“I came to Wales 20 years ago, and saw the damage that Thatcher had done. People in Wales still went to cafe’s and talked, I liked that and made Wales my home. I also feel in love with Welsh history. How a 100 miners chipped in to keep a doctor in their community (Private healthcare?). That lead to the creation of the NHS. (IS THIS REALLY WHAT HAPPENED? WALES CREATED THE NHS USING OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY?)”

Wonderful news! The BBC is planning to cut nearly 1 in 10 of its staff. Some might say cutting 9 out of 10 would be better but hey, it’s a start.
But look at the numbers they quote: cutting 1800-2000 ‘jobs’ will save £500 million. What? That means each person is costing an average of £250,000 each! Assuming NI and other costs and overheads, that equates to a salary of more than £160,000 each, which is more than FOUR times the average UK salary. Precisely what are these people doing that makes them so much more valuable than, say, doctors, nurses, policemen, refuse collectors etc?

The Italians say HMS Dragon limped into Souda bay, on the north coast of Crete, HMS Queen Elizabeth has broken down in Scotland and HMS Prince of Wales has broken down in Portsmouth. The Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Major General Thomas Howard Bewick, OBE is single-handedly defending the British Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia from Iranian attacks.

I predict a prolonged shortage of eggs. Buy while you still can.

Tons and I and tons of egg will end up on the face of the Globalist commentariat as despite all their doom ladened predictions President Trump emerges even stronger from the Iran conflict.

So far the commentariat’s predictions on , the impossibility of closing the US Mexico border, of stopping the inflow of drugs to the USA, the dire impact of imposing tariffs on the US economy, the impossibility of bringing Venezuela to heel , and now the impossibility of defeating the Mad Mullahs of Tehran , have all been totally and utterly wrong.

What is even more astounding to me is that with such a dire track record so many ordinary folks still believe the nonsense that these increasingly deranged ,TDS damaged , Globalist’s spew forth. I’m sure that as each prediction turns out to be massively wrong lots of ordinary people are turning their backs on the legacy media in all its forms . but incredibly millions still think these buffoons have credibility and take their prognostications seriously.

President Trump says Britain is being “invaded” by mass migration, crushed by the highest energy prices in the world, and is failing to honour its alliances. Britain’s migration policy is “insane”, he said, adding: “They’re destroying… your country is being invaded… By illegal immigrants from all over the world, including those from prisons, drug dealers, people from mental institutions. Your country is being invaded.” Trump reflected on the “sad” state of a country he said he loved and wants to see do well. The country of birth of his mother, Mary MacLeod, Trump said “you have bad immigration policies and bad energy policies, you have the worst of both. You can’t succeed, not possible”: https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2026/04/15/trump-could-kill-trade-deal-if-britain-doesnt-straighten-itself-out

The BBC says it will “review” its climate coverage. Not because it suddenly found integrity, but because it got caught.

A leaked letter from a former standards advisor accused executives of ignoring “widespread evidence of skewed reporting.”

The BBC has skewed the truth for years to push a political agenda. It claimed human CO2 made US heat waves “35 times more likely,” it said wildfires were exploding because of climate change, and it sold Net Zero as an economic miracle while hiding the costs.

These are all falsehoods. The data, in many cases, show the exact opposite. And when challenged, the BBC quietly edited, deleted or buried the evidence.

Even the regulator Ofcom ordered entire climate programs be pulled for dishonesty.

This isn’t journalism, it’s propaganda. But the public is cottoning on and switching off. In the past two years alone, roughly a million UK households have stopped paying the BBC license fee.

They forgot about when Iran murdered 42,000 of it’s own people who were protesting on the streets. All he did was express his sorrow.

Then when Trump was doing something about it he said:
      ‘”Truly Unacceptable” Threats’.
‘He warned that God “does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war” and that using faith to justify violence is a distortion of Christianity’
‘He has lamented the “horror and inhumanity” caused by the conflict’

I wonder if the Pope knows what it will look like if Iran detonate a nuclear device in Israel. That alone justifies what Trump is doing. I’m simply stunned at the response to this war : I haven’t seen a single attempt by any of these hypocrites to suggest a credible alternative plan.

