Rumours that the BBC will start closing stations no one bothers with – eg BBC 3 to save Money … let’s hope that true …..and further – elsewhere – notice how the … man .. charged with killing Anne Widdecombe is charged with a terrorism offence against Nigel Farage 2 days after the Labour Party conference and 2 days before the Tory conference – political plod or what?

Here am I, send me to the top of this Thread. wwfc you have 15 mins to get here. The BBC are very wasteful! Defund the BBC. The BBC are anti-Israel, like the rest of the MSM and our Government, the BBC are pro-Palestine and pro-Hamas. The BBC do not like Reform and Nigel Farage, do not like President Trump, like the rest of the MSM and the BBC are very wasteful! I have been waiting since before Christmas 2025 for a visit from TVLicensing and they still have not turned up … yet! I will be refering to our Govenrment as ‘bumming’ because they have abandonded the ‘Triple Lock’ on the State Pension!
Up2 – you need to come up with one of those ‘wimmin ‘ things the BBC loves so much ….
More seriously – the fact that someone has been charged with plotting a terrorist attack on a now serving MP – should concentrate blob minds … but it won’t because they all want Reform killed ….
The Marxists have timed the terrorism charge to de stable the Tory conference …. But a wise party leader might use it to go toward rewarding the Right with an election pact … to stop the vote split for a second time
What Amess we are in!
Amess was knighted in the 2015 New Year Honours for political and public service. On 15 October 2021, Amess was murdered at a constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea by Ali Harbi Ali, a British Islamic State terrorist. Southend was granted city status as a memorial to Amess in 2022.

The treatment of the killing of David Amess and that of the killing of Anne Widdecombe reflected the corruption of the political class of our time. The threat against Reform MPs will pass in silence from the uniparty . They want Farage and tice dead .. Simples …

Police again very clear. No suggestion Anne Widdecombe’s death terror related. Or that it is politically motivated. And that speculation on motive is unhelpful to their investigation.

