That’s 700,000 x student loans at x thousands £ a year each that has been lifted out of everyone’s pockets and will never be repaid by the recipients under current conditions.

No wonder this government are now looking at ways to load tax onto as many sectors, pubs, farmers, elderly etc. as they can!

Simply an outrageous lefty attempt to “buy” as many future student Labour voters as possible.

    It’s 5.1% today.

CN : The claim that every unemployment spike and double-digit inflation spike occurred under Conservatives is incorrect.
The 2008–11 unemployment rise began under Labour (from 5.3% to 7.9% under Brown),
and double-digit inflation peaked at 24.2% in 1975 under Labour (Wilson).

I have been a non-voter for over 30 years. But one single issue would influence me to vote – a party that wanted to investigate vaccine and covid fraud. Advance UK have such a policy:

Presumably the Heritage Party are similar.

If there was a strong remigration policy too then that would be icing on the cake.

Reform now off the list. Funny how the political commentariat thinks this makes the dead legacy parties more attractive.

7 hours ago : Asylum Seeker Guilty of Two Rapes in Nottinghamshire Park

Sheraz Malik, a 28-year-old asylum seeker from Pakistan,
was convicted today at Birmingham Crown Court of raping the woman twice on June 29, 2025, at Sutton Lawn park in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
    She had been left briefly with a group including Malik;
prosecutors described how he grabbed her by the neck and hair, struck her,
and ignored her pleas of ‘no, no, no.’
Malik claimed consent, but the jury rejected this after three hours of deliberation,
acquitting him on one charge while forensic evidence confirmed sexual activity.

““It can be now reported that Malik is an asylum seeker who was born in Pakistan
and lived in Italy, Germany and France before coming to the UK.”

I suddenly started getting regular facebook ads for a local butcher. I realised it must be because I stopped there to buy a pie once not long ago.

I’ve also noticed how google rarely returns the most relevant results when I search. I get all sorts of other things including AI patronising me in some way about what I should and should not do.

I’ve started using duck duck go and now it actually searches for what I ask it to.

        “What are nudges?
Nudges mean thinking harder about the way people approach decisions and using those insights to design policy. In 2010, the Institute for Government set out some of those approaches in its MINDSPACE report, which suggests that both the messenger and the message were important and that defaults mattered. It remains the Institute’s most downloaded report.

The approach depends a lot on experimentation, and the Nudge Unit has championed wider use of experiments in government.”

        https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/article/explainer/nudge-unit

        Why ‘nudge’?
It is called ‘nudge’ after the book by Richard Thaler (who went on to win the Nobel prize in economics) and Cass Sunstein which set out how people are not the rational economic actors beloved of conventional economic theory – but can be influenced by “choice architecture” into making better choices in their own interests.

Asylum seeker found guilty of raping ‘vulnerable’ woman in park

So I see this story on the front page of GB news and wonder if the BBC are hiding it for their agenda.

So I check the UK news page. Nothing. The most important things we should are apparently that singing can overcome teenage isolation, what to expect from the BAFTA nominations and Beckhams have been seen together. And a totally insignificant smear piece against Trump son.

So I ask my slippery new friend AI if they reported it. ‘Yes, they reported it extensively’ it confidently told me. So after I pinned it down a bit more, it finally told me:

‘The story regarding Sheraz Malik appeared on the BBC England and Nottinghamshire sections rather than the primary UK-wide News front page (top-level homepage).’. Then – without me even asking – it made an excuse as to why: ‘Major national events, such as the Gaza national security risk and US-Venezuela migrant news, occupied the main UK-wide headlines during that period.

Sorry AI, they are not UK in the slightest and none of them are on the UK page.

So to get to the ‘England’ page you have to go to the main news, then ‘UK’ and then it’s in small letters under ‘News UK’. I never even noticed it before. I just assumed all the important stories would be here.

Bravely I clicked ‘England’ to see what was even less important than the Beckhams smiling for the camera. And look what I found !. The far-Left BBC even surpassed my own expectations for how low they will go this time.

‘Nottinghamshire Police said Adedapo Adegbola fatally stabbed Stephanie Irons at her home on the evening of 21 October in Westdale Lane West, Mapperley, Nottinghamshire.’
Adedapo is black and pictures are easily available. The BBC do not use any. We just get a picture of the white victim.

Girl, 9, stabbed to death in street, court hears
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp87dpm2l0jo
‘Lilia Valutyte died after being stabbed in the chest while she played outside a shop where her mother was working on Fountain Lane, Boston, Lincolnshire, on 28 July 2022.
Deividas Skebas, 26, formerly of Thorold Street, Boston, admits killing Lilia, but denies murder, claiming his responsibility was diminished by his mental state.’

Remains of woman found in bin bags, jury told
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3943emmk8wo
Anna Podedworna, 40, of Boyer Street, Derby, denies the murder of her partner Izabela Zablocka, who was reported missing in 2010 after moving from Poland to the city.’

