Total apoplexy at the BBC are even the current government dip their toe in the water of the ridiculous explosion of SEND categorisation of children.
    The costs are astronomical.
More and more children are getting ‘diagnosis’ of ADHD/Autism/ special needs.
The intelligentsia don’t bother to ask why the numbers ( and costs) are rocketing. It has just become the latest must-have label. An easy way out for GPs? Offload costs from the NHS to the DfE? Some parents even wear their children’s ADHD label as a badge of honour. ‘My child is ‘special’’.
What we used to call ‘teenagers growing up’ now has to have a ‘diagnosis’.

There is of course less money to spend on the rest. Soon, children with no label will be in the minority. Will they then get special treatment for being in a minority?

The system has gone to total rats***.

The deletion of Court records is an interesting one. At the moment the only way the public can get to know anything about any Court case proceedings or outcome is if they attend Court in person or if the Press report it in newspapers Radio or TV. That incidentally applies to inquest hearings as well. There is one small exception where in high profile cases the Judge’s sentencing is broadcast but the defendant is not shown at all.

With the decline of local newspapers there is very little accessible information about what goes on in our Courts. The deletion of Court records is another nail in the coffin. Recording of any trial by video or sound only is strictly forbidden. One gets the impression of secrecy although the Courts are supposed to be a public process. Who has the time to attend trials?

Having said that , given that Thames Valley police say ,they have arrested a 66 yr old man , why, has the normal media practice of not naming the arrested man, before and until the proceedings go to charge not been followed?

Two interesting stories from Guido today.

    https://order-order.com/2026/02/19/us-administration-plans-web-portal-allowing-brits-to-circumvent-online-safety-act/

The US government is launching a web portal allowing Europeans to bypass internet firewalls going up around the continent. The UK is leading the charge when it comes to egregious online censorship…

“Freedom.gov” will be the web address. It may include a Virtual Private Network service. Starmer is currently trying to ban them…

Reuters reports it was meant to go public at the Munich Security Conference but has been delayed. Internal legal disputes reportedly could further delay its launch. A State Department official insisted it would go ahead: “Digital freedom is a priority for the State Department… and that includes the proliferation of privacy and censorship-circumvention technologies like VPNs.” British citizens are once again faced with a bizarre situation in which the US government cares more for their right to free expression than their own…

    https://order-order.com/2026/02/19/labour-pauses-mass-court-archive-deletion/

After spirited campaigning by pro-justice figures Labour has U-turned on its plans to scrap a courts archive which is crucial to journalists. Lammy’s MoJ took issue with software used by Courtsdesk on some small occasion and tried to scrap the whole thing…

Courtsdesk is a golden goose for court and crime reporters because it has access to records that are otherwise unavailable to journalists. Labour was trying to have the five-year archive deleted forever…

The MoJ has paused its deletion order. The Tories are claiming victory, and said:

“Under pressure from campaigners, journalists, survivors and the Conservatives, Lammy is no longer hitting the delete button on court records. Courtsdesk has provided a vital service, and it is right that this vital database should be preserved. If we are going to stop the rape gangs and expose other patterns of criminal behaviour, we need comprehensive and accurate data.”

Does the 15 billion include the 2.8 billion foreign aid redirections?

The UK spent £2.8 billion, or 20% of its aid budget, supporting refugees in the UK in 2024. This drew criticism from aid groups. What is the government response?
      https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9663/
Due to a rise in aid spending on refugees in the UK (known as “in-donor refugee costs”), the value of aid spent overseas has been further reduced. This spending rose from 3% of aid in 2016 to a peak of 29% in 2022.

How has the Labour Government responded?
The Labour Government, in office from July 2024, have not announced additional spending to compensate for aid spending on refugees. It says it is taking steps to control the asylum budget, including re-establishing a cross-ministerial board to manage aid spending, reducing the use of hotel accommodation by the Home Office, and addressing older asylum claims.

I bet Andrew Windsor wishes he had been a BBC employee at some stage.( much needed special treatment very obviously absent) As it is , a total lack of any restraint …the trial is in progress , all manner of “so called evidence” discussed at great length.

The BBC are not alone but clearly setting up a guillotine outside Wogan house is a matter of hours away.

But as the BBC have implied “are jury trials really necessary, what a load of fuss and nonsense” . We the BBC know who should be punished and we have got experts who know how to select evidence we like.

    DEI is crap. Literally.

DEI means appointing and promoting workers based on race (or gender) rather than ability or qualification.

Two examples are sewage treatment in South Africa and Washington.

    • JohnC says:

DEI is sexist and racist discrimination against white males.

So the Left made up a new name for it to cover that bit up.

Same as how they make up nasty names when it suits them. ‘Islamophobia’ is another example:

This is how the Left define it:
‘Islamophobia is a specific form of racism that refers to acts of violence and discrimination, as well as racist speech, fuelled by historical abuses and negative stereotyping and leading to exclusion and dehumanisation of Muslims, and all those perceived as such.’

Absolute nonsense and shows just what hypocrites these people are. Racist against a religion ????.

  37. JohnC says:

As I keep mentioning, the Left’s obsession with Andrew will not stop until he is utterly destroyed – preferably killing himself as a final admission of what privileged white male scum he is.

So now while he is the gutter, he is very publicly arrested and the the BBC have wet their pants at the opportunities that has created to twist the knife.

