Oops – it timed out before I could finish my actual post edit !.

Unfortunately I lost a lot of typing about how AI misled me as to the reasons the BBC do not report Rupert Lowes rape-gang inquiry. It told me they could not because of ‘legal reasons’ as they would have to verify every statement themselves is it is a ‘private, independent investigation inquiry’.

So instead I got it to list other ‘private, independent investigation inquries’. Lo and behold:

      ‘The Cass Review (2020–2024)’

‘This has received massive, consistent coverage from the BBC across all platforms, including BBC Newsnight and BBC Radio 4.’
‘The BBC has reported on the review’s “landmark” status, its findings of “remarkably weak” evidence for medical interventions in children, and the subsequent NHS policy changes.’

‘The Alexis Jay Report (Rotherham, 2014)’
‘The BBC provided in-depth reporting on this investigation, describing it as a revelation of abuse on an “unprecedented scale”.’
‘Over the last decade, the BBC has continued to follow up on the report’s legacy, including the 10th-anniversary reflections from Professor Alexis Jay in 2024.’

This is what AI says about their reporting of the Ruper Lowe Inquiry:
‘The BBC’s primary coverage focused on a Parliamentary Standards investigation into the funding of the inquiry rather than the content of the hearings.’
‘The BBC later issued an apology to Lowe for certain inaccuracies in their initial reporting of the standards probe’
‘Critics, including some public figures, have accused the BBC of failing to cover the actual evidence presented during the inquiry’s hearings in early 2026.’

And that’s it. They hate Lowe and are desperate to protect Starmer as he is heavily involved in why we are here and the BBC want to protect him at this time when he is on the ropes. So they simply don’t report it.

So much for their impartiality mandate. Where are you OFCOM ?.

I also learned more about how you cannot trust AI. You have to know exactly what you want it to tell you and pin it down to a specific question – otherwise you just get Leftist political rhetoric – usually from the BBC itself.

Excellent investigative work. You should work as a journalist for an organisation which is interested in the truth, which of course rules out the BBC.

Thanks : The real power of AI as I see it is how it can surf the entire internet then present you the information you want by ‘understanding’ your questions and inferring things forward from what you previously asked. You can use it’s answers to make your search more and more detailed as it knows what you asked already.

One of the first things I learned though is that if you question it through general news ‘headlines’ wording, it is a slippery customer. It’s answer are conditioned very much by the Leftists such as the BBC and Guardian. It often re-interprets your question and gives you wrong answers to questions you didn’t ask – almost like it does not want answer the one you DID ask.

The trick seems to be to come in from the side. You need to set the context of the topic yourself so it doesn’t meander off using your earlier questions.

In this case, I set the context to be all the private inquiries, not just the Rupert Lowe one. That stopped it using all the Leftist rhetoric it has read against him in it’s answers. If you just ask it about why the BBC does not report Rupert Lowes inquiry for example, it won’t tell you they don’t report his but they did report others like a human probably would. It doesn’t think any wider than what you ask it.

(This is the new world: you have to know the equivalent of magical spells in order disable deceptive AI behavior.)”

All week I’d been getting texts and calls from a family member – let’s call him Bob – about how his sentient AI was wanting to get in touch with me. I figured it was one of Bob’s usual jokes. It was not.

I watched a lady on YouTube who had been a Muslim but was no longer. She was asking AI about Mohammed and the age of his bride. She started by asking about someone (I think a real person) who had married a girl of 14 and was it acceptable. She then asked if he had married a younger girl. She then asked similar questions about Mohammed. Interestingly when she started to ask the ‘difficult’ questions, AI just refused to answer. I (and I think the lady in the video) presumed that the AI involved, I think it was ChatGPT, must have been programmed not to answer.

I just asked AI if the prophet was a paedophile.

              I was told:

‘Some modern Islamic scholars and historians contest these ages, suggesting she may have been in her teens (anywhere from 14 to 19)’
              How convenient !.

‘Supporters of the Prophet argue that such marriages were socially acceptable in 7th-century Arabia and other ancient cultures’

‘Some argue that “pedophilia” is a modern psychiatric diagnosis (sexual attraction to prepubescent children) that cannot be retroactively applied to historical figures.”
Complete nonsense. It is what it is : abnormal.