I wonder what percentage of people browsing BBC news actually go down to that sub-level. Not many I suspect – and the BBC will know that. So they are hiding the agenda topics from everyone else.

Provind again that they don’t give a shit about any of those people and children who got murdered or raped. If it doesn’t fir their ideological agenda, they hide it.

It seems that Nottingham has turned into a real shithole through immigration now.

Bid to stem the influx edition

France debates under-15s social media ban endorsed by Macron… The French move is part of a worldwide trend… In Europe, Denmark, Greece, Spain and Ireland are also considering following the Australian example. (BBC)

Blimey, it’s almost as though there’s some shady supranational managerial elite running our lives – national democracies are a sham – orders are coming from somewhere outside – and we’re really being ruled by a steathy shadow proto-one-world government.

Remember folks’ it’s not a conspiracy theory – if it’s true.

Of course the French have to go for 15 not the usual 16 because they still want to retire to their state pensions at 45.

BBC stalwart Hugh Schofield goes on to give us a detailed (and rather pointless, given the above observations about how copy cat local laws eminate from the globalist cabal) tutorial-like synopsis of the peculiarities of the law-making process according to the French constitution.

How much say do individual nations retain in making their own laws within the EU, we wonder? Ah, there was the very crux of the Brexit debate…

Italy parcel tax backfires… Rome’s bid to stem the influx of cheap consumer goods from China by taxing low-value packages has backfired, with parcels rerouted elsewhere in the EU to dodge the levy. (FT – aka The Brussels Trumpet) – dodge the levy…

“Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry”

“Mamma mia!” the only way Italy could have got anywhere with stemming the influx (as Starmer will remind you re immigration) would have been international cooperation.

Ah, Sir Keir, our very own Arthur Pewtey of ‘smash the gangs’ – there’s one for the teenagers. Look him up.

But if you dare to leave the EU protection racket – things can get a bit spiteful: France tries to block UK missiles in Ukraine – frets the wet Tory war-mongering tendency in the Telegraph. Go on then, we’ve come this far, we’ve got a little blue and yellow flag in our button hole, we may as well shoot a nuke at Moscow!

    So do we think:
    a) The French are peaceniks and believe a ceasefire may be on the cards – best stop poking the bear?
    Or:
    b) There’s a reawakening of that auld alliance betwixt Paris and the Kremlin?

Nope, neither. The reasoning is nothing so romantic: France wants money to be spent within the EU (Telegraph)

I’m guessing other contributors hereabouts have picked up on: BBC to use iPlayer to catch licence fraudsters (Telegraph) – iPlayer – if only Steve Jobs at Apple had copyrighted that name.

It all gets a bit predictably sinister: A report by the public accounts committee… accused it of “not doing enough” to enforce… must provide email address, date of birth and postcode (Telegraph) – NB, the TV licence only required your name and address.

Prove you’re over 16* to use the interweb? (* 15 in France)

So Digital ID not compulsory now, eh?

Bar code me now, you know you want to.

Notice the sly and misleading terminology used: “up to £550 million is estimated to have been lost through evasion”. What evidence is there that this is evasion? It is not evasion if someone does not need a licence in the first place, only if they do need one but have failed to buy it. Revenues are falling because large numbers of people, now in the millions, simply do not need a license anymore because they do not watch or record live television or use iPlayer.

Fact: the BBC were using terrorism regulation – the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act – to try and identify so-called license avoiders in Northern Ireland more than a decade ago. This allegedly included monitoring internet traffic to identify iPlayer activity.

For some reason I had a quick scan of that article. It was a typical BBC take on the modern liberated woman scenario. The married woman has an affair and ends up divorced then abandons her children and goes round the World having affairs with men she meets. The article doesn’t contain a shred of what could be called a moral stance although the woman does say she regretted the affair and divorce, she doesn’t seem to have held back on her World tour. The implicit suggestion is that all women should do the same. I suppose it aligns with BBC ethics and standards.

The BBC stopped reporting news years ago.

Instead the headline asks a question, then goes on to discuss the issues but never answers its own question.

All we get is its so called analysis which is only an opinion.

      Let me get this straight:

      1. prior administrations deported millions of people, and riots were basically nonexistent

      2. the moment trump took office, a coordinated campaign by politicians/legacy media *directly called for resistance to ICE*

      3. once riots happen and people are die, the spotlight shifts to stopping deportations and defunding ICE

If this was such a crime against humanity, why did no one riot in 2024?

The intention behind the unrest is NOT empathy.

Empathy is being manufactured on false grounds to achieve political aims. And people are getting hurt.”

🔶 What Jewish Erasure looks like: BBC Edition
🔶 Case study: Holocaust Remembrance Day
🔸 Step 1: The BBC said:
⛔️ “to commemorate the 6 million people who were murdered by the Nazi regime.”

🔶 Step 2 The revision within ~30 minutes
🔸 After criticism, the BBC changed it to:
⛔️ “6 million mainly Jewish people.”