Ann Widdecombe murder suspect charged with preparing acts of **terror** , including against Nigel Farage
People like Hodges are why this country is finished.
France now Britain next. All brought about by self-hating liberals. Unfortunately this disease of self hatred is in the process of destroying Western civilisation.I believe those who wish to try and save it have acted too late. When we look at the hoards on the streets of France, do you really see the French? You cannot expect barbarians who come to France to be French or those coming to England to be English Unless you are as deluded as Rees-Mogg
‘Ashamed’: Cornell students gather to voice anger over alleged gang rape
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm0e3ed1er1yo
Isn’t it just amazing how the BBC can be so concerned about an alleged rape (not enough evidence to support it) which happened over in the USA – but when Muslim immigrants rape women in the most awful of circumstances over here, they rarely even report it. And when they do, it’s not reams of empathy porn like this article is.
And remember, these women and children are raped in the most brutal and awful manner in back alleys and parks such that the rest of their lives will be destroyed.
They didn’t even report his story from much closer to home:
‘French pensioner, 93, found dead at home with ‘naked Sudanese migrant, 34, lying on top of her’
He strangled her while he raped her. People heard her screaming then found him on top of her dead body.
This is why I detest the BBC activists so much. If there’s no agenda in it for them, they don’t care. They are the worst kind of low-life hypocrites. Scum is too good a word for these people : they are lower than that.
The worst part is that they are so deep in their own groupthink bubble, I doubt any of them realise what they really are.
Oh right…
‘Two Iranian nationals who arrived in the UK by small boat have been charged with terror offences over an alleged plot to target the Jewish community in Manchester.’
And…
‘The man accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe has also been charged with preparing acts of terror including against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.’
But it is Far-Right terrorism that is the most significant problem…..and of course the attacks on the two targets, Jews and Reform, are encouraged and provoked by inflammatory and malign disinformation broadcast by the likes of the BBC whose news reports demonise, dehumanise and vilify Israelis/Jews and Reform politicians[and Trump] to the extent that they are seen as so evil that they become ‘legitimate’ targets that need to be taken out.
Two extreme, serious attacks by Muslims and immigrants and the BBC tries to downplay and divert attention away from the real issues.
So mass rioting, a huge number of serious attacks on teachers and emergency people, burning and destruction of buildings and vehicles, is merely ‘protesting’ as reported by the BBC which almost romanticises the attacks by the rioters…much as they now call the Brixton riots ‘rebellion and resistance’.
Most of the rioters are immigrant stock and many quite clearly demonstrate that they are attacking ‘France’ more than anything else.
The BBC has been similarly dishonest with its reports about the terrorist attack on the plane filled with Jewish passengers on its way to Israel.
The BBC could have called it a ‘terrorist attack’ or a ‘9/11 style attack’ but chose instead to keep calling it a ‘fight in the cabin’ and now calls it, as does Miliband, an ‘incident’….and of course the BBC’s main concern is that such an ‘incident’ might be exploited by the ‘Far-Right’ Jews….
‘The incident on the Flydubai flight comes at an even more febrile time than usual in Israel, with tightly contested elections just weeks away.’
Oddly they show absolutely no interest in the identity of the terrorist nor indeed of his intentions and motivations
…..looking at five reports and the BBC just won’t speculate on the aim of the attack….no mention that he quite probably intended to fly the plane into an Israeli city…or maybe even the nuclear facility.
It’s almost like they want to ringfence this and just present it as some ‘senseless tragedy’ with no meaning or motivation…and certainly not one linked to Muslims.
My French relatives are saying thst French state media are very clearly laying the blame for the ‘students’ riots on the far left and claiming that Melanchon , the leader of the main left party, is heavily implicated, which is likely true. So different from their usual portrayal of events which tends to be similar though not as extreme as the BBC.
So why this sudden conversion to blaming thr far left? They must know that by reporting this honestly for once they are handing Le Pen’s nationalist RN a lot of votes and increasing the likelihood of her becoming Mdme Le President . Something that the French media has opposed tooth and nail in the past.
Has the penny finally dropped on the only way to save France is the nationalist RN? But an RN government would be a serious threat to the future ambitions of the EU.
Or are they going to say that these far left riots are just a small taster of what will happen if Le Pen is elected next May and so voters must rally to the centre and keep the lunatic left and the far right RN out of power?
I suspect that it will be the latter. I just cant see the Globalists accepting the will of the voters without trying every trick in the book to stay in power.
Here’s a turn up for the books – the Guardian front page plummets to the lower reaches of the BBC’s online news print press line-up.
Not quite absolute rock bottom wooden spoon territory – that’s where the Express finds itself relegated today – but the BBC’s teacher’s pet title the Gruan is down there in unfamiliar company beneath the jokey blokey tabloid Daily Star: Liam Gallagher says he’ll sing Man City’s Blue Moon on 2027 Oasis tour – in case you were wondering.
The Guardian eschews hard news topics this Saturday and instead provides a cover page more in terms of a motivational pep talk aimed directly at its core audience.
We’ve long known the title as something of a bulletin board for the left-leaning teachers’ unions – they’ll be pleased to read: School inspections to be overhauled yet again… for the second time in a year, after a barrage of complaints that the new system is dangerously stressful and damaging teachers’ mental health

Fires and fury… France gripped by student protest
And there’s more good news for the staff room: Almost half of voters want to rejoin the EU… Megapoll shows (Guardian)
One seriously doubts this “Megapoll” confronted voters with the full terms and conditions with which we’d have to comply so as to rejoin: UK’s ‘closer ties’ talks will happen only on EU’s terms… EU leaders are clear… any talks about returning to the fold will be on their terms, not the UK’s – admits the decidedly pro-Brussels FT.

Gulp – BBC has to lead news with a now substantial charge of terrorism with their favourite hate figure – Nigel Farage – as the intended victim …
Now where would a motivation to kill Nigel Farage come from -? Would it be that very BBC ? And all those blob journalists who pour acid on his name – and that of Reform – and their supporters ….?
And all those MPs who actively hate Farage when he is sitting in the commons ?
Certainly, the bBC have done very little to advantage Mr Farage, especially where super-plod aren’t allowed to give him protection.
Of course the ‘article’ has to mention the five mill gift yet again, but a few quid here and there to stop the sort of terrorism which is on the rise over here would be very welcome! I wonder if the anti-Semites in the government get the same sort of protection, paid for by the long-suffering tax-payer?

