British Army to Punish Soldiers Writing Satirical Songs as Morale Plunges:

The British Army says “Expressing ‘Patriotism’ could be a sign of Far-Right extremism”

Patriotic Soldiers could be punished by members of the ‘unpatriotic far-left senior officer traitor class’ sending unwanted working-class patriotic soldiers to die from protecting the Ukrainian national socialist far-right extremists from the white Christian Russian peoples. British Army soldiers are not allowed to fight for Britains border in Britain, against Islamic rapists crossing the English Channel. Morale Plunges as Senior Officers in the British Army say that defending Britain is Far-Right extremism.

NHS doctor is charged with ‘multiple counts of inviting support for Hamas’

A suspended NHS doctor has been charged with four counts of inviting support for Hamas.

Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, was accused in relation to comments or other material posted online about the proscribed terrorist organisation last year.

The alleged incidents, which saw her charged under the Terrorism Act, happened on four separate occasions – July 23, August 23, October 7 and December 31.

She has also been charged with one count of publishing or distributing written material to stir up racial hatred in relation to an incident on November 19 last year.

And the doctor has also been accused of using words to stir up racial hatred on King Charles Street in the Westminster area of central London on July 21 last year.

Aladwan was arrested at her home in Pilning, South Gloucestershire, by the Metropolitan Police on Thursday for breaching bail after previous arrests.
The trainee trauma and orthopaedic surgeon was taken to a central London police station where she was charged.

Aladwan was remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Or Muslims publishing or distributing written material to stir up religious hatred of none Iranian races, or the BBC using banned words to stir up racial hatred of Christianity and the Jewish religion.

Iran mourns… – offers the FT: Tehran’s navy chief killed

I don’t know who the head of the Iranian department of wartime propaganda is (or if he’s on the Israeli hit list) – but he (and let’s be honest, it’s a he) couldn’t have dreamed of better front page feature pic to appear on the cover of the Guardian this morning…

Iranians in the Behesht Zahra cemetery in southern Tehran yesterday for the funeral of a victim of the conflict (Guardian. Photograph: Abedin Taherkenareh/EPA)

Of course the photo of the victim being brandished for the camera, above the grave that’s surounded by at least six women with just one consoling young man, is of a young woman, dyed blond hair evident beneath her hijab.

Our BBC likes the Guardian for their top pick of the press front pages on their online news page.

I don’t do Facebook but the Google machine tasked with the search term ‘Abedin Taherkenareh/EPA’ suggests: Iran held a state funeral in Tehran for around 60 individuals, including military commanders and nuclear scientists, who died in the… (Facebook, 18 hours ago) – we don’t want see photos of yet another beardy-weirdy old bloke in either black religious robes or a military tunic – or a white lab coat come to that.

Iran presented its own counter proposals to end the war… (FT); Iran hasn’t publicly reacted to Trump’s decision, but Tehran earlier said it was waiting for Washington to respond to its conditions for a ceasefire (BBC) – so was the Donald fibbing when he said he was in talks with Iran, a major claim of our media, just a day or two ago?

That Gisèle Pelicot story seemed to go over pretty well – with that section of the media audience predisposed to respond well to such themes – let’s see what more we can do in that same or similiar vein: Labour’s Charlotte Nichols explains why she decided to speak out about her rape and trial (the formerly serious, now mainly female interest Times)

Perhaps disappointing Mr AsI’s putative Iranian head of wartime propaganda – the Times front page full-colour feature photo is a posed studio shot of our Labour MP (photocredit: Chris McAndrew for the Times)

The rather glamorously well-lit and carefully posed, tastefully shod and outfitted strawberry blonde member of parliament presents like a slightly more professionally fashion curated version of our play school clothed new female Green MP.