It seems everyone is scared of upsetting Muslim’s now. We’ve seen ourselves what happens when they are not happy. We get mass intimidation of the non-Muslim public by large-scale protests in our major cities with violent undertones. The irony is that when they did it in a Muslim country, they got murdered on the streets by their religious leaders

After all the criticism of Starmer for not answering questions, I saw this video on youtube and had a look. I started it as he was getting angry and nasty – but it was all the same up to then.

I cannot quite believe what I saw. Starmer does not answer a single question : as soon as he stands up, he starts by reciting some rhetoric written down for him then gets a bit nasty and personally attacks the one asking the question and finally proceeds to blame the last Tory government. That’s it. He does it again and again without answering the question at all.

What is the point of PMQ’s if he can just do this ?. Isn’t the speaker supposed to stop him and direct back to the question or something ?. Why doesn’t Badenoch ask him the same question again until he answers it ?. Or is she not allowed to ?.

Our ‘leader’ and our ‘Parliament’ are now an absolute shambles. He’s like a spiteful schoolboy. This man is utterly unfit to be PM.

    Public bodies edition

The formerly serious Times goes with a peculiar front page, prompted by research just out: Evolution has favoured a redhead for 10,000 years… Scientists are unclear what survival advantage being a redhead may have… After a Harvard study…

The cover page of the Times certainly caught the eye of our BBC for top spot in their online press line-up. It might have been the Doomwatch-like editorial: UK facing summer of shortages on shelves – or perhaps the evolutionary science study’s vaguely related frontpage feature pin-up pic: Redheads such as actress Jessica Chastain are becoming more common… (Times)

Surely our former deputy PM and Starmer rival Angela Raynor would have been the ideal example of a common redhead?

(I’m here all week, you know)

How’s that Net Zero workin’ out fo’ yer?

Lack of CO2 to hit farming if Strait stays shut… given that CO2 is used to increase the shelf life of food such as salad, packaged meats and baked goods (Times) – and there we were being told ‘Carbon’ was practically a poison.

Having repeatedly played host to the Tehran ministry of propaganda output in recent days the Guardian (for balance) today gifts their front page feature photo spot to Hezbollah: A Lebanese family mourns a victim of war (photo credit Hussain Malla/AP)

Gender law concern – frets the Times, somewhat mildly, in a minor page 4 report: Organisations including the Women’s Institute and Girlguiding are potentially breaking the law by providing transgender services, a report has found – it’s hard to tell exactly where the mainly female interest Times sits on this one – are they for it, or are they agin it?

Flip way down the BBC’s virtual stack of national titles and we see exactly where the Mail stands: Labour’s shameful betrayal of women… One year on from historic court victory on single sex spaces, hundreds of public bodies STILL ignore it – because ministers let them – and there we were being told Starmer’s government almost obsessively always adhered to the ‘full force of the law’

Gosh, how did all this transgenderism suddenly come to obsess our culture – and turn what was a rare quirk into an interesting mainstreamed option for our youngsters – with apparent official sanction and approval?

Flip back up the BBC’s virtual press pile to its upper reaches and alight on the youth-oriented celeb-conscious giveaway corporate adsheet Metro: 60 Seconds with Sir Grayson Perry

There was a time when sometime comic female impersonator Barry Humphries had to invent a damehood for his creation Dame Edna Everage.

