BACK HOME…

Have you been joining in the BBC celebrations as Gitmo Jihadist Binyam Mohamed touches backBinyam Mohamed getting off his plane down on home soil? Not HIS home soil, of course, after all Ethiopiais a lot further to travel, but you get the general idea. I was listening to Peter Allen discussing this on Radio Five this evening and was amazed at his insistence that Binyam (as his lawyer would insist) was an innocent abroad and – get this – his travelling to Afghanistan to seek help for his ..ahem…”drug issues” was perhaps quite innocent given that the Taliban were in charge back then and would have frowned upon any drug taking. Do you think Peter might be missing a few points re the Taliban? It’s quite stunning how each time Gitmo spews forth one of these pseudo Brits like Binyam and Moazzem the BBC turns them into cause celebres. I bet the Jihadi can’t believe their luck when the left wing dhimmified media, best exemplified by Al Beeb, roll out the red carpet for them.

HE’S BIN AWAY TOO LONG!

I see the BBC are drooling in anticipation that new Jihad poster boy Binyan Mohamed is due to come back to Blighty next week! Love the pic of him here posing beside the Thames – wonder was it tourism or reconnaissance? The BBC are so enthusiastic about portraying Binyam as a cheerful Brit that it is almost amusing. Wonder have they more pics of him dressed up as Pearly King doing the Lambeth Walk … before he went on his travels to Al Queda’s holiday camps?

WHAT ALLAH HAS JOINED TOGETHER….

Did you catch this item on Today just after 7.30am discussing the issue of polygamy and Islam? The topic was, correctly in my view, raised by Baroness Warsi, and her view is that in the UK one man should be legally married to one woman. Naturally dark ages Islam finds such concepts difficult but in this lengthy broadcast item by Zubeida Malik, the clear impression given was the mainstream Islam, and all good Imams, oppose polygamy and it is not the way of the Religion of Peace. Total and absolute nonsense. The BBC is prepared to turn truth on its head in order not to offend tender Islamic sensibilities and in this regard, for once, I applaud Warsi for saying that which the BBC dhimmis find untenable — namely that BRITISH law should operate in this United Kingdom, not the tenets of Sharia.

BINYAM UPDATE

There is NOTHING the BBC likes more than the chance to shill for terrorists, sorry, I meant militants. Hence we were treated to another five minute ad for “Britain” Binyam Mohamad on Today this morning. Ethiopian illegal immigrant Mohamad is now an official BBC cause celebre and the fact that this captured Jihadist ticks all the boxes for the BBC clearly adds to his attraction. His only crime was to be caught but now he will get more time devoted to him than all those many victims of Jihad. The BBC doesn’t give a damn about real victims when there are those like Binyam to celebrate.

GAZAN UPDATE.

I would urge you to be sitting down as you listen to Jeremy Bowen’s latest report from Gaza. It’s amazing, isn’t it, to listen to such naked partisanship dressed up as reporting? Jeremy is nothing more than a pro-Palestinian talking head, doing everything possible to diminish the Israeli response to the savagery of Hamas. He concludes his ever so world-weary diatribe by saying “let’s hope there is a cease-fire soon”. Why? He is now offering opinion which favours one side (Hamas) in the conflict, is this not bias? And while we are at it, I notice the BBC is STILL pushing the death statistics of those in Gaza as one BIG media friendly number, whilst they breakdown Israeli deaths by military/civilian. We hear how many kids have allegedly died in Gaza, we never hear how many Hamas terrorists have been killed. Isn’t that a little odd? The BBC seem determined to portray the deaths of all those in Gaza as being the deaths of innocents. It’s sickening to behold.

PARISIAN PERPLEXITY

I was intrigued by this item the BBC ran on Today this morning concerning what it alleges is the “raised tensions” between the Jewish and Muslim communities in France. As far as I am aware, the “raised tension” seems to manifest itself in only one direction, as the Molotov cocktails hurled at a synagogue north of Paris by “youths” demonstrates. I know that the French Interior Minister, Michele Alliot-Marie, in a wonderful example of dhimmitude, has been suggesting that there has been anti-Jewish AND anti-Muslim violence in France but the thing is that there is no evidence anywhere of any violence by the French Jewish community against Fench Muslims. Thing is, there is plenty of evidence when it comes to Muslim attacks on Jews but a total absence of attacks on those Banlieue “youths” that so enjoy a good riot. It would do the BBC better to report facts, not engage in wishful thinking, and that includes those occasions when the facts do not suit their moral relativist narrative.

THE GAZA MYTHS.

Funny how the BBC keeps reporting that Gaza is “amongst the most densely populated places on Earth.” They were at it again this morning. When one considers that the population density of the Palestinian disputed territories is below that of, say The Channel Islands, the Hamas apologists preferred retort is to single out just the Gaza strip and base their argument on its population density. Well it IS indeed quite densely populated but there are over a thousand areas within West Yorkshire, for example, which have much higher levels of population density, as indeed has the little Satan’s Tel Aviv. So, in the interests of fairness, I wonder why BBC in these locations fail to preface ever report with this equally true demographic? Oh, that’s right – it’s about pushing the “Most Oppressed People in the Universe” narrative uber alles. It’s not news anymore, it is propaganda.

SCIENCE AND ISLAM.

Make sure that you tune in tomorrow night to BBC 4 where “in the first of a new series entitled “Science and Islam” physicist Jim Al-Khalili travels through Syria, Iran, Tunisia and Spain to tell the story of the great leap in scientific knowledge that took place in the Islamic world between the 8th and 14th centuries. Its legacy is tangible, with terms like algebra, algorithm and alkali all being Arabic in origin and at the very heart of modern science – there would be no modern mathematics or physics without algebra, no computers without algorithms and no chemistry without alkalis. For Baghdad-born Al-Khalili this is also a personal journey and on his travels he uncovers a diverse and outward-looking culture, fascinated by learning and obsessed with science“.

LOL – you couldn’t make it up. Outward-looking culture.

THE QUEEN’S SPEECH

I see the BBC has been trailing tomorrow’s Queen’s speech. It appears she makes reference to the worries that “extremist violence” bring around the world. Mmm..“extremist violence” — as in Bombay for example, as in Afghanistan…oh, now I get, they meant to say Islamic violence. Peace on earth, goodwill to Jihadists, right? I wish the BBC did not read from the same supine lexicon as this dhimmified Government but of course the BBC is really just a part OF government so we can expect to see further Islamic violence in 2009 sanitised from any connection with Islam.

It depends where you start from…

There is room for a whole thesis-worth of discussion in this on-the-face-of-it stark raving lunatic headline from the BBC in this article:

‘Some Imams ‘biased against women”

What I say is this just points out the need to work harder at increasing the number of female Imams. Oh. Wait a minute…

The BBC- not p.c. at all, oh no.