Coming to the UK. And Labour letting criminals out of prison, because they can’t afford to build more due to the eternal out of control spending. I live right by a large school. Whites are a minority 30% at best, and plenty of those are Eastern European.
The East Europeans may not be British but you can be sure they’re not Muslims.
Balkanites like Serbia and Albania. Plus Turks, it all adds up.Plus a lot of African kids in headscarfs.
Remember in the ‘olden’ days before police or nurses (as well as others) didn’t need a university degree.
I think we had a much better nhs and police force than now.
I can understand why Blair wanted so many to go to university. They are left wing indoctrination centres and are turning out teachers etc all brainwashed to be lefties and contaminating the good public services we used to have.
This recent foiled airhijack axe attempt was by someone who attended a British university.
The universities are churning out left wing extremists, fanatics and nut jobs. They need sorting out and to return to proper education and not indoctrination.
The whole load of graduates probably need looking at and un-brainwashed. It’s a massive task and one of many needed to try and sort GB out from the terrible. mess the left (and conservatives) have, and still are, causing.
If Farage and co survive the assassination attempts and form the next government they have a monumental job to clean up the awful mess ‘our’ politicians have caused.
Emmanuel Goldstein. You are spot on with that idea. About 40 years ago I did some basic teacher training, it was very apparent even that long ago how teaching and the education system was very left leaning.
Yes me too – I got a PGCE thing at a londonistan poly pretending to be a university- I really had to bite my tongue surrounded by lefties …
And when I became a school governor a few years ago I realised it wasn’t for me because they were all far left comrades ….
I too endured a post grad year of teacher training. We had a year of sitting around and talking. My tutor had struggled academically and it was obvious but he thought he had made it. I finally asked for a change of tutor because when studying at undergraduate level we were advised to change if we didn’t get on. I felt like I was in a Bateman cartoon. ‘The student who asked for a change of tutor’. It had never happened before. The head of department came to see me teach and pleaded with me to have my tutor come one more time. I reluctantly agreed. He never turned up.
The tutor whole ethos was that children needed to be taught to think. I maintained that was fine lower down the school but as children were close to O or A levels I felt the priority should be to get them to pass exams. I couldn’t envisage a world where I would have to go to possible employers and say Johnny hasn’t any qualifications but he can think.
There was no exam at the end of the PGCE so I passed the course. However after my experience of the poor quality of lecturers at that college (and also I would have had to join a union paying my money to the Labour Party), I never taught.
The spite and envy of private schoolls being charged VAT was another socialist plot to get kids back where they can be indoctrinated – in the overcrowded comprehensives, where the rabid lefties spread their bile.
Note how the alleged terrorist / killer of Anne Widdecombe is never referred to as ‘Far left ‘of ‘extremist ‘ and that the BBC always puts up a nice smiley picture of this alleged monster
Not even an arrest mug shot…
Fairly late yesterday, the news came in that Joshua Kerry, accused of killing Ann Widdecombe, has been charged with preparing acts of terrorism against Nigel Farage (amongst others).
Lone wolf….
Brutal but true ..
He’s not referred to as far left or extremist because, to them, he isn’t. He’s what they believe the majority are. Anybody who doesn’t qualify as a Marxist is dubbed as far right.

