Not all – but most.
Anyway it seems all the trolls are evil and she is a lovely, lovely woman.
Then we learn that she didn’t diet because of the trolls at all. She took the drug because:
‘after taking the slimming drug in October 2024 having developed mobility issues.’
‘Harris had private treatment after increasingly struggling to walk around her constituency, which came to a head while walking around a lake in Swansea to celebrate International Menopause Day.’
‘”I started having difficulty and had to stop a quarter of the way in,” she said.’

    Then we get:
‘Another motivation was what she called the constant, cruel comments she received online.’
An absolute lie tacked on the end. The BBC simply cannot write an empathy story without making someone a victim. If this woman cared about that, she would have lost weight a long time ago.
    She says:
‘”I can be bolshie if I’m fighting for a cause or for someone else, but deep down I’m very sensitive.”
    Sounds 100% Labour.

Did I mention she is a Welsh Labour MP ?. The Leftist of the Left.

      From AI:
      ‘General Statistics on Female Mechanics
United States: According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), women comprised approximately 12.3% of those employed in the automotive repair and maintenance industry in 2023. More specific data from 2018 indicated that only about 2% to 3.6% of actual auto mechanics (technicians performing manual labor) were women.’

In the construction industry, women make up just 1% of the manual workforce.

Overall Representation: Approximately 73–74% of all council staff in England are female.
In some councils, departments like Waste and Cleansing are as much as 93% male

France threatens to arrest Britons who stop migrant crossings
    https://archive.is/20260102143920/https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/01/02/france-threatens-arrest-britons-stopping-migrant-crossings/

So I can’t find it on the BBC site. So after the schenanigans with getting the truth out of AI, I thought I’d ask it:

‘did the bbc cover the france threatens activists small boats story’

    First AI reponse:
‘Yes, the BBC has covered a recent story from January 2026 about France threatening to arrest British activists who are attempting to stop migrants from leaving French beaches on small boats. ‘
Then gave me a link to the Telegraph article.

It also gave me lots of articles they DID report which have nothing to do with my question.

So I clicked ‘delve deeper into AI mode’ and it suddenly changed to:
‘As of January 2, 2026, the BBC has not published a report regarding France’s recent threat to arrest British activists involved in the “Raise the Colours” movement. This story, which emerged today, has been reported by other major outlets like The Telegraph.’
It then gave me even more information I didn’t ask for.

Even AI is making errors in favour of the agenda now.

    • JohnC says:

I followed that up by asking ‘Has the BBC been positive or negative about “Raise the Colours” movement’

      I got:

BBC coverage of the “Raise the Colours” movement has been critically balanced, often framing it as a divisive phenomenon rather than a purely positive expression of patriotism.
The BBC’s reporting throughout late 2025 has highlighted three primary perspectives:
Association with the Far-Right: BBC reports have repeatedly noted that while participants claim their actions are motivated by national pride, organizations such as Hope Not Hate have identified co-founders of the movement as having links to far-right groups like the English Defence League and Britain First.
Atmosphere of Intimidation: Coverage has featured interviews with local residents and officials who describe the sudden surge of flags on lampposts and public property as “intimidating” or “provocative,” particularly for ethnic minority communities.
Vandalism and Safety: The BBC has reported on “Operation Raise the Colours” in the context of vandalism, such as painting St George’s Crosses on mini-roundabouts and public infrastructure, which local councils have removed citing road safety concerns and “unauthorised” displays.
While the BBC includes quotes from movement organizers who argue their activities are “nothing to do with race” and intended to “bring people together,” these views are typically juxtaposed with reports of community fear and the political “hijacking” of national symbols’

Doesn’t sound very ‘critically balanced’ to me !!!.

These little chats are proving very useful to map out what AI has be programmed to tell me.

Sorry to keep going on, but AI is quite balatantly lying to me.
In a roundabout way, I asked which famous people’s deaths the BBC did not report. It would not tell me any. So I remember not seeing any article on Tony Selby (Get Some In) and I asked:

Me: ‘Did the bbc report the death of tony selby’
AI: ‘The BBC did report the death of actor Tony Selby when he passed away on September 5, 2021. However, there was a specific incident involving his death that may lead to the impression they did not report it or that there was confusion.’
Me: ‘you did not give me the bbc link where they reported it’
AI:While the BBC reported on Tony Selby’s death through regional and radio services, it did not publish a dedicated obituary on the national BBC News website in September 2021. Additional details are available on the BBC website.
Me: you have not given a bbc link
AI:A review of BBC News’ national archives confirms that while many major UK news outlets like The Times, The Guardian, and The Telegraph published obituaries for actor Tony Selby in September 2021, the BBC News website did not publish a standalone news report or obituary regarding his passing.

Goodness me – if I didn’t know the answer already, AI would have got away with a complete lie. You simply cannot trust it.

Amplifying the suffering of others purely to generate emotions in your own article must the lowest form of journalism. I can just imagine the BBC interviewer asking them to relive awful moments and describe just how utterly miserable they are so they can put it in an article and maybe get a BBC award for it later.