You know how you sometimes see those teasers that say hello-boys-wanna-see my more intimate exclusive Only Fans pics (yes you do) – well, is it just your jaded reviewer hereabouts who notices this awkward analogy with the Times feature: MP: My naked picture was sent to 70 men (Times)

Thinking of the style and presentation of our recently elected new Green MP: Children under the age of five should be limited to one hour of screen time a day (BBC)

One often prefers the concise nature of a tabloid headline: 1 hour is your lot, tots (The Sun)

Sheen’s a Traitor (The Sun) – don’t panic, our RADA-trained actor who speaks up for social justice and Welsh separatism isn’t working for the Iranians, the Chinese, or heaven forfend… Putin (!) – he’s probably going to go on that BBC celeb show Traitors

Whereas: NHS doctor charged with backing Hamas (Telegraph) – front page feature photo in both the ever-excitable Daily Mail and the mildly conservative Telegraph – our glamorous dusky 31-year-old beauty evidently can afford to dispense with the studio photo shoot and the professional stylists – with her natural looks and casual streetwear she looks as though she’s got quite the bedside manner, as they say. Even when snapped doing her perp walk: Remanded in custody: Rahmeh Aladwan (Mail)

Of course, if you prefer, one could talk all day about the economy…

With typical sanctimony, our tax-hungry Chancellor accused fuel giants of cashing in on soaring pump prices. But truth is… Reeves is the REAL petrol profiteer (Mail)

Saudis are now against Iran and its terrorism? These are head spinning times…

“Today ( 02 December 2016) it was reported that a Saudi women who posted a picture of herself on social media in public without wearing a hijab faced outrage on social media, including calls for her execution. One man memorably declared: “Kill her and throw her corpse to the dogs.”

To the surprise of the some, Saudi Arabia – which has been bombing Yemen for 18 months, including one incident where the country’s fighters bombed a funeral, and which has arguably the worst record on women’s rights in the world – was recently re-elected to the Human Rights Council, the United Nations’ premier human rights body. There was, predictably, an outcry.”

A rabbi, a Hindu priest, and Keir Starmer went on a hike…

Night fell and they were exhausted.

The hotel on the map was nowhere to be seen.

They knocked on the door of a farm and asked if they could spend the night.

The farmer said, “Of course, but I only have a small room with two beds. One of you will have to sleep in the barn.”

The Hindu priest said, “I need no material comforts. I will gladly take the barn.”

The rabbi and Keir Starmer were settling in when they heard a knock on the door. They opened it to find the Hindu priest standing there.

“So sorry, my friends, but there is a cow in the barn, and I cannot sleep beside such a holy animal.”

The rabbi said, “No problem, my brother. I’ll take the barn.

The Hindu priest and Keir Starmer were settling in when they heard a knock on the door. They opened it to find the rabbi standing there.

“So sorry, my friends, but there’s a pig in the barn, and I can’t sleep beside such a filthy animal.”

Keir Starmer said, “OK, let it be remembered that I sacrificed my comfort for the greater good.”

The rabbi and the Hindu priest were settling in when they heard a knock on the door.

They opened it to find the pig and the cow standing there.

Corruption in Nigeria is a deeply systemic, long-standing issue that has cost the country over

billion since independence in 1960. Rooted in political elite exploitation, a “resource curse” from oil revenue, and weak institutional oversight, it manifests as bribery, contract inflation, and embezzlement.

The BBC want Trump’s war in Iran to fail.
But they can’t be too obvious about it, so they do what they do best: they post a lot of war-porn, i.e. images and stories of the suffering of the civilian population, especially children if at all possible.
Hence front-page headlines like: ”My daughter is under the rubble’: Inside Tehran as civilian toll of strikes rises.’ And ‘A mother stands by the rubble, crying out for her daughter.’

The reporters have good British names like: Nawal Al-Maghafi, Ruzgar Akgun and Ishaan Jhaveri.
No doubt their Iranian state minders are all too happy to escort them to the most sensationalist sites, and probably ‘arrange’ them a bit, as in Gaza.
