I suppose the BBC will try to claim that – because people watch its’ stuff on YouTube – it’s worth the money .

But somehow I suspect the woke stuff will sit there whilst people watch the pre woke stuff – the stuff with all those warnings about ‘language and attitudes of the time ‘ and all that snow flake crap ….

WTF …. “It is like someone wanting to be the priest of a church and not getting the job so going off to the mosque next door and saying, ‘I’m going to be an imam now’. It’s not logical, the ease with which they can abandon their political beliefs. That’s not how to find people to run a country properly and oversee national security. They will do the wrong thing at every opportunity if they only care about themselves and govern in their own self-interest.” Kemi Badenoch’s full birth name is Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke

    https://order-order.com/2026/01/16/badenoch-jenrick-is-like-a-failed-priest-whos-decided-to-become-an-imam/

    ………

Adegoke is a Yoruba name (Nigeria/West Africa) meaning “crown has come home,” “royalty is elevated,” or “the crown gained advancement,” signifying greatness, wealth, or a return of nobility, often associated with leadership and prosperity in noble families.

Just imagine if Labour were riding high in the polls and doing a great job of governing the UK.
(I know, but try to imagine it)

Does anybody with more than two brain cells think TTK would be cancelling all these elections.

It’s so obvious what he’s doing yet he thinks we are fooled by his pathetic excuse about reorganisation being the reason for stopping the elections.
Of course, he may know that we know he’s talking shit but that would mean he doesn’t care what we think.

Don’t know which is worse, taking us for fools or dismissing us as unimportant simpletons.

      EG
When the judicial review comes TTK will have to be really careful to get approved judges to both slow it down and throw it out after consuming a lot of Reform money …..

The exact circumstances of every council refusing elections will need proper examination – it sure will put the electoral commission on the spot …..

Bet they use the west mids plod method – I didn’t tell you because you didn’t ask ….

To all those site contributors who are expressing dismay and disillusionment about Reform taking Jenrick.
You can be ideologically pure stay at home and refuse to vote and watch some horrendous coalition of the looney Islamophilic left rule the country after the next election and oversee its descent into a full membership of the third world shit hole club.
Or you can hold your nose and vote for Reform and give the country at least some hope that it’s thirty year long descent can be reversed.
A third option for you would be to start your own party from scratch and within three years try to win the election and then take on Blob.

Discounting option three as unlikely to succeed it’s either Reform with Jenrick et al or the Looney Islamic Left.
    The choice is yours.

Agree – but always worth seeing what their motives are to see how they will react in the future. Reform will not just take on Labour and Conservatives – they will also need to take on the civil service, ECHR, NGOs and Labour councils.

I read in the Guardian that some lefty low-life is crowing about tricking Nigel Farage into praising his pretend “friend” Ian Watkins on Farage’s money raising site. When Farage didn’t connect his friends name to the jailed Lost Prophets peado singer he agreed and made the video for a few Quid meaning that this smear of turd could run to the papers to blab to try to shame and damage Farage..

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/jan/16/nigel-farage-tricked-tribute-lostprophets-singer-ian-watkins

An object lesson in how vindictive and spiteful these gangrenous lefties are.

In trying to normalise and even promote unethical, underhand tactics they are responsible for the lowering of standards in politics across the board.

The Guardian referred to this idiot as John Smith which probably means he was too gutless to give his real name, so possibly connected to one of the obvious parties trying desperately to sabotage Farage while remaining hidden.

BBC unveils restored controversial statue by Eric Gill
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cly114y8gn7o
Gill was among the most prominent sculptors of the 20th Century. But after his death in 1940, his diaries revealed he had sexually abused his daughters.

      ………..

Arthur Eric Rowton Gill ARA RDI (22 February 1882 – 17 November 1940) was an English sculptor, letter cutter, typeface designer, and printmaker. Although the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography describes Gill as “the greatest artist-craftsman of the twentieth century: a letter-cutter and type designer of genius”, he is also a figure of considerable controversy following the revelations of his sexual abuse of two of his daughters and of his pet dog.

The antics of the climate clique BBC and ‘The Trick’
The Energy Security and Miliband’s Net Zero select committee is currently holding an inquiry entitled “Supporting the energy transition”. It’s very much what you might expect – panel after panel of prominent members of the green blob, with not a dissenting voice heard, either among the witnesses or the panel members.
Angharad Hopkinson, a political campaigner from Greenpeace
Lorraine Whitmarsh, from the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations
    Stephanie Draper, a climate campaigner
Roger Harrabin, ex-BBC Energy and Environment Analyst ****
Bob Ward, PR bod at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change
Rebecca Willis, ex-Green Alliance, and now an academic at Lancaster University.

As you’d expect, the inquiry agenda seemed to be not only about “supporting the energy transition” but also about silencing dissent. That impression is heightened by next week’s panel, which will hear from Ofcom, no doubt to discuss crushing “disinformation” (or as those outside the clique call it, “dissent”).
…. but there were no such concerns about BBC output. As Roger Harrabin observed shortly afterwards, the corporation has long since silenced dissenting voices…
    ..
BBC Head once called news” Fran Unsworth, (who was head of BBC news until recent resignations), made a declaration with a rather odd phrase which was, “The referee has blown his whistle, and the game is over, and we no longer have to have an oppositional voice on climate change” but people still feel the need to push for it. It is a basic journalistic need to push back, “Here are some facts. Let us push back at them”.

In 2008 and 2009 in the run-up to Copenhagen negotiations a scientist was revealed to have used the word “trick”. (Ex BBC’s) Harrabin’s take on the matter was perhaps even worse:
The scientists later explained what they meant by “trick”. It was a mathematical thing, “If you do this thing this way you get the sensible result”. The idea that deleting inconvenient data is “a mathematical thing” is absolutely shocking, and I have struggled to find an interpretation of Harrabin’s words that doesn’t lead to the conclusion that he is simply being dishonest. One less appalling conclusion is that Harrabin’s eyes simply glaze over when presented with scientific data. His degree is in English literature, so we may be looking at someone who simply struggles with numbers. Not that numerate!

That, of course, is the case across most of our institutions. Everywhere you look – from universities to the academies to the mainstream (BBC) media there has been a complete shutting out of dissenting voices and an absolute refusal to engage with counterarguments. That is why we are in the disastrous economic state we are.

It’s probably too late to save much of the economy, but we can at least console ourselves with the possibility that all of these monstrous groups might soon be cut off without a penny. The universities, the academies and the BBC will be well advised to take note.