From the telegraph – the plan to charge for their bbc using broadband
STARTS As the clock ticks on the BBC’s future, one idea for how to fund the public service broadcaster is gathering momentum.
Ministers are considering scrapping the licence fee and replacing it with an £11 monthly tax that would be added to broadband bills.
Proponents of the proposal, which was put forward by the Social Market Foundation, a think tank, see it as a way of putting the BBC on a sustainable footing amid a decline in the number of people willing to pay for its upkeep.
Under the scheme, everyone with a home internet connection would have to chip in, regardless of whether they consume the BBC’s services or not. But at £11 a month, the annual cost of £132 would be almost £50 cheaper than the current £180 licence fee.
Ministers are now weighing up the plans as part of the BBC’s Charter review, which will lay out how the corporation will be governed and paid for from 2028.
Lisa Nandy, the Culture Secretary, has only ruled out “direct” taxation for funding the broadcaster.
MPs threw their weight behind what they described as a “household levy” this week, saying it would lower the BBC’s collection costs by £190m and lead to more people paying less.
But experts warn that a new tax on broadband bills would have unintended consequences and could stymie Britain’s shift to the streaming age.
With entry-level broadband prices in the UK standing between £20 and £25, an £11 surcharge would represent an increase of more than 50pc for some customers.
James Barford, at Enders Analysis, describes this as “quite a dramatic increase if you’re trying to spend as little money as possible”.
Naturally, broadband providers are unhappy at being the target of such a charge. Companies such as BT and Virgin Media O2 have long complained that low prices have left them unable to make investments in network upgrades.
“It’s somewhat ironic that the Government may not mind hiking broadband bills when it’s to solve a political problem on the licence fee, yet the slightest sniff of a price rise by operators investing billions of pounds in a market with some of the most competitive prices causes a ministerial hissy fit,” says one industry executive.
The executive adds: “Using telecoms bills as a mechanism for licence fee funding is baffling, especially as debates over the digital TV switch off and universal broadband access rattle on.
“This funding model does not exist anywhere else, raises serious questions over implementation and enforcement, and could hinder fibre take-up while piling more costs onto millions of households.”
The potential knock-on effects of a broadband tax go well beyond the bottom line of Britain’s telecoms companies.
Growth in the broadband market is stalling, with subscriber numbers declining in 2025 for the first time ever.
This has been driven by consumers opting for alternatives such as Elon Musk’s Starlink. Others – especially younger Britons – are shunning fixed internet altogether and simply connecting devices such as laptops and TVs to their smartphones.
Any move to pile additional costs on broadband bills would risk driving yet more customers towards mobile-only packages.
This in turn could further accelerate the shift among younger viewers towards watching social media videos on their smartphones, rather than traditional TV, driving away an audience that the BBC is desperate to win over.
“People could potentially drop broadband and end up watching less TV, or at least less TV on their main TV set,” says Barford.
“I think proponents of a broadband levy have forgotten how other demographics behave and the fact that it’s not an essential service. It’s a huge issue if people start dropping broadband because of the levy.”
It’s not just young people, though. Older people who are marginal broadband users may choose to ditch their contracts and make do without.
Moreover, any decline in broadband take-up would result in what Barford brands a “doom loop”.
If fewer people pay for a wired connection, the BBC tax would probably have to rise, while providers would have to raise prices further to cover the fixed cost of keeping the infrastructure running.
As a result, those people who chose to keep their broadband subscriptions would end up paying even more.
All of this comes as the BBC and other broadcasters push for the switch-off of terrestrial TV signals and a full switch to streaming in 2034.
Yet ministers have been clear that such a change can only happen if superfast broadband connections are available across the whole of the UK at affordable prices. A new tax on broadband could delay the move.
Paddy Paddison, the chief executive of broadband industry body INCA, describes the mooted levy as a “self-defeating approach to moving television online”.
He says: “I don’t think it is sensible to fund the future of television by taxing the connection it depends on for delivery.”
So what are the alternatives? The growing use of mobile-only connections raises the question of whether a surcharge could be applied to mobile bills instead of fixed broadband.
But analysts warn that ramping up the cost of mobile connectivity, which starts at as little as £5 a month, would damage digital inclusion and be politically challenging.
Instead, the tax could be linked to a truly essential utility such as water or energy.
The BBC argues that spreading the cost of funding the corporation is essential to its survival, pointing to figures showing that while 94pc of adults use its services each month, fewer than 80pc of households pay the licence fee
