Absolutely classic BBC. This sums them up perfectly : they managed to spend a day with teams who go to dig out bodies after Israel strikes.
And entirely as expected it’s another epic tale of empathy porn.
I looked for how much explanation they gave as to the only important matter in the whole subject : why Israel are bombing these targets. It gets 89 words of the articles total of 956.
And even those 89 words are full of deceit. The first paragraph is:
‘Lebanon was pulled into the conflict between Iran, Israel and the US when Hezbollah launched rockets and drones into Israel, in retaliation for the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader. The group also cited almost daily Israeli strikes against it since a ceasefire ended their last war in 2024.’
Note how they say it was drawn into the ‘conflict between Iran, Israel and the US’. Inferring they did nothing wrong before that. When in fact they have been actively firing rockets. And here’s the truth about ‘cited almost daily airstrikes’:
‘December 2025: Tensions spiked when Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on Israeli military positions south of Khiam in southern Lebanon. This period saw “near-daily” Israeli airstrikes in response to what it described as Hezbollah military movements and infrastructure.’
A massive lie by omission. Look how carefully the BBC worded it to make Hezbollah sound innocent.
And the second paragraph has:
‘It has accused Hezbollah of systematically using civilian infrastructure and areas for military activities, which the group has previously denied.’
Once again the BBC are giving equivalence between statements of a democratic country and a Muslim terrorist group.
So apart from those two paragraphs it’s pure empathy to make people side with these poor victims. Statements like these belong in a novel, not in a story which pretend to be giving us the facts of what happened:
‘At the site of one of the explosions, an acrid smell lingered among the piles of debris scattered in front of a residential building. Sofas had been thrown to the ground by the strength of the explosion.’
‘In the building next door, laundry was hung out to dry next to a pair of children’s shoes, but no-one appeared to be inside.’
‘”We didn’t leave because we saw on TV how people are stranded on the roads and sidewalks and I didn’t want that for my two grandkids so I decided to stay and trust in God’s will,” said 60-year-old Mona Najem.’
‘The home of 69-year-old Entisar Yassine was also damaged by the impact of a strike, while she was on her wheelchair inside.
She said she had “wanted to leave” but didn’t know where to go. Mona had her leg amputated two years ago because of a medical condition, and she worried that shelters would not have accessible toilets.’
It’s just ridiculous. I assume the BBC were unable to locate child with cancer otherwise I’m sure we would get that story as well.
And to finish off, we get this:
While some have voiced anger to the BBC about Hezbollah’s decision to fire rockets into Israel earlier this month, Abu Mohammed said he supported the group, citing the ongoing Israeli strikes on Lebanon after the ceasefire.
“We could not rebuild our houses or return to our villages and cities while the Israelis were having a free hand there. Hezbollah needed to respond. It’s either you kill or get killed,” he said.
And WTF does ‘while some …’ mean. It is deliberately without context. Is it ‘most’ BBC ?. Half a dozen ? – what ?.
The BBC know full well that if the rocket attacks stopped, so would Israel’s retaliation. But they print this anyway. It’s an absolute lie – but as usual it’s in quotes as something someone else said.
No question at all about whose side the BBC are on again. The terrorists. And isn’t it strange how the BBC get into these kind of situations ?. It’s like their ‘reporters’ are fully trusted members of the groups themselves.
I’ve commented on several stories now where white people have been murdered at random in totally unprovoked stabbings by black males.
This is where the multicultural experiment of mass immigration by the Left leads. The white guy would likely be dead if he didn’t pro-actively defend himself. And the story would have been brushed under the carpet because the Left don’t give a shit : the agenda is more important.
Remember this situation could happen to ANY of us here in the UK now. When I’m waiting for a train, I always stand with my back to a wall and keep half an eye on anyone suspicious.
What gets me is that they have pushed the same political agenda for more than 50 years now and things are worse than ever. I wonder when they think these black and Muslim people are finally going to decide they will integrate into normal society so we don’t fear this happening to us.