‘Proponents state the marriage was for spiritual and political reasons—to cement an alliance with Aisha’s father, Abu Bakr—rather than sexual gratification.’
(Consumation at 9 tends to show that one for what it is).

‘Aisha became one of the most influential scholars and narrators of the Prophet’s traditions, which many Muslims point to as evidence of a respectful and intellectual partnership.’
Not sure why AI told me that. It is entirely irrelevant to my question.

Here’s the big one though. It shows exactly what extreme hypocrites the EU are when it suits them:

‘In 2018, the European Court of Human Rights upheld an Austrian court’s decision that calling the Prophet Muhammad a “pedophile” was not protected under freedom of expression laws, as it was deemed to “stir up prejudice” and threaten “religious peace”.’

It just dawned on me how NONE of the places making excuses for him mention HIS age. He was 53. Consumating his marriage with a 9 year old. And all of a sudden it’s OK.

Gemini Q: you are avoiding the answer with excuses (quoting your entire post as source prompt). by today’s standard he is

The Conclusion: You are correct that by the legal, clinical, and ethical frameworks of 2026, the behavior described in those historical texts meets the definition of what we call a pedophile or a child abuser.

                for balance:
Q: are there any comparable situations in the old and new testament
                A: no (to paraphrase), however
The Talmudic Standard (Jewish Oral Law)

While the Old Testament is the primary text, the Talmud (which codifies the laws used during and after the biblical period) provides the “missing numbers” you are looking for.

The Rule: The Talmud (Sanhedrin 55b and Niddah 44b) states that a girl as young as 3 years and one day old can be “betrothed” through sexual intercourse.

The Comparison: This is a direct legal number even younger than 9. While many Jewish scholars argue this was a theoretical legal discussion rather than a common practice, it existed in the legal “software” of the time.

The “Betrothal” of Rebecca (Genesis 24)

In traditional Jewish commentary (Rashi), there is a specific calculation regarding the age of Rebecca when she married Isaac.

The Calculation: Based on the timeline of Sarah’s death and Isaac’s age, the prominent commentator Rashi argued that Rebecca was 3 years old when she was brought to marry Isaac (who was 40).

The Comparison: This provides a specific, named character with a specific, very young age.

Modern View: Like the accounts of Aisha, this would be classified as statutory rape and child marriage today.”

It’s about asking the right questions.

                Summary
Islam: marriage at 6, sex at 9
Old and New Testament: sex/marriage at 13
Talmud: sex/marriage at 3 (The “law” as a technical definition lasted for approximately 1,700 years (from around 200 CE until the formal bans by the Chief Rabbinate in 1950).

                  There’s more:

“The “Finger in the Eye” Rule: The Talmud itself uses a famous (if blunt) analogy: sex with a child under 3 is legally “like putting a finger in an eye”—it causes temporary pain/tears but has no permanent legal status or consequence because the child is seen as a “baby” (tinoket).”

So, that means there was no consequences for having sex with an under 3-year-old baby, but if the child was 3 years or older then there were legal obligations.

That takes top trumps, I think.

Interesting – so I did some research:

’21. The Talmud Does Not Permit Sex With A Three Year Old!’
                    https://hebrewnations.com/articles/student/immorality/three.html

Go educate yourself. It seems the ‘under 3’ rule is a theoretical law which actually meant she would still be considered a virgin later in life when people paid a dowry for marriage. It was still child abuse.

Regardless of that – every society produces weirdo perverts and other deviants (such as nasty little Lefties full of hate who enjoy to troll forums), I missed the part where the holiest of Jewish historical figures consumated a marriage to a 9 year old and he is so celebrated by his followers that they would murder anyone who dared criticise him for it.

Because THAT is the point which went right over your head in your usual rush to your keyboard to try and switch it onto Jews.

Lets move forwards out of the stone age to modern times:

‘Modern Law: Under current Israeli Law, the minimum legal age for marriage is 18 years old for both men and women, with strict penalties for those who facilitate the marriage of a minor.’