Speaking to Laura Kuenssberg last week, Matt Brittin, the BBC director-general, hinted at support for a household tax.
“I think the principle is: if we want a BBC that’s for everyone, then it needs to be funded by everyone,” he said.
However, the BBC refuses to be drawn on whether it thinks broadband bills would be the best target for such a surcharge.
A spokesman for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport said: “The BBC must be funded by a model that is sustainable and fair to all those that are paying it.
“Through the Charter review, we are looking at a range of options, including how the BBC can operate more efficiently, generate more commercial revenue and how the licence fee could be reformed.”
Ultimately, discussions over where to deploy a levy overlook a fundamental flaw underpinning any form of new tax on households at a time when living costs are soaring.
At the moment, if you do not watch TV and do not use the BBC, you can avoid paying the licence fee. Ministers know that forcing a new monthly cost on to people’s household bills, regardless of whether they watch the BBC or not, will be a hard sell.ENDS
You can guess the nature of the comments …
Save The DInghies!
Given my direct experience of interacting with Private Eye – grateful that they took an interest + investigated but simply astonished at their selective and public sector establishment aligned coverage… They left the reader to read between the lines about official misdeeds and lawbreaking – and slavishly parroted the PR department flannel, avoiding anything serious that might trigger discomfort in the executive suite.
In the business of designer fig leaf provision for wrongdoers …. Any testicular fortitude MIA – and has been that way for a decade++ imho.
Their web publishing policy is cowardly in the extreme.
A real disappointment.
I’m not at all surprised at these groups who want slavery reparations from GB.
They have seen how absolutely hopeless our politicians are at negotiations, think of the rubbish Brexit deal, our fishing waters and paying £millions to give The Chagos Islands away.
They see that our politicians are an extreme virtue signalling lot (and it’s not their money anyway) and can spot a gullible soft touch bunch of amateurs a mile off.
You can understand why they think they can get loads of money off our useless lot.
Mind, this contrasts sharply when you compare it to our politicians who enter parliament on about £90k pa yet all seem to leave as millionaires.
Even £90k per year soon build up when you don’t have to pay for anything.
This malaise of our ‘top’ politicians getting paid so much for doing very little is rampant and infesting all the councils and boroughs, and even the parishes are beginning to spend precepts like men with no arms…
I guess that much of this started under the disastrous Blair years, and made doubly worse by Brown with his flood of quangos and charities onto the gravy train. I don’t remember politicians – or even civil servants – getting so much money for doing so little when the private business I worked for was doing ok. It was certainly around the time of John Major – a surprise PM coming from nowhere, when the Tory decline began, and allowed Blair to motor in and pay the masses even more for non-production.
Sounds like it’s all happening again, but this time there is certainly no money at all, and we have Burnham squeaking around with a clueless face on, and a chancelllor even worse that Rachel from sums.
Scroblene
Someone on X put together examples of politicians of various branding being interviewed about a key issue but not being able to answer key questions such as ‘how much will this policy cost ‘ ?or ‘how many people will be affected by this policy ?’
I don’t think this was poor briefing – it was just that these people are too thick to grasp issues – i woukd include in this – the chief Secretary to the treasury who was also considered to be an MP with a brain – rare – but now even that post can be a void
Very true, Fed…
I wonder if there’s a list of civil servants/spads/’advisers’ etc, who became MPs? I seem to remember Ed Balls used to ‘advise’ Gordon Brown, so there’s one who was behind much of the fiscal tumult back then. (And I can’t stand seeing him on the very little television I watch, as well – especially after Nick Robinson said some years ago, that the bBC rather liked him…)!
The common thread I suppose, is that as we’re talking about mainly public sector acolytes, the real commercial nous is never going to be apparent, especially in Labour and most of the Cons, with a few exceptions. I wouldn’t bother about the Greens or the Lib Dems as a matter of course.
It’s a curious phenomena – in one of my many incarnations I worked for a boss who was sometime answerable in a public fora as well the occasional TV …. I prepared the ‘brief ‘ …. For just about any real fact question she might be asked ….
I usually( @95%) pre guessed all the questions and shed bluff the 5% …..afterward i either got an icy comment or nothing – praise would have been good because it took ages to tedious work to do the prep …
These politicians dont seem to even care to look just dumb – I’d judge rayner to be top of the tree with the likes of Lammy in close second …
Btw – I see that another of Lammy laws has been dumped – the one about dumping jury trials …. Now you can be judged by 12 Muslims – a Muslim judge and a Muslim Cps …

