This is a most ridiculous statement by the comedian Zelensky being splashed as a front-page, world news headline by the BBC.
Russia are not driven by hate. Period. They are driven by National Interest. If they were driven by hate, they would be bombing civilians which they are not. They are conducting a war in their usual manner where lives are cheap. To compare them with the real hatred of Iran for Israel simply outrageous. But not nearly as outrageous as making it the front page headline at the BBC.
But enough of that : it’s just more of the same and one of the reasons I don’t trust anything the BBC tell me now. The REAL story here is how the BBC are using the troll farm again in the HYS comments. Take this comment for example:

There is a stream of similar comments all made very quickly after the first, all with similar uptick ratios and all reading like a spiteful 12 year old wrote them. Yet any replies are getting about 50 votes total.
It would be interesting to know what time the article went live and how long it took for the troll farm to start. It seems clear to me that they are being told by the BBC (indirectly of course) in advance of the articles and are waiting to earn their money.
One thing is for sure though : there is no way the BBC are not aware of it. And as nothing can be proved, they are very happy to allow it. No matter how dirty and corrupt it is.
As a sperate matter, I just read how the Ukrainians shut down a Russian oil pipeline to Hungary. It seemed a bit odd to me at the time. I now discovered why : under the pressure to reopen it, they have just said they cannot do it for over a month because of ‘repairs’. It just so happens that Hungary have an election before that and the EU want rid of Victor Orban. So they closed it down. And even though it happened in January, the EU have suddenly announced they will help open it again. Nice EU. But not until after the election. So vote for whoever supports the nice EU.
This is how it works. Orban will be removed somehow. Just not with tanks this time.

Ali Larijani was described as a ‘moderate conservative’ on R4 by a BBC reporter despite possibly being, as national security chief, one who authorised or organised the mass killings of protestors. We are told that he was involved in negotiations and thus shouldn’t have been killed.
Bowen of course similarly described the ‘terrorist’ Muslim Brotherhood as moderates and non-violent..
The BBC is a mouthpiece for Iran and always has been. It is notable how they fail to express any outrage at all or any shock at the war Iran has launched againt just about every country surrounding it and further afield as it’s sleeper cells launch attacks within Western countries….and of course is attacking civilian shipping in the Gulf and is holding basically most countries of the world to hostage by stopping the oil tankers.
The fault is Trump’s apparently and not Iran’s. Incredible that Starmer and fellow travellers across Europe refuse to act because it is ‘not our war’ when clearly Iran is waging a war against us economically and indeed militarily as it targets our bases and allies in the Middle East.

All that could equally be applied to the BBC.

I noticed the very carefully worded polls by YouGov which were clearly intended to make certain parties look more popular.
When I investigated, I discovered the man at the top was ex-BBC. From that point on I dismissed YouGov as an activist group chasing the money and take anything they claim with a very large pinch of salt.

Just some reflections on the attitude – group think – of the BBC towards President Trump …..
In January very was much dismay that the BBC didn’t cover the slaughter of dissenters in Iran – the reason ? Islamic infiltration of the the BBCOFCOM …..
There is little coverage of the evil the Islamic republic has done in the past – since 1979 – and the professed aim of destroying Israel using nuclear weapons when possible – a state aim .
Yet the BBC treats it like any other ‘state ‘ with leaders who are ‘reasonable ‘ – to quote John Simpson .
The long over due attempt by a US President is treated with hostility by all BBC presenters – Iran should have been dealt with decades ago – instead of Libya and Iraq – it’s the chief evil .
Yet the bbc is fixated about ‘war aims ‘ as though the US/ Israel must declare clear war aims instead of the pragmatic approach because they don’t know whether they can bring the regime down .
The BBC cannot see the reality – that maybe the regime will be brought down – or left weakened – able to build up and get the bomb and destroy Israel and maybe launch the ultimate and final war to destroy us all .
I really hope the US/ Israel keep going this time – whatever happens with the economy – shortages – rationing – because the stakes are too high to have to go back again in 10 years time or even worse – see a flash as the Iranians succeed in the insanity …

The Type 45 destroyer departed Portsmouth on 10 March, meaning it has taken her seven days to reach Gibraltar on an assumed nautical passage of around 1,300 miles.
Prior to her arrival, a report in The Sun suggested HMS Dragon had “bobbed around” in the English Channel for several days immediately after leaving Portsmouth, which the newspaper termed a “ship shambles” and a “farce”.
However, several commentators, including Navy Lookout, were quick to clarify that the vessel was likely to be conducting a series of safety drills as crews reacclimatised to maritime conditions after several months ashore.

From the DT STARTS Crispin Blunt, the former Tory MP, has been charged with four drug offences.
The 65-year-old has been charged with the possession of Class A and Class B substances, including meth and cannabis.
The charges were brought against Mr Blunt, the former member for Reigate, after police searched his home in Horley as part of a separate investigation that took place in October 2023.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it had worked closely with Surrey Police to carry out the investigation.
Malcolm McHaffie, the head of the CPS’s Special Crime Division, said: “We remind all concerned that criminal proceedings against this defendant are active and that he has the right to a fair trial.
“It is vital that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”
Mr Blunt will appear at Westminster magistrates’ court on March 25.ENDS
