Did anyone catch the extremely combative interview on Today this morning at 7.31am between Ed Davey and John Humphyrs? It concerned the welcome news that a new buyer of Horizon, the UK’s nuclear power building project, has been found – and is planning to build a range of new power stations across the country. Naturally the BBC editorial line is to object to this and Humphyrs went after Davey with a … Continue reading
Well, the BBC were NEVER going let Hurricane Sandy pass without a little bit of climate alarmism. The Today programme were hyping it up this morning, with an “expert” on hand to inform us that these “extreme weather” events were without precedent and the listener was left with the clear impression that climate change is the game changer. This is not news, it is insidious propaganda.
BBC been pushing the “Living Wage” agenda all day I see. Listened to Stephanie Flanders earlier as she was very disingenuous on the issue. She dismissed concerns that this “Living Wage” would actually cost jobs by comparing the critics of it to those who forecast that the equally socialist construct of a minimum wage would cost ” a lot of jobs”. She subtly avoided sharing with us just HOW many … Continue reading
I was having a browse through the BBC’s “Health” section and for some inexplicable reason the world class BEEB seem to have missed this story. I wonder why? Let’s face it, the NHS is as much of an anachronism as the BBC and that helps to explain why the BBC presents a very unbalanced and biased
Most excellent post here on The Register! Do read it. “Far from the Jimmy Savile scandal, the director of BBC News Helen Boaden took the witness stand in London today. A squad of Beeb legal staff, including two barristers, crammed into a small court room to support the£354,000-a-year news chief against her opponent, a North Wales pensioner who was accompanied only by his wife. The case is a six-year freedom of … Continue reading
Following David’s indepth and well-founded post about the BBC’s very own ‘Stepford Wife’, Justin Webb, I looked at Webb’s article and noted his loud praise for the melting pot, the common unity of a nation that can be forged by the media helping to create common references and bonds: ‘And of course a media market brings with it a sense of fellow-feeling: folks watch the same TV and advertisements … Continue reading
Sardine can Britain: What life will be like in 2050 when experts predict the population will have exploded to 80million. That’s not a story you are likely to hear repeated on the BBC….immigration for them is wonderful…the more the merrier….the diversity, the cosmopolitan nature of our cities, the wonders of having 300 languages in London schools….. The BBC colluded with Labour to hide the scale and effects of mass … Continue reading
You might remember the Guardian attempting to interfere in a US election and being rudely rebuffed and told to mind its own business…it looks like the BBC hasn’t learnt that lesson…….. A just-out BBC World Service poll surveying 22,000 people in 21 countries found a wide preference for President Obama in the presidential race, who scored 50 percent favorable among all respondents to Mitt Romney’s 9 percent. Almost a … Continue reading