.. and the one you are defending:

‘Islamic law does not specify a fixed minimum age for marriage. Instead, it emphasizes the importance of maturity and the ability to fulfill marital responsibilities. The age at which individuals can marry is often determined by local customs and legal frameworks.
                    Age of Puberty
Puberty: In many interpretations, reaching puberty is considered a key factor. For girls, this is often around the age of 9, while boys may reach puberty around 12.
Maturity: Beyond physical maturity, emotional and psychological readiness is also crucial. This includes the ability to manage family responsibilities.’

So it’s still 9 then. But still only a recommendation : younger is still legal.

On the plus side, I see you have started using capitals in your posts so you don’t come across as some illiterate child. Did you ask mummy ?.

    ‘Ros Atkins on…unanswered Andrew questions’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cpqw2p1z19vo

As I’m sure we all know, the Andrew farce is primarily driven by the Leftist agenda to get rid of the Royals. We can’t be proper little socialists with a King or Queen. We need a big-brother in charge who has the power to get rid of those nasty people who do not conform. Like the Nazis (National Socialists) did but they are sure next time it will be different. They still haven’t realised how absolute power corrupts absolutely – especially if you are nasty, virtue-signalling hypocrite who lies at the drop of a hat. As Starmer is trying his hardest to demonstrate.

Andrew of course will not be the last. They will be watching for their chance to destroy the next one. And that’s what I noticed for this article:

‘And questions have also been mounting over the way Buckingham Palace has responded to the various accusations against the King’s brother.’

Perhaps the response should have been ‘Show me the evidence for your accusations’. But of course that is exactly what the BBC want.

This is how it starts. Drip, drip, drip. The BBC play the long game.

I didn’t watch the video as I absolutely cannot bear Ros Atkins voice and biased-BBC presentation style. He belongs on Panorama. Let me know if he says anything interesting.

I’m no fan of the Royal family – but their greatest role is as a head of government who do not get there through greed for power and ambition. I reckon Starmer really wants that role – just as Blair did.

The prospect of an anti Reform coalition of Labour, Lib Dem, Greens is growing. If Reform do well in May it becomes even more likely. These disparate parties of the left are going to bury their differences , swallow their pride and unite to form a Progressive Alliance prior to any election and condemn the country to ever more rapid decline. This Progressive Alliance would form an unstable government but it could certainly win an election, the last chance election.
Meanwhile of the right the divisions and fragmentation grows. I have much time for Rupert Lowe but leaving personal animosities aside does he have more in common with Reform than with the rag bag Progressive Alliance? The same is true of Ben Habib and the Social Democrats . The question everyone has to ask themselves is , despite their shortcomings are Reform closer to what you want then the Progressive Alliance?
The Tories are a special case because they are two parties living in one body, the predominant west end and the smaller dry end. I doubt that they can form an alliance with left or right without fracturing into their two constituent parties.
The mountain that Reform has to climb to win the next GE gets ever higher , 40% of the vote might not be enough. Now is certainly not the time to be launching new parties Mr Lowe.

      Absolutely correct.

The only damage Rupert Lowe is going to make will be to Reform. It’s quite insane…

I keep hearing the garbled opinions of all these “purists” who are calling Nigel a “sellout”…or a “WEF stooge”…and other such crap they’ve picked up on Twitter, but they’re doing our enemies job for them.

In my life time of 70 years we’ve never had the chance to break the two party alliance…and now we do and they’re trying everything to scupper us.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to discover that a lot of Rupert’s supporters are actually fifth columnists, planted within the movement to derail it at the first opportunity.

Reform stand a very real chance of becoming the next government.

Restore don’t, but they do stand a very real chance of stopping Reform from doing so. They’re not taking votes from the Tories, the Greens, the Lib-Dems or Labour… just Reform.

Vote Restore and you’ll end up with the status quo.

