British-funded Super PAC produces campaign ad for Obama

A recent Washington Post poll found that nearly 3/4 of Americans support voter ID laws. The old, the poor and non-whites all back the measures: Moreover, big majorities of those whom critics see as bearing the brunt of the laws are supportive of them, including about three-quarters of seniors and those with household incomes under $50,000 and two-thirds of non-whites. In the Democrat state of Illinois even the president was … Continue reading

Mischief Making Imp

Evan Davis was speaking today to the amiable old fellow Michael Heseltine….the Coalition must have a  death wish asking him to review their economic policies…. Davis has his own views on those policies….believing there are no policies at all, the Treasury, George Osborne that is, has given up governing and has surrendered the initiative by collapsing into a ‘defeatist apathetic’ huddle that has lost all hope of finding a way … Continue reading

FLASH IN THE PAN GORDON

Wonder if the BBC will ever get round to investigating this from Guido: ‘Sources close to Linklaters whisper to Guido that while Leveson only asked for specific evidence from 2008 onwards, they collected testimony from Fred Michel dating back to the crucial election-that-never-was period in 2007 that was not heard at the inquiry. This includes embarrassing details of failed attempts by Brown’s aides to lobby Murdoch for support and more … Continue reading

A Red Rose By Any Other Name

Stephanie Flanders is caught on the horns of a dilemma…no,  not which labour senior politician to date next but how to report seemingly all round political support for the self evidently daft idea of a ‘living wage’. In her recent programme about Keynes  Flanders pretty much used every one of Miliband’s latest ‘lines’ in her eulogy to the benefits of borrowing and spending more…but here, in this report, you might … Continue reading

Katty Kay Tweets Political Endorsement

The latest tweet from Katty Kay, BBC Washington correspondent and anchor of what’s left of BBC World News America, and the highest-profile Beeboid in the US: How about Bloomberg/Booker for a let’s get this done bipartisan ticket? — Katty Kay (@KattyKayBBC) October 30, 2012 First of all, Bloomberg is no longer a Republican, hasn’t been for years. He quit that Party and has been calling himself an independent since 2007 … Continue reading

KEEP A WEATHER EYE OUT FOR THIS

The BBC’s most powerful weapon is its ability to rewrite history….to maintain its own narrative over an extended, indeed infinite, time….it owns the ‘right’ and numerous platforms to broadcast what it pleases to back up its own beliefs, and that is what it does. A historical fact, such as the BBC were found guilty of lying about the Iraq War Dossier has now been morphed into ‘the BBC was right … Continue reading

NEW HORIZON!

Did anyone catch the extremely combative interview on Today this morning at 7.31am between Ed Davey and John Humphyrs? It concerned the welcome news that a new buyer of Horizon, the UK’s nuclear power building project, has been found – and is planning to build a range of new power stations across the country. Naturally the BBC editorial line is to object to this and Humphyrs went after Davey with a … Continue reading

HOT AIR ABOUT SANDY…

Well, the BBC were NEVER going let Hurricane Sandy pass without a little bit of climate alarmism. The Today programme were hyping it up this morning, with an “expert” on hand to inform us that these “extreme weather” events were without precedent and the listener was left with the clear impression that climate change is the game changer.  This is not news, it is insidious propaganda.

THE LIVING WAGE…

BBC been pushing the “Living Wage” agenda all day I see. Listened to Stephanie Flanders earlier as she was very disingenuous on the issue. She dismissed concerns that this “Living Wage” would actually cost jobs by comparing the critics of it to those who forecast that the equally socialist construct of a minimum wage would cost ” a lot of jobs”. She subtly avoided sharing with us just HOW many … Continue reading
