“At least JR bothers to do his homework, didn’t come here just to insult David Vance, and doesn’t have the prejudice that non-Leftoids are all racist fascists who want the BBC to call for the extermination of all Moozlims or whatever”

Are there 2 John Reith’s then David?

Except for a couple of drive-by incidents, I’m pretty sure there’s only one. In any case, when I get into a discussion with him, he will generally make an effort to look into things. More than just looking for old BBC articles, I mean. I’m not saying he comes to the table fully prepared by any means, but he has clearly made honest attempts to do some homework during discussions with me and others.

The same cannot be said for most of the BBC defenders and trolls.

You yourself David are an intelligent and reasoned poster on this site. And you are also a lot more charitable than I would ever be toward JR.

The personal attacks he made on DV, the desperate attempt to drag his character through the mud just to win his feeble minded arguments proves the sort of person he really is.

Also, the fact that he posts up here so much during his working day, shows what a work-shy sponger he is.

Tidy your desk drawer or something J.R. Seriously, there must be something worthwhile you can do with that £100K a year the general public are paying you.

Apt choice of initials for him though. I’m hoping to have a reason to dig out one of my old T-Shirts from 1980 and wear it in his memory.

Appreciated, but I’m just relating my experience.

‘Am I the only person who is sick to bloody death of hearing what Ms. Shami Chakrabarti has to say?’

No, Andrew: I’m sick to bloody death of her, too. I’m sick of that pigging Ali Baba Brown woman as well and all the other lying, Lefty quack-heads the BBC promotes day in and day out.

I feel a bit better now.

Front page of Beeb is currently ‘Rock nationalisation ‘right move’. Now, that is obviously a quote from Brown. But with an issue as serious as this you do not start the story with the opinion of the people who have actually done it. The headline should be ‘Northern Rock to be nationalised’, and nothing else.

Another characteristically searching and balanced BBC report, in no way leaning towards the government:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/educa…ion/ 7249090.stm

“Not dumbing down” at all. “Continuous speaking assessment of pupils in controlled conditions”. Yes, a quiet conversation with teacher is obviously a far more rigorous exercise than facing an external examiner, and all part of Labour’s continuing to raise educational standards.

What an absolutely hilarious site. The very suggestion that an institution that has Nick ‘Tory boy’ Robisnon leading its current affairs coverage is some sort of pinko conspiracy! It is utterely laughable, but thanks, dear right wing conspiracy theorists, for adding a bit of comedy to my lunch break.

Tell me, when was the last time a BBC programme advocated what the country needs and polls keep suggesting people want – higher taxes to pay for public services? All Beeb journalists are middle class and well paid, their agenda is that of people who are middle class and well paid and don’t want higher taxes. They’re probably also againt racism and homophobia, which is obviously another example of PC gone mad…

Have any of you people listened to Nicky ‘Daily Mail’ Campbell on Five Live in the mornings? And you think the BBC is biased to the LEFT? Get lives…
