I am just listening to Tim Walz speaking about the latest death involving ICE. It rather, IMHO, sounds like what Trump was supposed to have said on January 6th. Even though it wasn’t what Trump said he was accused of encouraging insurrection. Isn’t that what Walz is doing?

And all these accusations re ICE takes away discussion from what Walz received from the Somali community.

I have noticed that the men from the Met Office who tell us the weather forecast haven’t read the memo about what to wear. Here we are in January, the young women wear their sleeveless tops to suggest that we are in the middle of a heatwave. Meanwhile the men at the very least wear a jacket over their shirt, if not a pullover and sometimes both. How are the audience going to believe that the world is literally on fire when we see the men.

To be fair, this differential has been going on for over 200 years.
In Jane Austen stories, the men always seem to wear thick breeches, long socks, an undershirt, a shirt, a neckerchief, and a thick coat on top.
The womenfolk wear thin skimpy white dresses with no sleeves and…..that’s pretty much it. They must have spent most of the time freezing.

To me the “Trump said something bad” is a fake outrage bus story
One key indicator is major missing context
seems to me that media never gave old quotes of what has Trump said about British soldiers in the past
.. I passed something on Twitter that said that he praised them on a few occasions

    Grok tells me
Earlier in 2025, during a meeting or interaction involving UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer (around February 27, 2025, based on reports and circulated clips):Trump stated:
“The British have incredible soldiers, incredible military and they can take care of themselves.”
In the same context, he remarked: “I’ve always found about the British, they don’t need much help. They can take care of themselves very well. The British have been incredible soldiers, incredible military, and they can take care of themselves, but if they need help, I’ll always be with the British.”
On the hypothetical scenario of Britain being attacked:
“British troops can handle themselves. But if they need help, I’ll always stand with the British.”

2019 State Visit to the UK (June 2019):
He described the UK as a “great ally” with a “tremendous military” and highlighted historical cooperation (e.g., WWII and post-9/11 operations).
No verbatim quote singles out “British soldiers” as “great” or “brave” in the way his 2026 post did, but the tone was consistently positive about British military capabilities.

(2017–2019): Trump often praised individual allies’ contributions when they met spending targets or showed commitment.
For the UK specifically, he noted Britain’s high defense spending (one of the few meeting the 2% GDP target) and called it a “very strong” NATO partner with “excellent” forces. In a 2018 NATO summit context, he referred to the UK as having “great military people” and strong armed forces in discussions about burden-sharing.

    2016–2020
He spoke admiringly of British forces in WWII (e.g., praising Churchill and the “brave British people and military” who stood against Nazis).
In a 2017 or 2018 remark tied to Veterans Day or joint operations, he grouped US and UK troops together as “the best” allies who’ve fought side-by-side bravely.

In summary: Trump consistently portrayed the British military positively as capable, reliable allies during his first term and earlier campaigns—part of the “special relationship” rhetoric—

Just wait till Bernie finds out about my local rail station. They were doubling the length of the platform and so had a dozen orange suited men wombling about the place for the next 2 years.

The station has no toilets so naturally a diesel generator had to be operating 24/7 powering the ladies portaloos because wimmin could have been onsite.

This was a mystery to me because the station does have power so they can blare out their acoustic abuse all day – “bong bing if you see anything suspicious ring 123456 and we will sort it, see it, say it sorted blah blah blah”

I never did spot any wimmin rail-workers. They are a rare breed – so to all the train spotters: keep an eye out lads.

Protesters gather in Minneapolis as governor calls on Trump to remove agents after shooting
    https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cjd0vl1d9vrt

Just see how much of this ultra-propaganda rhetoric from the BBC you can stomach before you close it in disgust.

    I got to this.

Here we have ‘Dr Jennifer Mensik Kennedy, president of the American Nurses Association (ANA)’ who never knew Pretti but the BBC decided to print what she had to say anyway.

Why ? – because she said this:
“In the moments up to his killing, he was taking care of a person who had fallen. Unfortunately, that’s when people decided to kill him.”

It’s a 100% blatant and utter lie. They shot him after they found the gun which he allegedly drew from his pocket whilst violently resisting arrest. The upgraded, loaded pistol with two oversized magazines, red-dot sight and special barrel which can take a silencer which is now only mentioned to say he had a permit.

Once again the BBC are printing outrageous lies in front-page ‘live updates’ to push their own agenda without any cross examination or comment because they think that putting it in quotes makes it OK. They know full well it is not true but wrote it anyway. It’s an ethically barren dirty trick which they used many times in Gaza.

These people are far-Left activist scum. They don’t care one bit about right and wrong.

Now that we have the satanic party in charge everything is topsey turvey.

Times radio reporting that ISIS brides and their children have been secretly imported from Syria to the UK. The excuse being that the prisons over there will shortly be taken over by ISIS and therefore we could have more Jihadi Bombs being bred over there and it is much better to have Jihadi Bombs being bred over here.

