   Looking at the ‘listings ‘( American ?) it seem the bbc is putting the US midterm elections on BBC1 – for 6 hours on Wednesday night – with Myrie as ‘host ‘… …. I don’t recall them doing that before …
   Perhaps they are banking on champagne popping with the failure of the Trump regime ….and the term ‘lame duck president ‘ about to be regular use in the next 2 years …

     Sadly, the BBC are probably right for a change: Trump probably will do badly at the elections.
     Beacause of Iran, of course. Ironically, he did the right thing to try and disarm the rotten regime before they got nuclear capability, unlike his two predecessors who just funnelled in mountains of cash.
     Unfortunately the war didn’t go his way. The despotic islamist regime with billions of petro-dollars and a murderous military and security apparatus proved more resilient than anticipated.