Despite the Times’s love-bomb for the red (heads) Russophobia is still a thing: Putin’s new power… will be able to launch more overseas military action under a law allowing troop deployment where Russians are arrested or prosecuted

There’s another leader obsessed with legality. But here comes one of those awkward juxtapositions of headlines: MoD faces £200mn bill for Ukraine peacekeepers… proposed security force (FT)

The FT reminds us other conflicts are available for news coverage: Neighbours get entangled as rivals tear Sudan apart

One tends to rib the FT over its cryptic crossword puzzle-like headlines. Today we’ve a classic conundrum to attempt to unravel: Bifs put Piigs out to pasture and take on mantle of Europe’s public debt laggards (FT) – I’m now imagining that 30 second Countdown Conundrum Clock music…

Did you get it? Let me explain: Piigs is a derogatory acronym for Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Spain, representing the Eurozone countries considered to have weak economies, high debt levels, and significant financial instability during the European debt crisis. But now we’ve got Bifs… Britain, Italy and France: The new problem children of European debt markets (FT)

The jokey blokey Daily Star gets very excited over: MP Samantha Niblett, who has declared a “summer of love” in a push for positive sex vibes across Britain, says her fellow Westminster members are, er, a bit too hands on… And you thought they only fiddled their expenses – I wonder if this sex talk in the Commons may indeed spark a wider national mass debate?

(I’m here all week, you know)

And finally, in racism news… we return to that Times science bit: Scientists are unclear what survival advantage being a redhead may have, noting that it is possible… a lighter skin tone, may have brought other… benefits

Scale and Scope: In Cologne alone, approximately 1,210 criminal complaints were filed, with 511 involving sexual assaults. Nationwide, around 1,200 women were reportedly assaulted on that night across various cities, including Hamburg and Stuttgart.
Specific Rape Reports: While often described in media as “mass rape,” of the 500+ sexual assault complaints in Cologne, 22 were for rape or attempted rape.

Perpetrators: Victims and witnesses described the attackers as large groups of men (estimated up to 1,000 in total) of North African or Arab appearance.
Police Failure: Authorities were heavily criticized for being understaffed and failing to intervene. The initial police report on January 1 described the night as “relaxed” and “mostly peaceful,” a statement they later had to retract as a grave error.

We’ve now had two days of a, to be fair, useful ongoing BBC story about asylum seekers abusing the system.
The thing that gets me is the hypocrisy and tone of surprise, as it is equally with the government response.
Hypocrisy after years of open door immigration platitudes for all those doctors and engineers. Surprise because anyone with half a brain could predict this has been going on for years.

There is of course no coverage of the demographic and economic impact of all of this. How is a country full of real and pretend male, gay, muslims with no skills and no English-speaking going to benefit our country? Conversely what is the cost to the taxpayer going to be?

The group missing from all of this is, not for the first time, the taxpayer. Instead we will get the mantra of ‘those earning a bit more should pay a bit more tax’ as we have for the last umpteen bleeding heart situations.

This is exactly why Keir Starmer’s first name has become a long-running joke among Persian speakers—it sounds virtually identical to the word. “Sir Keir” gets playfully rendered in Persian script as something like سیر کیر, which some interpret as a crude pun along the lines of “dickhead” or “tip of the penis.”

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor (Jeremy Corbyn); he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

They are so nice they are allowing our roads to attain a third-world standard so as to make immigrants feel at home

Funny how the green’s favourite iconic image, the hockey stick graph, matches exactly with massive population rise in the third world. If CO2 is to blame then the emissions from this new population must be to blame.

link to video – must watch

Starmer struggled through his opening remarks on child safety at a Downing Street meeting of social media executives this morning. What was it like when the cameras stopped rolling…

This is what Starmer had to say:

“But things can’t go on like this. They must change. Because right now social media is putting our children at risk. And in a world in which children are protected, even if that means access is restricted, that is preferable to a world where harm is the price of participation. So in everything we do, we need to put children first. Their safety and their protection are paramount. And I’m determined we’ll build a better future for our children. And I look forward to working with you on this. I do think this can be done. I think the question now is not whether it’s done.”

Representatives from Meta, Snapchat, Google (YouTube), TikTok, and X were summoned to the meeting for Starmer to rant at them. An embargoed release from No10 confirmed that the meeting had no substantive purpose apart from for Starmer to tick off the companies…

“During today’s meeting, the Prime Minister and Technology Secretary will set out the government’s principles and values when it comes to protecting children, and press for answers from companies on what they are doing to keep children safe online and responding to families’ concerns.”