The Satanic Party would like to have UK children being nail-bombed over here when it would seem easier to me to resolve the fertility problem over there.

But I guess that is not how Satanic logic works. Repatriation – Kaboom!

Funding supports food, medicine, and shelters for displaced people and refugees. ”

That dosh seems to be doing the trick –

      …not…

Presumably any of our taxes due for Syria are deducted to pay for their accomodation over here – or are they?

Our BBC would dearly desire us to focus on their take on events in the US: Minneapolis protesters march against ICE as governor urges Trump to remove agents (Democrat cat’s paw Tabby Wilson, BBC) – that’s top story for their online news page.

Plus: Who was Alex Pretti, the intensive care nurse shot dead in Minneapolis? (BBC. Photo credit: Family handout)

As somewhat of a collector of the aptronym, I can’t help but note the utopian righteousness, nay sanctitude, of the names Renée Good now Alex Pretti.

‘This is horrifying’ – Minneapolis residents reel from second deadly shooting (the not so pleasantly picturesque named Ana Faguy, Minneapolis, BBC)

And for those who Depeche Mode-like, just can’t get enough (there’s one for the teenagers): Analysing the Minneapolis shooting frame by frame (BBC)

“There’s more…” as vintage Irish comic, Jimmy Cricket, would say…

But I’m getting vibes of post-match football punditry as per Match of the Day: That controversial VAR off-side call in the eighth minute of extra time, Garry, let’s watch it again frame by frame… and see if we can prove the Ref was wrong… leaving our pro-Liverpool bias to one side of course.

Despite BBC priorities the papers prefer to focus on Starmer’s nixing of the Mancunian Candidate.

Our Sir Keir demonstrates his mastery of the internal Party Rule Book: Greater Manchester Mayor Mr Burnham had sought permission to run in a by-election. But, amid claims he was plotting a leadership challenge, his request was snubbed by Labour’s National Executive Committee – explains, in rather official language, the in-house notice posted to the faithful – care of the Daily Mirror

Of all the major national titles, be they broadsheet or tabloid, right-leaning or leftist, only the globalist Financial Times and the BBC alter ego Guardian want to put American news above British politics as their top story.

Both these outlier titles, with perhaps different motives, sense an inflection point as to attitudes to mass immigration into the West, and whether we are permitted to stem it – with repercussions for Europe and Britain.

    They Get Woke

For our Guardianistas it’s a matter of faith: West bad, Third World migrants good – Unsurprisingly they quote their hero Barrack Obama: …called the killing a tragedy and a “wake up call… many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault”

    We Go Broke

For the FT any threat to open border hyper-immigration is simply a threat to the supply of cheap labour – the motive is the calculating corporate financial mind – not the bleeding ideological heart: Republicans break ranks as Trump faces backlash after shooting… Minnesota is ground zero in Trump’s immigration push

Of course the FT editorial is couched in leftist-friendly terms likewise quoting Obama – but venture beyond the boundary of this frontpage story and we notice: GDP link to MPs’ pay… Business secretary Peter Kyle has called for MPs’ pay to be linked to GDP to incentivise them into prioritising economic growth (FT) – and the Treasury will tell them…

Based on analysis from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), UK in a changing Europe, and Economics Help, immigration generally increases total UK GDP by expanding the labour force, raising tax revenues (projected at +£7.5 billion in 2028-29), and boosting demand. – thank you AI.

Despite the admission: While total GDP grows, the impact on GDP per capita is less certain and can be smaller

Your MP – soon to be profiting from a payrise – for making you poorer dear voter, but there’ll be more of you voters.

It’s always interesting to see how our enemies in the media choose to report the news…or choose not to…

Yesterday’s enormous “anti-asylum” demonstration in Crowborough, where thousands took to the streets, seems to have disappeared from the BBCs News channel altogether.

They do, however, keep us informed about things they support. So, we’re told that the UK is to join a major wind farm project…that a review has said that “class bias” should be illegal…gigs are planned to celebrate independent music venues…and Andy Burnham is “disappointed” that he has been blocked from becoming an MP.

The BBC, Sky, Channel 4 et-al were all equally reticent on reporting the anti-lockdown demo’s of a few years ago.

Thousands of us congregated outside Broadcasting House. There was noisy chanting and lots of placards, but somehow they still managed to miss us. Strangely, they did manage to report on a much smaller demo’ in Bucharest, that occurred on the same day, but avoided mentioning the one outside their windows.