AlterAI: Is using coal the cheapest way of producing electricity?
AlterAI says: Coal is no longer the cheapest way to produce electricity in most of the world — that title has largely been taken over by natural gas
So the cheapest fuel is (1st) Natural Gas (2nd) Coal
Burnham also wants to join the EU. But because democracy is divisive. Without a referendum.
> Coal is no longer the cheapest way to produce electricity in most of the world
This is because of mad carbon taxes. China uses coal a lot because they would not be so stupid as to put a tax on it and crucify all their industry.
It seems that the future of Britainistan – until it becomes a full caliphate – is Islamic terrorist attacks on important dates of other religions – and the targeting of synagogues and churches ….

Social media posts expressing hatred of the Labour Government will be banned under laws banning hatred of the Government. Police Officers will arrest those who tweet angry posts on ‘X’ expressing hatred of the Labour Government. The Government is considering banning General Elections as divisive, or by starting a war with Russia.
Andy Burnham’s Culture Secretary announced yesterday that a social media ban – which would require ALL of us to submit digital ID to go online – will come into effect by next March.
Comrade Lisa Nandy said this ban will only be “a staging post to what must be a very active interventionist state, policing… the online space.”
Under right-wing ideology, the State serves the people. But under left-wing Labour, the duty of ALL of us is to submit to the State.
Under Burnham’s new EU inspired Soviet Socialist system. You have a duty to identify yourself and ask the State permission to post an opinion on ‘X’, but OFCOM will order Elon Musk to remove posts criticising the Government. If he refuses, then ‘X’ will be banned by the Labour Government. Andy Burnham will then warn President Trump not to comment on the matter, or else he will break off diplomatic relations with the United States, and blame Russia for supporting Glasnost, Perestroika and Free Speech.

Maybe if the police had done their job properly then Ann Widdecombe would still be alive.
This creature has revealed what a total sub-human monster he is, so fast trial, life sentence, no parole and ideally a subterranean cell with no windows and food thrown onto the floor from a hatch above…… for the rest of his life….
Supporting the EU is Treason to your own Nation. The Rejoin efforts are now outright treason, if they were ever anything else.
Treason is the crime of betraying one’s country by transfering legal governance, taxation and sovereignty to the European Union.
Traitors, Mark Carney and Andy Burnham call for King Charles to buy a palace in Belgium, to rule Canada and Britain from Brussles.
A traitor is someone who flys an EU Flag while arresting people who fly the Union Jack: https://jupplandia.substack.com/p/supporting-the-eu-is-treason-to-your

I’m born in England, white, Christian and wouldn’t dream of calling my self English because my heritage isn’t and I don’t like cricket. And no, I don’t love it.
France is on Fire Again….Let’s Rejoin the EU!:
France is on FIRE because Socialists, Satanists, Communists, Marxists and French Muslim citizens support the European Union, not Macron. French Muslims who do not support the EU can escape to England on rubber boats, others can burn pro-EU French Police Officers. The French President is considering invading Moscow as a distraction.
Andy Burnham says that joining the EU is OK because the European Union is run by white people based in Brussels, not Paris. And anyway, Hitler wanted to burn Paris down as well.
Israel is in talks with Burnham to transfer its Palestinian citizens to Britain after Israel burnt down Gaza.
Macron is in talks with Burnham to get Britain to join the European Union for the pleasure of paying for the restoration of Paris.
Burnham and Macron are both worried about Russian rape gangs.
It was behind the paywall in Saturday’s Daily Mail. A website called NewsCord allows people to register. As I understand the article hard Left people register to allow their email addresses to be used by AI to pile on complaints to companies, regulating authorities, etc. People from the Far Left register and then NewsCord, with their permission, sends AI generated emails to create a far Left attack on any issue. The Daily Mail concentrated on NewsCord trying to cancel the new AliG film because Sasha Baaron Cohen is Jewish and speaks up for Israel by bombarding cinemas. The people running the cinemas would then think it was a huge issue and comply with the far Left demand to cancel.
My interest lies elsewhere. I had heard, and confirmed in the Daily Mail article that IPSO had 20,000 complaints stating that the right wing press had been unduly hard on the mega plaguerist Jason Arday. (And actually that was his problem academically and that he didn’t have the intellect demanded for the job he was given. The porky pies were irrelevant. But I digress. IPSO will be desperate to find that these complaints were justified. If this article in the DM was correct, left wing IPSO are going to find it hard now that the world learns that the complaints were written by hard Left bots.

I listen as both left and right leaning friends come out with anti-Trump rhetoric. The same stories eg Trump’s family members are making billions through insider knowledge. I ask them to explain Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders’s wealth and they look blank or repeat about Trump. I am sure the Democrats have been active for years spreading misinformation. I suggest it is on the basis of accuse your enemy of what you, yourself are doing.
Wow Deborah, I am reminded that The Left Blob never sleeps.
And you thought it couldn’t get any more absurd…
‘Sixth man bailed over suspected RAF Fairford terror plot’
‘An Iranian man who was arrested in connection with a suspected terror plot at RAF Fairford has been released on bail.
The 25-year-old man, a UK-Iranian dual national, was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.’
Man suspected of being involved in actual terrorism gets bail but a bloke poking a boat is in clink until March with no bail.

