Interviewers on BBC World service sometimes employ questioning techniques that stray far from ‘drawing out’ the interviewee, and seamlessly slide into clumsy hectoring. I see that Carol Thatcher has received death threats over her alleged ‘golliwog’ comment about a tennis player.