Anyone might think they had an agenda…

That could be corrected: heritage Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders, South Africans and Rhodesians would be very welcome to come to Britain. However, British responsibility for India ended on 15th August 1947 and that country needs to hold on to its nationals to help it develop. The only ‘global’ thinking we should be doing is planning how to remigrate people to other parts of the World, regardless of where they came from.

      https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/dec/31/how-grooming-victims-were-failed-oldham-children

In 2003, long before the term “grooming gang” entered the lexicon, social workers in Oldham noticed a disturbing pattern: girls from local children’s homes were repeatedly going missing. Often, they were found in the same locations, being harboured by the same men. Each time the authorities thought they had got a grip on the problem, it reared its head again. By 2006, there were concerns that groups of offenders were targeting children at high schools. One girl, later referred to in court as Child X, fell into their clutches while truanting when she was 12 years old. By 14, she had been abused by 300 men and was addicted to crack cocaine and heroin.

      abused by 300 men
      abused by 300 men
      abused by 300 men

Almost two decades later, on New Year’s Day 2025, the fate of girls in this former mill town on the eastern fringes of Manchester caught the attention of the world’s richest man. GB News reported that the safeguarding minister, Jess Phillips, had told Oldham council the government would not fund a statutory inquiry into child sexual exploitation in the town. In response, Elon Musk said on X that Phillips should be in prison

^^ The answer is to BAN X now!

The review found no evidence to substantiate social media rumours that the Labour-led council was covering up the scale of the problem to protect its vote among the town’s Muslim population.

    Meanwhile in Minnesota

    Overview
In mid‑January 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice opened a criminal investigation into Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s administration, along with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and other officials, over accusations of obstructing federal immigration enforcement actions by ICE in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Around January 16–17, prosecutors initiated the probe, and by January 20 at least six grand‑jury subpoenas had been served to top state and city offices seeking documents and testimony on possible interference with federal officers.

Investigators are examining whether Walz, Frey, and others violated federal obstruction or conspiracy statutes by discouraging cooperation with ICE detainers, releasing criminal non‑citizens instead of transferring them to federal custody, or using rhetoric that allegedly incited public resistance and endangered agents. Federal leaders, including Acting Attorney General Pam Bondi, have defended the probe as necessary law enforcement, insisting that assaults or interference with officers will be prosecuted.

Walz and Frey call the investigation an intimidation campaign meant to stifle dissent, arguing their actions protect residents’ rights and ensure humane law administration. Legal analysts note the case is unusually political for a DOJ criminal probe, reflecting broader tensions between federal immigration priorities and state sanctuary‑style policies in Minnesota.

The inquiry has intensified after the January 24 fatal shooting of protester Alex Pretti by federal agents during anti‑ICE demonstrations, an event that triggered lawsuits from Minnesota officials over evidence handling and allegations that the effort is politically driven.

More recently, leaks and screenshots from Minnesota‑based Signal chat groups (published on January 25, 2026), have sparked a major controversy, alleging organized and illegal anti‑ICE activity linked to networks and democrat politicians opposing federal immigration enforcement in the Minneapolis area.

The story, first circulated by conservative reporters such as The Gateway Pundit and independent journalist Cam Higby, centers on screenshots from encrypted groups like MN ICE Watch, which coordinated real‑time tracking and harassment of ICE agents, sharing license plates, movements, and hotel locations, and directing activists to block vehicles or interfere with officers’ rest.

Some leaked documents and screenshots posted on social media sites indicate that former Gov. Tim Walz’s campaign strategist, Amanda Koehler, and even Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan (who, it is alleged, uses the online pseudonym “Flan”) served as leaders in these Signal chat groups under various aliases, though these details remain unverified by legacy media. These chats involved thousands of members organized through neighborhood subgroups that fed intelligence to a larger central network.

Lots of politicians commenting on Suella and the others who have changed Parties.

Is it not possible for people to change their minds.
If you voted conservative and changed to voting Labour is that allowed.
Where is the rule that says once you are a conservative you cannot ever change your mind and must remain a Conservative forever.

Are they trying to say that if you previously voted conservative you are not allowed to change your mind and vote Reform.
It’s also a factor that Reform haven’t been going for all that long so it wasn’t an option for Suella until the last few years.

Finally, the politicians joining Reform are not just any tom dick or Harry, they are the type who were on the right (probably a total of about 20) of the Conservative Party (not sure about Zahawi though)
The likes of Conservative Dominick Grieve would never be allowed to join Reform because he’s too far to the left however, an mp like Esther McVey would be welcome I reckon.
Most conservatives are libdem now and wouldn’t get into Reform.

      Evening Fed,

I think that the Reform party is a busted flush now. Many politicians of all stripes have joined them , each intending to mould the party towards their personal ideal. They should re-name themselves the coalition party: like any coalition, they have neither the consensus to move in any particular direction, or enact any meaningful policies. The country needs a party, and a leader, a long way to the right of what Reform have become.

I can only point out the problem, at this time I do not see the answer.

There’s certain to be another three years of marxist mayhem, total British failure and possibly revolt, but Orville is the sort of coward who will never admit that he’s wrong, so the very normal Centre-right MPs, and of course, British Citizens in councils etc., who can make a difference, will just have to get together to rid the UK of our really evil, marxist illness forever.

If they don’t, then my 78 years will have to continue until there’s a nuclear bomb or something…
