‘Government ministers, newspaper columnists, ordinary people – they’re all asking why the BBC doesn’t say the Hamas gunmen who carried out appalling atrocities in southern Israel are terrorists.

The answer goes right back to the BBC’s founding principles.

Terrorism is a loaded word, which people use about an outfit they disapprove of morally. ‘

    Yeah but…when it suits….like…if they’re Jewish undocumented migrants….

R4’s WATO asked if Jewish settlers battling with Palestinians are terrorising them or trying to drive them out…or both? The Hamas loving Jon Donnison said both…they are terrorising the Palestinians and ethnically cleansing them.

So…Jews are terrorists? Are Jonny Dymond and Jon Donnison both Green voters?

Whatever happened to ‘Terrorism is a loaded word, which people use about an outfit they disapprove of morally. It’s simply not the BBC’s job to tell people who to support and who to condemn – who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.’?

Guess Jews are the bad guys eh BBC.

Lisa Nandy is wanting us all to pay a license to watch YouTube.

People posting on YouTube are providing the programming that the BBC won’t provide and at a fraction of the cost that it would cost on the BBC. On YouTube nobody is paying a Director General a huge salary, or a head of News also on a six figure salary, nor a newsreader on a similar sum.

I watch a couple of cooking channels made by two different gentlemen from the north east, cooking cheap food from basics. They don’t have a large production team, probably themselves and a camera. We don’t have a push to using vegan ‘meat’, lentils or organic eggs.

I watch podcasts like heretics and trigonometry. They probably have one or two behind the camera but the cost of production is likely minimal.

I watch a lady trying on clothes from supermarkets and cheaper stores. She starts her videos with a chat and what she has been doing during the week and then models her haul in her hall. Her videos are very obviously just the lady and her camera.

I am using these as examples. These people are confident and polished in front of the camera. There may be occasional hiccoughs but they deal with them well,

Why should we, the Great British public pay money to the BBC to spend huge sums making programmes people don’t want to see whilst these people can make things I do want to see so cheaply.

If in doubt, look at the number of subscribers, these channels have. These are the number of viewers the BBC has lost.