Now he has been released without charge. So – knowing what a sensation it would cause – why did they arrest him ?. Why 6 police cars ?. Why not ‘invite’ him to come to the station to make a statement ? (with the clear understanding he would be arrested if he didn’t).

And why hasn’t Mandelson been arrested ?. What he did looks FAR more serious. He actively damaged the country.

While researching this, virtually every link at the top of the results was to the BBC. They are absolutely obsessed with destroying him now.

So I wondered why the police would do such a thing like this. And my conclusion is that they were directed to by their Chief. And it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to work out who needs such a major distraction from all the bad headlines he is earning as he bulldozes his far-Left agenda onto a country which doesn’t want it.

He was arrested so that a post arrest search could be carried out. Voluntary interviews don’t allow for that unless the subject incriminates himself and gets arrested during interview. Six police cars, along with other necessary officers probably contained the number of search officers required for a property of size. I don’t know why you defend the man so much.

    Peter’s Friends edition

Top Blairite Labour figure Peter Mandelson has disappeared from the top of news broadcasts and likewise he’s suddenly absent from our newspaper frontpages.

Even government ministers are apparently under the mistaken belief his case was sub judice: During a debate in the House of Commons on 4 February, 2026, Minister for the Cabinet office Nick Thomas-Symonds was chastised by Speaker Lindsay Hoyle for using the Metropolitan Police investigation into Peter Mandelson’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein as an excuse to not answer question relating to the matter. Hoyle said that he had not been contacted regarding the police investigation, and that the investigation in question should not stop Thomas-Symonds from answering. (Daily Express)

You’d think Nick Thomas-Symonds of all people would know better, he’s a former barrister. Perhaps our Peter’s legal team have sent some form of threatening legal note to the media? Who knows? Anyway, as the incorrigible contrarian hereabouts your Mr AsI is going to give Andy the similar courtesy awarded to Mandy.

    Elsewhere in the news…

Single vaccine could protect against all coughs, colds and flus, researchers say (James Gallagher, Health and science correspondent, BBC) – I’ll bet you one billion pounds it doesn’t.

Your Mr AsI was immediately suspicious of the sudden invention by multiple pharmaceutical companies of a Covid-19 so-called vaccine. I’m not a doctor but any layman knows there’s no vaccine for the common cold – if there were the inventor would makes millions. As for the flu – they have to come up with different varieties of vaccine every flu season and even then they don’t make one that guards against all the annual flu mutations. Vaccine against all coughs colds and flus – don’t make me laugh.

Yesterday we learnt about international football’s activation of the Anti-Racism Protocol.

The Anti-Musk Protocol has apparently been activated…

SpaceX rocket fireball linked to plume of polluting lithium… Now scientists are directly linking the uncontrolled rocket re-entry to a plume of lithium measured less than 100km above Earth. It is the first time researchers have drawn a direct link between a known piece of space debris crashing to Earth and pollution levels. They warn that as SpaceX chief Elon Musk pledges to launch one million satellites in the coming years, this contamination could be the tip of the iceberg. (Georgina Rannard, Science reporter, BBC)

No doubt disappointed by the lack of Elon Musk referrences in the Epstein Files… I guess if they can’t do him for being a nonce – pollution is just about the next worst crime these days.

Credit where credit is due – Sir Keir makes a good call (for once): Starmer blocks Trump from using RAF bases for strikes on Iran (Telegraph) – quite right too. This simply isn’t our fight. Keep out of it.

    • JohnC says:

I disagree. It is much more ‘our fight’ than Ukraine.

It’s about Iran getting nuclear weapons. You can be sure they will donate one to Israel when they do. And then they have us all up to ransom.

Trump is cleaning up the mess which Obama made by simply deferring the problem to the future.

This military build up is intended to force Iran into an agreement so we can stop it now. If they refuse and it goes to war, Starmer carries some of the responsibility with this decision.

Ergo January receipts will be very high.

    Can anyone explain this.

When talking about the ‘grooming’ gangs the lefty wet wipes on all the panels keep saying that these girls are only a small number compared to all the ‘grooming’ going on by white indigenous Brits. Something like 80%+ of rapes are done by the Brits.

The numbers of our little girls getting a right good ‘grooming’ by you know who is in the many hundreds of thousands (I believe in the millions)
How many in Rotherham alone…one small town.
If that is so, that means many millions are being regularly raped (by whitey) which sounds like every girl has been raped several times.
How many 12 – 20 year old girls are there in the UK. I would guess less than 3 million.

Why don’t the ‘Right’ on the panels question the apologists on the left because their charge of over 80% of rapists are white Brits doesn’t seem to stand up.

BBC declares: War on Waste! (From Taxpayer Alliance newsletter, today).

£840 for a night in a hotel!!! Even if that was on a honeymoon, most would baulk at that price. Not the BBC, though, which was more than happy to sign off on an expense claim for a night at the uber-luxurious Soho House in Barcelona for one of its staff. Apparently the unnamed employee stayed in a premium room as well – the basic ones presumably not up to standard.

Jokes aside, that ONE night in a hotel will be the combined licence fees of FIVE licence fee payers!!!, a pretty shocking fact.

How did Auntie justify it? Well it was UN Climate Week, see. So that’s alright then. The story can be found in The Sun, along with a bunch of other eye-watering expense bills at the broadcaster. THE BBc are very keen on ‘Climate Control’ and living on expenses. BBC very generous on Green issues, as you can tell…