BBC itself should take note….usually it is very very keen to report anything the UN says, especially about Israel…but in this case not so much….very very keen to promote the trans-agenda…and hide any negative news about them.

Women’s safety and privacy put at risk by Trans-women accessing women-only spaces….from the Telegraph:

‘Sir Keir Starmer is “weakening legal protections for women and girls” by failing to publish guidance safeguarding the right to single-sex spaces, a United Nations (UN) expert has warned.

Reem Alsalem, the UN’s special rapporteur on violence against women and girls, called on the Government to “walk the talk” on its support for women by releasing the guidance without delay.

In an article for The Telegraph, below, Ms Alsalem said access to women-only spaces was “central to safeguarding women’s safety, privacy and dignity, and to combating male violence against women and girls”.

She said it was a matter of “regret” that government departments, the NHS, the prison service, universities and schools were still failing to comply with the law.’

Keir Starmer and the Labour government are lying to you again.

Labour are NOT “closing down asylum hotels”. Far from it.

What they are doing is moving thousands of illegal migrants out of asylum hotels and putting them into “HMOs” (Housing for Multiple Occupants) in the very heart of our communities.

And this is being paid for by … you.

As I explain in my book, what they are doing is moving illegal migrants into homes that are usually run by private firms such as Serco.

These firms are secured by your money, which allows them to offer landlords more favourable contracts if they take on illegal migrants over the hardworking, decent British people.

In other words, they are using YOUR money to outbid YOU in YOUR housing market in YOUR country.

    It is truly disgraceful.

And then, even worse, Keir Starmer, Shabana Mahmood, Yvette Cooper and other Labour politicians have the gall to lecture the rest of us about “fairness”.”

The bbc has a serious new bee in its bonnet. President Donald Trump has unveiled plans for a new triumphal arch in Washington DC to commemorate 250 years of the US of A. He wants to do this on a grand scale because he is a proud American patriot and believes that this anniversary deserves a serious gesture.

Not in bbc land. Apparently it is nothing more than a vanity project for the pres, and an insult to Lincoln as it will be higher than his memorial. Also, the fallen soldiers in Arlington cemetery will be unable to see Lincoln’s memorial.

Finally, there are serious concerns (Serious in whose world, I ask?) that due to it’s height, passing air traffic may be at risk of puncturing their tyres on the wings of the eagles atop the structure.

I spend a lot of my time looking at UK commemorative projects and saying “What the feck is that supposed to be?”. Trump doesn’t mess about; “We need an appropriate gesture? Right, let’s do it properly”. We commemorated the millennium with a big tent and a Ferris wheel.

This raw passion and patriotism is against everything the bbc love. If the President had proposed a five mile high windmill they would have been gushing and fainting in ecstasy.

They really do sicken me. Gob bless the US of A!

“Girl tells trial she pulled knife and axe after man pushed her”

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckgeer1lkylo

A girl has told a trial she pulled a knife and an axe from her waistband after a man made sexual remarks to her and pushed her to the ground.

The 13-year-old said the man repeatedly said to her: “Come here sexy, I’ll show you how to have a good time.

The 13-year-old said the man repeatedly said to her: “Come here sexy, I’ll show you how to have a good time.”

Ilia Belov, 22, is accused of attacking the girl in St Ann Lane in the Lochee area of Dundee in August last year.

He is also accused of following her and three other girls, all who were aged between 12 and 14. Belov denies the charges.

The 13-year-old was giving evidence at Belov’s trial at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Cross examined by Belov’s solicitor Larry Flynn, the girl said she had then taken the axe and knife from her waistband, and that the man filmed her with them.

She said she later dumped the weapons at a nearby roundabout.

Flynn also put it to her that Belov had not been the one to start the incident, and that he had just been responding to comments that had been made to him.

The lawyer put it to the witness that she had called his client an “immigrant”, which she denied.

Following her evidence, Sheriff Tim Niven-Smith told the girl: “I hope you reflect that it’s not a good idea to carry weapons in the city of Dundee.”

He said “there is no such thing as a defensive weapon, there are only offensive weapons”.

The trial continues in June. *