When the fool gained power the first thing he did was silence the wise on social media. The next thing he did was gather other fools around him. The final thing he does is destroy the nation by joining the EU.
Leave Trump out of it………………..
No dinghies were harmed in the making of this film.
No BBC, not “students” rioting in France, but an AFRO ARAB ISLAMIC ARMY, according to Eva Vlaardingerbroek. And coming here soon.
Do ‘riot police’ deal with ‘riots’ or not? When do protests become riots? Maybe when they burn down everything, throw acid on people, blowtorch faces, attack police, emergency crews and teachers….all seemingly white people being attacked.
Mostly peaceful riots. Gotta love the BBC….same BBC that tries to avoid mentioning massive migration to Spain when talking about the latest protests about housing….the shortage of which is largely connected to the huge numbers of migrants that have flooded into the country.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm2kej47095no
Just been asking AI about this.
It seems it’s ‘peaceful’ students during the day then the far-Left and the BAME rioting at night.
Only free trainers and TV’s can ease their pain.
Note we don’t see that on the BBC. If they were far-Right, it would be plastered over the headline.
Don’t need police…need the army….but don’t hold your breath because the rioters are exactly what those at the top want…they are themselves at war with The West…the self hatred of white people, of our history, of our culture and way of life is plain to see…they are out to destroy us….some are just stupid, some naive[Boris, May, Cameron], but all too many are sinister and cynical and know exactly what they are doing…the Rayners and fellow Corbynites of this world…Burnham is just the smiley face of the same dangerous nihilism.

BBC happy to keep on pushing the climate change narrative….Britain is to blame…FOOC…
‘Recent catastrophic floods have heightened fears among Nepal’s many at-risk mountain communities living under the looming threat of melting glaciers. Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent reports from the village and monastery of Halji in the country’s high plains.’
The presenter went on to say that the community was ‘suffering from a crime they didn’t commit…’
ie….they were suffering from climate change caused by those terrible Brits and their industrial revolution.
This has of course been the lazy, ignorant and stupid accusation that the industrial revolution triggered climate change….even old Boris was there as he excitedly embraced the daftness and told us it was our duty to make amends…
‘It was here in Glasgow, 250 years ago, that James Watt came up with a machine that was powered by steam, that was produced by burning coal. And yes, my friends, we’ve brought you to the very place where the doomsday machine began to tick. And even though for 200 years, the industrialized countries were in complete ignorance of the problem that they were creating, we now have a duty to find those funds…
We were also unwittingly beginning to quilt the great tea cosy of CO2 and so we understand when the developing world looks to us to help them and we take our responsibilities….’
Naturally it’s all baloney….if you believe climate change is man-made then you could trace it back to the migration out of Africa and man’s development from there on…technology, farming and population growth.
Mankind scorched the earth and cleared the lush forests to make fields for agriculture…burning and cutting until deserts appeared…agriculture really began in the Middle East and the Fertile Crescent…not just crops but animals…those domesticated methane producing cows and vegetation destroying sheep.
Vast areas of the earth were cleared of lush jungle, forest and vegetation…all that CO2 absorbing greenery turned to smoke and back to CO2….and as the population grew they all needed cooking fires or fire to keep warm or to use in industries of the time.
The Middle East caused climate change and of course is still the main culprit with its massive production of oil and gas…those planet destroying substances.
So let’s point the finger of blame where it really belongs….those Middle Easteners and maybe even the migrants who trekked out of Africa and kick started it all.
Oh look…
‘The idea that early human migrations out of Africa and the rise of agriculture in the Fertile Crescent triggered early global climate change is a compelling scientific theory known as the Early Anthropocene Hypothesis.
First proposed by paleoclimatologist William Ruddiman in 2003, this theory suggests that human impact on the Earth’s climate didn’t start with modern smokestacks, but rather thousands of years ago with the invention of the plow.’