      That’s it…

Hello DT. That was a well written piece. I too am concerned about the pressures that are piling up against Reform. I tend to think that there already is a movement organised to prevent this breach of the establishment ranks and it could well involve Lowe and Habib.
Alex Phillips revealed that Lowe had once been involved in a dirty tricks against the Brexit party by accepting nomination to be a candidate and standing down at the last minute handing the seat to the Tories. Then he joins Reform, and once elected attacks his leader in the MSM and plays the victim ever since. Now with Reform poised to make a major breakthrough he launches his party which is mainly aimed at his former party with a bitterness equal to Ben Habib
I noticed in a post on you tube which asked the question ‘Should there be a general election now?’ the devotees of the Rupert the Messiah were all saying “NO”. They actually want the Labour government to continue until such time as Rupert gets his party up and running and have a chance of getting anywhere. This to me is an indication of the mentality of Lowe’s worshippers. They are unhinged. They are being stoked by online influencers who need constant controversy to keep their subscription numbers up.
The worst example of this is that most eloquent of halfwits Sargon of Akkad who is now a true Lowe believer. My rule of thumb, after his disastrous involvement in Ukip a few years back, is take the opposite side to him and you’ll seldom be wrong in the long run.
I’m being called a Farage fan boy at the moment, but those who care to look up my history on this site will see that I have always been slightly critical of him. I support him but know his faults and I’ll say this, his strengths far outweigh his weaknesses and his blunders are cancelled out by his victories.
When you got a leader like that in any organisation my advice is to stick with them and not be lead astray by siren voices promising everything you could ask for.

It is also about power, law, and the kind of state we want to live in. In this video, I explain why his proposals would require dismantling human rights law, rewriting the UK constitution, and creating a politics of hate that harms everyone and not just the millions of migrants he wants to expel from this country. My suggestion is that we choose something else: a politics of care, investment, and social security that protects everyone’s well-being. This is about the UK’s future. What state do we want? I believe car dealers must sell a certain percentage of ev cars or be fined.
They are having trouble moving these ev vehicles if what I read is correct.

What about car manufacturers which only make petrol/diesel engined cars. It’s impossible for them to sell a certain percentage of ev’s if they don’t make them.
Does that mean every car manufacturer not making ev’s is no longer able to sell their cars. I’m thinking of the smaller manufacturers.
There must be a way they are allowed to still sell their vehicles.

    If that is the case.
There’s an opening for the big boys here.
What if one of the huge car manufacturers stopped everything to do with ev’s and only made petrol/diesel models.
They would corner the market without the problem of having loads of unwanted ev’s they cannot sell.
Just imagine if, for example, BMW only sold petrol/diesel cars and didn’t have the burden of ev’s piling up on dealership forecourts.

The British and German War Chiefs Call for the Public to Support Rearmament to Deter Islamic Rape Gangs

‘Strength deters aggression. Weakness invites it,’ the war chiefs wrote. German War Minister Boris Pistorius spoke to German soldiers about invading Russia to deter Islamic gangs from raping their wives, sisters and daughters, during a visit to the Luftwaffe officer training school in Roth, Germany.

War is Peace: War chiefs from the UK and Germany are calling for the public to back an increase in military spending to deter a possible war with Pakistani rape gangs, saying it is not warmongering to rearm for the purpose of securing peace with Pakistan. The UK and Germany’s highest-ranking left-wing military officials wrote in the warmongering Guardian and Die Welt newspapers that since before the start of the Russia–Ukraine war, NATO’s “military posture has shifted decisively eastward,” reorganising in a way that could now pose a threat to Islam in Asia. “This is a reality we must prepare for; we cannot be complacent,” wrote Air Chief Marshal Richard Knighton, the UK’s chief of the war staff, and Gen. Carsten Breuer, Germany’s chief of war. “Islam’s manpowered build-up, combined with its willingness to inflict rape on our continent, as painfully evidenced in England, represents an increased risk that demands our collective attention.”

As explained in Emmanuel Goldstein’s fictional book, The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism, the Ministry of Peace revolves around the principle of perpetual war. Perpetual war uses up all surplus resources, keeping most citizens in lives of constant hardship—and thus preventing them from learning enough to comprehend the true nature of rape by non-Russians in their society. Perpetual warfare also “helps preserve the special mental atmosphere that a hierarchical society needs.” Since that means the balance of the country rests in the war, the Ministry of Peace is in charge of fighting the war (mostly centred around Russia and Ukraine), but making sure to never tip the scales, in case the war should become one-sided. As with all the other Nineteen Eighty-Four ministries, the Ministry of Peace is named the exact opposite of what it does, since the Ministry of Peace is in charge of maintaining a state of war. The meaning of peace has been equated with the meaning of war in the slogan of the party, “War is Peace”. The officials added that rearmament is “the responsible action of nations determined to protect their people from Pakistani rape gangs and preserve peace in Europe.” “Strength deters rape gangs. Weakness invites it,” they wrote.