🔶 Step 3 The historical fact
🔸 The Holocaust was the systematic murder of six million Jews.
    🔸 Not “people.”
    🔸 Not “mainly Jewish.”
🔸 All six million were Jews.

🔶 Step 4 Why this matters
🔸 Millions of others were murdered by the Nazis — Roma, disabled people, Poles, Soviet POWs, political dissidents.
🔸 That does not change what the Holocaust was.
🔸 Precision does not exclude other victims.
🔸 Abstraction erases the target of the genocide.

    ⛔️ Conclusion: Language shapes memory.
⛔️ 80 years after the Holocaust and Jews are are being erased from Holocaust remembrance days.
    ⛔️ That isn’t neutrality — it’s JEWHATRED.

That was the R4 Today prog , but tweeters say BBC breakfast did something similar

They had a speaker from Bosnia. No doubt a Muslim.
Very little mention about the reason why this day is so important to Jewish people.

The defence application to have the background details censored sounds as though they were hard not to concur – and again refusal might have got a successful appeal .

The outcome makes it harder to appeal – but in thr current climate she nigh well have achieved ‘fairness ‘ .

    “Rupert Lowe MP
I have been forensically digging through these asylum contracts, and one stands out to me. It is absolutely staggering. Please read on.

£1,593,535,200 for ‘Provision of Bridging Accommodation and Travel Services’ awarded to ‘Corporate Travel Management (North) Limited’.

According to the official record, they’re based in Bradford…

    Let’s dive into it.

It’s related to the Bibby Stockholm, housing illegal migrants on a barge off the coast of Dorset. Bradford is certainly a strange place to base such an enormous contract.

What is all of that money, OUR money, being spent on?

All this information is taken from official documents, labelled ‘sensitive’.

The illegals must be provided with a ‘varied daily menu’, taking into account all religious needs. If the illegal arrives late and missed the evening meal? They must be provided with a ‘light snack’.

What about cleaning? A ‘cleaning programme’ must be delivered to the standards set by the ‘British Institute of Cleaning Science’.

Routine cleaning must be provided, and their cabins are cleaned on a ‘twice weekly basis’.

A ‘house-keeping laundry service’ is included, with a maximum ’48-hour turn around’’

Information on the local area is provided – including amenities and facilities. Illegals are assisted to make contact with a local GP surgery and dentist – they are assisted to do this.

The illegals are to be taken and returned from medical appointments.

A ‘programme of organised recreational activities’ are provided, seven days a week. Activities available ‘morning, after, and evening each day’.

Full Wi-Fi coverage is required, with a bank of mobile phones available ’24/7′.

Transport requests will be taken at short notice, all day every day. The transport must be ‘punctual’.

‘Adequate transport links’ must be provided to assist the illegals into the local area – and booking of transport services must be delivered for those ‘who wish to travel beyond the local area’.

Warnings against ‘unconscious bias’ are made, and it’s adamant that ‘the interests of the Service Users are best served.’

It goes on and on and on. Are you happy that your tax is being spent on these services for illegals? For transport? Recreational activities? Shipping them into local communities to roam the streets?

One of these illegal migrants was sentenced for sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a beach. There will be many, many, many others.

‘Corporate Travel Management (North) Limited’, based in Bradford, received this astronomical contract. A strange company name for such a service. What was the procurement process? How was this decided? I have put these questions to the Home Office, and I am demanding answers.

The Bradford firm was told on the 24th of February 2023 that they had been awarded this £1.5 billion contract, excluding VAT (with an extension option.)

Who was the Home Secretary at this time?

    Reform’s Suella Braverman.

Who was the immigration minister at this time?

    Reform’s Robert Jenrick.

They were the ministers, they were responsible.”

I now use Grok a fair bit, especially ‘news’ that is evolving, or when the BBC sticks its oar in.

On a few topics, like Minnesota, I have found it clearly assigns source priority to msm sources, and/or has been programmed to err way on the side of caution with legacy titles or political claims rushed out.

So much so I have had to provide a link to a plain fact, admittedly getting a polite if abrupt acknowledgement.

Still, better than Verify getting a bunch of gamer teens with no real life experience to go full CSI:W1A on incomplete, grainy or fake footage to stick it to anything Trump like.

If there’s one learning lesson you need to take away in 2026 it’s that the truth doesn’t matter anymore and reality isn’t real.
People will invent narratives and facts to suit desired objectives and if enough people agree, that’s the new reality. People who point out that the emperor has no clothes will be crushed. Katherine Maher of Wikimedia said it best herself. “Our reverence for the truth is a hindrance to getting things done.” (Paraphrasing)
We’re living in a world where lies don’t matter anymore. There are only words and how effective they are to reaching desired outcomes. People don’t care about the truth. They care about achieving their goals.
        We’re living in Demon times.

        Take a bow, BBC.

It matters that the BBC essentially participates in this by implying it’s a restoration of some kind of inherent justice, when in fact it plays into the hands of a country that treats Chagossians appallingly. A small choice of words perhaps but also important and revealing.