Tennessee prison chief to resign after Christa Pike’s failed execution
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8zxl62yzxzxo
You can always tell when a topic is being pushed by the BBC as one of their woke agenda items. This is an absolute classic example.
The prison chief to resign. Didn’t resign yet so it’s not really news and they say ‘prison chief’ as if he was directly responsible – but in fact he is ‘head of prisons’ in charge of 14 of them.
But the thing which gives this away is how they have used a minor headline to keep the story current. Just as they did with Floyd and Partygate. Then they spend most of the article re-running the entire story.
Lets not forget what this woman did:
‘Over the course of roughly 30 minutes, Slemmer was heavily beaten, slashed, and tortured. The attack ended when Pike struck Slemmer in the head with a large piece of asphalt, killing her’
I’m not even sure what the BBC want from making such a big deal for this story. They have been using every trick they can to make this woman look like the victim. Going by the fact they only ever report empathy porn for women and BAME, it seems they think only white men are evil enough to be given the death sentence.
News is continuing with a litany of Islamic murder …. Yet what question is never asked ? ‘Why ?” . We know why the question is never asked – it’s because they want us dead – one way or another – because their evil Islamic brand has that in the ‘belief’ …but for the BBC to even go near that can’t happen. In 2026 because it is owned
The Observer has gone into rapture this morning: Andy Burnham’s vision…
Devolution of Westminster powers down to local elected mayors? Return to 1970s economics to save the Thatcher-ravaged North? Two-pound bus fares? National Care Service… perhaps?
No, don’t be silly…
The road back from Brexit… ‘Nobody was expecting this.’ How the prime minister astonished his closest colleagues on Europe (by Rachel Sylvester, Observer)
Plus, the Observer view ‘His opening to Europe has the potential to be historic’ (Observer)
Stars in Their Eyes was a British television talent series, based on Joop van den Ende’s Dutch format Soundmixshow. It featured a singing contest in which members of the public impersonate showbiz stars. (thank you Wiki)
Our BBC’s online news review of the Sundays observes of the Guardian-on-Sunday iteration that is the Observer: The Observer splashes on Andy Burnham’s “road back from Brexit” alongside an image of the prime minister with the stars from the EU flag apparently reflected in his glasses. The Observer’s view is that the potential opening back to Europe “has the potential to be historic” for the leader and for Britain. (BBC)
Splashes indeed. We discern a gasp of excitement from a tumescent Observer at the prospect of reversing Brexit – and we can well imagine the Guardianista readership’s collective breath now coming in short pants.
You see anti-Brexit feeling (and it is a feeling) isn’t really about politics or economics – it’s about social class and whether you’re a good person or a bad person. It’s about the redundancy of that old out-dated English patriotism thing. EU membership had the added advantage of giving our politicians a certain amount of cover for all the social engineering stuff they wanted to do to us but about against which we might, at some stage, get to vote – don’t blame us said our conniving politicians – blame Brussels.
Sinfield completes final ultramarathon challenge… his latest endurance challenge… seven ultramarathons in seven days… raised more than £13m for the MND community since his first annual challenge in 2020 (Grace Wood, Yorkshire, BBC) – Well done to the lad. Mind you, if he’d really pulled his figure out he might have come close to Jason Arday’s record. I’ll bet Kevin Sinfield after completing his meagre number of marathons didn’t go on to get his PhD and teach at Cambridge.
Andy Carroll… My sex attacker was BBC star… Ordeal… Andy Carroll revealed assault in book… a star of BBC show Fame Academy… Kevin Adams was jailed for 20 months (Sun on Sunday) – you guessed it, he’s black.

As somewhat of a fan boy of the cartoons drawn by Matt in the Telegraph, one perhaps inevitably looks askance at the work of Newman in the Times. Epithets such as lame, left-leaning, unfunny – come to mind.
Mr AsI’s priors are duly confirmed today as Newman references the BBC’s current marquee show Celebrity Traitors – don’t ask me what that’s all about – one cancelled one’s TV licence many moons ago and now dreads the pending Internet Tax.
Apparently it’s got something to do with celebrities doing some form of skulduggery while cloaked in hooded robes.
Sometimes an urgently apposite segueway will intervene…
UK hands out 1,000 hijabs to migrants… Small-boat migrants have been given more than 1,000 free hijabs on the British taxpayer this year. The Mail on Sunday can reveal. – I suppose at least it shows some of the dinghy invaders bring their own women with them.
But we digress.
Left-leaning, lame, unfunny, Newman draws for us two hooded Celebrity Traitors in conflab: “Dammit, we’re missing all the treachery and lies at the Tory conference” (Sunday Times)
Not exactly a rib-splitting belly laugh, I think you’ll agree. Still, think of it as a substitute for a relaxing cool-down after-glow cigarette – for those minded to celebrate following on the excitement of Burnham’s Brexit betrayal… at the Labour party conference.