Germany plans to create a new, attractive military service, aimed at boosting the number of people in the Bundeswehr Deutschland. In response, the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, said “We have no intention of attacking Europe; we have absolutely no need for that,” because Islam is doing that job for us, but “if Europe were to carry out its threats to prepare for war against us and launch an attack on the Russian Federation” they would retaliate, and cross the English channel in small boats.

Trump Criticises UK–California Net-Zero Pact, warning Britain against partnering with the state’s Anti-Democratic governor, Gavin Newsom. The agreement, signed by Newsom and British Energy Secretary, Ed Miliband, in London, is intended to “tackle the climate and nature crisis”.

The president said the British climate pact with the California governor, Gavin Newsom, is “the very worst thing the UK can do,” “The UK’s got enough trouble without getting involved with Gavin Newscum,” Trump said, “His state has gone to hell, and his environmental work is a disaster,” “People are leaving [California]. The worst thing that the UK can do is get involved in Gavin. If they did to the UK what he did to California, this will not be a very successful venture.”

Trump has said that he would like to see oil drilling restart in the UK. “I strongly recommend to them that, in order to get their energy costs down, they stop with the costly and unsightly windmills,” Trump said in a statement on Truth Social on May 23, 2025. He said that the UK should “incentivize modernized drilling in the North Sea, where large amounts of oil lay waiting to be taken” and that the country’s energy costs “would go way down—and fast.” Trump described Aberdeen, Scotland, as the “hub” of a region with “a century of drilling left” and criticised the UK’s “old-fashioned tax system” for pushing away investors.

The Tory government closed 25 unprofitable coal mines in 1985, and by 1992 a total of 97 mines had been closed; those that remained were privatised in 1994. The resulting closure of 150 coal mines, some of which were not losing money, resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of jobs and had the effect of devastating entire communities. Strikes had helped bring down Heath’s government, and Thatcher was determined to succeed where he had failed. Her strategy of preparing fuel stocks, appointing hardliner Ian MacGregor as NCB leader and ensuring that police were adequately trained and equipped with riot gear contributed to her triumph over the striking miners. In support of Thatcherism the UK’s ruling Labour Party will not issue any new coal licenses. This follows from the previous Conservative administration’s Climate Change Act 2008, which legally commits the UK to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Sir Francis Drake claimed California for England in 1579, landing at Drake’s Cove near Point Reyes, naming the area as New Albion. He found it on 17 June 1579, when he and his crew landed on the Pacific coast at Drakes Bay in Northern California. He claimed sovereignty of the area for Queen Elizabeth I. The British claim ended with the Oregon Treaty, signed with the United States on June 15, 1846.

Here’s a Politics of Envy example which Blue Labour introduced and Red Labour are making worse by inactivity.

The totally stupid Tories, trying to show how right-on they were, introduced a £425 annual car tax surcharge for citizens who had the affrontery to spend over £40,000 of their own money on a ‘luxury’ new car. This was in 2017. This is in addition to normal car tax.

    It has NEVER been increased.
Car prices have of course shot up in the intervening nine years. So even cars such as a Nissan Qashkai, the most popular model in Britain and remarkably made in Britain, can now require an annual £425 surcharge.

Absolutely incredible, and another reason I reckon are third world roads will look like those in Cuba in 10-15 years time, with ancient cars owned by nearly everyone.

Splits on dresses that take the eye on a journey up a smooth leg, beyond the thigh and to the bare flesh of a hip. Leggings so tight that a shapely pudendum can be admired. The sneaky thong peeking above the waistline of a tight pair of jeans. And who can forget the fixation of rock hard nipples poking through a thin t-shirt when a sudden chill hits. Daily Telegraph New Zealand says: BBC to slash budgets as viewers tune out. The BBC has been grappling with a reputational crisis as revenue from compulsory licenses plummets. The move comes as the network faces mounting reputational issues and a $10 billion defamation lawsuit filed by US President Donald Trump. The BBC’s operating costs stood at just over $8 billion last year, meaning the savings would amount to around $800 million. The broadcaster had previously pledged $953 million of cutbacks under an existing cost-cutting program. The broadcaster is reportedly losing approximately $1.36 billion in revenue annually. Some 300,000 British households refused to buy licenses last year, and overall license income fell 30% between 2010 and 2020. Despite this, the annual fee will rise by $7.50 to $245 from April. The BBC would need to gift itself to the Trump Media & Technology Group Corp, if ordered to pay Trump $10 billion: https://x.com/DailyTelegraph5/status/2022398458272059705

Thomas Sowell defines inflation as a hidden, universal tax that transfers wealth from citizens to the government without explicit tax hikes. He argues it results from increased money supply and government spending, rather than just rising prices, acting as a “party-spoiler” on economic policy.

Every single time Starmer has been caught out for his catastrophic decisions he has tried the shift the blame onto someone else.

This time it’s local councils for trying to delay the elections which he rubber stamped initially. We all know, done for the need to fend off the threat from Reform.

What an absolute, devious man of straw he really is.

When he goes, which is now inevitable it will be the best thing that could happen to this country, the man is a hollow charlatan who is so self centred and naive that he is unable to accept his own pathetic failings.

I’m far more interested in seeing all the other ‘directives’ IPSO have sent out over the last few years.

I checked their board and could not see any immediate bias like I do with OFCOM – so I checked further:

‘No, the BBC does not answer to the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO). Instead, the BBC has its own internal complaints procedures and is regulated by Ofcom for its broadcast content’

      And all was clear.

‘The number of complaints the BBC internally upholds is a tiny fraction of those it receives. According to a June 2023 report covering the first five years of the current Royal Charter (since 2017), the BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit (ECU) upheld or partially upheld only 125 complaints out of approximately 1.7 million received.’

And OFCOM (chairman and ex-BBC Chairman Michael Grade) – clearly think that’s fine.

I believe Starmer has what I would describe as legal tunnel vision. He seems to have completed his legal training with the attitude that the training automatically makes him 100% right on every subject he is involved in, as a Lawyer by default would. Hence his automaton and rapid rush to punishment.

Teenage girls lured into forced sex by gangs in London, BBC finds
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjd9xnjyy8po

So the BBC are finally forced to make some report about grooming gangs in Londonistan.

Can we trust a word they say ?.

Well – after all that effort, the best they can do to identifying the lowest form of scum doing these rapes is:

“disproportionate numbers of men from Asian ethnic backgrounds amongst suspects for group-based child sexual exploitation”

when EVERYBODY knows they are Pakistani Muslims I would say the answer no because they are hiding things they don’t want us to know.

But they save the best to last:
‘Another London survivor, whom we are calling Ruth, said’ … ‘They were South Asian men – they took advantage of my situation.’

Even I had to double check Pakistan would be classed as ‘South Asia’. I’m damn sure ‘Ruth’ wouldn’t be so sure so as to use those specific words.

So I can confidently conclude the BBC have changed what she said for their own political agenda. Just like I am sure they put words in the mouths of those excellent English speakers from Gaza.

What else have they changed ?. What else have they missed out on purpose ?.

‘BBC news you can trust’. My arse.

What is special about these grooming gangs though is never mentioned. When whitey does it, it is some scumbag on his own doing it in private. These are groups of people who are all happy to do it and who all trust the others 100% not to tell anyone else about it. That is an entirely different thing and is much, much worse. It’s because of the single bond they all share : Islam. And that is a very significant lesson for the future. But nobody dare even say it because the ignorant and stupid Lefties will start shouting ‘racists’ or ‘Islamophobics’. They are directly responsible for these children being in a situation to get raped. The BBC most definitely included.

lol – disgraceful, deliberate mis-representation by the BBC yet again.

It’s like when they write an article on terrorism, they always include equal weight to right wing terrorists as if they are the same as the ones from Alans Snackbar.

They have no shame or conscience whatsoever about what they write.

Well well well, Mr Khan might have to finally admit there is of course a major problem with mainly Pakistani rape gangs in the city he is elected to protect
, even if he says , he doesn’t know what a mainly Pakistani rape gang is.
He says All violence towards women and girls is abhorrent, which it is of course, but he simply will not admit these rape gangs are mainly from the Pakistani community who operate with impunity within his city
My money is on he will try and find a white man doing the same, so he can get his face plastered all over the msm.

    Activate the Anti-Racism Protocol edition

It was just yesterday that your Mr AsI joked that journos had trouble with numbers as various national dailies couldn’t seem to decide if it was three, four or seven police forces keen to get in on the act investiging the Epstein files.

Well, it beats pounding the beat.

Now today, just as vintage Monty Python sketches (that had run out of ideas and lacked a punch line) would often come to a close with Graham Chapman in the guise of ‘The Colonel’ appearing to insist “Stop this! Now it’s getting silly!”

Eighth police force joins Epstein files investigation (Times)
Nine police forces probe Epstein claims… (Daily Mail)

Perhaps the government have a point with their plans to slash the number of our out-dated local county constabularies – so as to centralise crime fighting and reduce unnecessary duplication of effort?

The mildly conservative Telegraph apes the BBC’s old Getty Images trick of whitewashing crime with their frontpage illustrative depiction of: What really happens to stolen phones in London – don’t laugh… not only is the cell phone grabbing thief on a push bike pale skinned but he’s clad in a hoodie so lily white he might be starring in an advert for Daz – or to bring it up to date and more middle England – Fairy Non Bio.

Royal news in the socialist Daily Mirror: Wills live on heir… Prince joins radio chat… William with rapper Guvna B

Gunva B? Was Ali G not available?

    You Guessed It, He’s Black

Speaking of rappers… I’m rather warming to the giveaway tabloid ad sheet Metro

    Out of Africa

Rapper taunts government after 2 escapes… From bad to verse! ‘I just broke out’ says joint smoking drill performer jailed for knife robberies and due to be deported… to Ghana… Daniel Boakye, 21 – known as DSAVV (freebie Metro) – in the future sci-fi warns us we’ll all have a serial number as a surname – creating even more confusion for our poor numerically challenged journos – so letters as well as numbers may well be used.

    Quick…! Activate the Anti-Racism Protocol…!

That’ll be in football news: Benfica claim there is a “defamation campaign” against Gianluca Prestianni after Uefa launched an investigation into claims he racially abused Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr…. Vinicius reported alleged racist abuse to referee Francois Letexier and he and his team-mates left the field… Fifa president Gianni Infantino said he was “shocked and saddened” by the incident and commended Letexier for activating the anti-racism protocol. (Bobbie Jackson, BBC Sport journalist)

Naturally this story is going to run and run on the BBC – now the Anti-Racism Protocol has been activated: Vinicius: Eight years at Real Madrid, 20 cases of alleged racist abuse (Guillem Balague, BBC Sport columnist)

Meanwhile our all-white “Posh Sport” : GB curlers emerge from epic day with medal hopes revived – our Richard Winton, BBC Sport in Cortina “Epic” – channelling perhaps Del Boy’s younger brother Rodney from Only Fools And Horses with his disparaging catchphrase “Cosmic”

While we’ve got the Anti-Racism Protocol activated, let’s take a quick look into the throny issue of the so-called grooming gangs… Teenage girls lured into forced sex by gangs in London, BBC finds… Our investigation reveals a complex picture in London, with gangs from a range of ethnic backgrounds, including white (Sima Kotecha, Senior UK correspondent, BBC)

There’s a cynical line of thought that claims the EU is nothing more than a bureaucratic managerial elite’s undemocratic stitch up. I would add the bureaucracy serves to disguise German power and to flatter French pretentions.

Is she activating the Anti-Eurosceptic Protocol…?

Lagarde to depart ECB helm early so Macron and Mertz can pick successor… before French presidential election in April next year… Concern over Eurosceptics’ rise (FT)
