The war on the Jews.

Gotta love the BBC – it remains consistent in its pro-Palestinian reporting at all times! Take the news that “Israeli forces have carried out further attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 26 Palestinians.” Three points here;
1. Who says that 26 people have been killed? Oh yes, Hamas. And they would never lie, right?
2. Why did the Israelis launch these counter-attacks on Gaza? Oh yes, because of the HUNDREDS of rockets Hamas terrorists have been firing into Israel. To the BBC however the scale of the Palestinian rocket onslaught remains unmentioned – it gives no figures to help us contextualise the issue.
3. Who are these Hamas “militants” to whom the BBC obliquely refers? Can’t they say the word “terrorist” since that is clearly the word which best sums up those who shelter amongst Gaza civilians whilst targeting innocent Israeli civilians with indiscriminate rocket fire?
Oh, and one final observation. The BBC refers to the fact that the launch of Israeli missiles into the Gaza area is causing the poor oppressed Gaza citizens to lose sleep. I am curious as to why the noise coming from the launch of hundreds of Qassam missiles from Gaza into Israel does not also disturb their sleep? Maybe that is a comforting sound to them and helps send them to sleep? Obviously the thought would never enter a BBC mind.
This BBC report is riddled with bias on this issue – check out the last two sentences of the report if you want further proof of how the BBC always gives the last words to the psycho Palis!.

    “Pounce, I will find it difficult to ever take you seriously if you are seriously accusing Paxman or that interview of being biased. Watch it again. Open you mind. Put aside your own views. This is what the BBC does, but you can clearly not.”

    Joel, I watched that interview again here is my transcript of that interview.
    (Note I am only including what paxo states)
    Time stamp 20:40
    Paxo speaks
    “Well over a hundred Palestinians including children have been killed by the Israelis in their latest onslaught which they said was launched to neutralise rockets launched from Gaza.
    (From the start the death toll is set with clear facts gleaned from the Pals while the reason Israel is doing so is made to look inconclusive)

    At 28:29 Ahmed Yosef the Hamas spokesman’s is allowed to take the chair.
    At 29:26 Paxo speaks
    What the Israeli is saying is that they were prepared to live with one level of rocket attack, then you increased the level of rocket attack and you started hitting places like the city of Ashgelon. They saw that as an increase and they increased their response.
    At 30.37 Paxo speaks
    “Nobody denies that innocent people women and children have been killed by the Israeli in these attacks. Nobody denies that.
    But I put it to you that your tolerance of the rocket attacks upon Israel is actually an attempt to divert peoples attention from the fact that the Hamas government in Gaza is completely incompetent.
    At 31.20 Paxo interjects
    “Would you like to negotiate with the Israeli?”
    At 32.14 Paxo interrupts
    “Hang on, I didn’t use the word surrender, I asked if you wished to negotiate and I take it you and Hamas having seeing what happened when the Palestinian authority entered into negotiations your answer is still no.

    At 32.43 Paxo opens;
    “We are joined now by the Israeli ambassador Ron Prosser.” “You can’t honestly believe that this attack will bring peace.”
    At 33.29 Paxo speaks;
    “You’ve just conceded that you don’t believe in the short term or possibly in the long term this will bring peace.. You’ve killed over a hundred people, you’ve perhaps killed 2 dozen children. Is this enough for you?”
    At 34.03 Paxo interrupts;
    “It doesn’t look like self defence at all Mr Prosser at all, it looks like the best armed country in the region making war on the most densely populated and one of the most improvist parts of the region. You know how it looks?”
    At 34:29 Paxo interrupts;
    “Are you not impressed with the fact you haven’t flattened it completely.”
    At 35:04 Paxo speaks;
    “You’ve conceded that you don’t believe in the short term that this will bring you peace, the only thing that is going to bring you peace in the longer term is talk. That is how peace is arrived. Are you prepared to talk to Hamas?
    At 35.22 Paxo interrupts;
    So the answer to the question is no?
    At 35;54 Paxo interrupts;
    “Your going to have to talk to them at some point”
    At 36:10 Paxo interrupts;
    34% of Israelis want to talk to them.
    At 36:40 Paxo speaks
    “Ambassador thank you.”

    Throughout the interviews Paxo makes an effort not to offend the terrorist. (maybe he fears getting his head chopped of on the telly) Conciliatory is not the word. The Hamas spokesman is allowed to rabbit on about how he is a victim, how they didn’t start this. (The Israeli did) and how the world has to help them. Victim,Victim,Victim.
    In stark contrast knowing the Israelis won’t chop off his head Paxo attacks the Jew like an attack dog. Now I don’t know about you but in my book there is a bias in how Paxo goes easy on the terrorist but takes a much harder line on the victim. Even more worrying is how the terrorist is allowed to spread his propaganda of how he is a victim, how the Jews started it all, and how they want the world to see their plight. Strange how Paxo didn’t take him to task for firing off all those rockets. (over 5000) yet he feels like asking the ambassador if he has killed enough children.
    Joel you asked me to open my mind not only is it open but it has been for some time.. I get the feeling you would rather have me open my mind to only what you feel is acceptable and not as I keep on pointing out as the truth.
    P.S
    Just for the info I buy the Guardian. I think its great and get really upset when I have to buy the times or the torygraph.
    Here is something from yesterday you may wish to bang your drum about;
    “The rise and fall of a louse is tragic in the eyes of the louse and in the hearts of scientists who love that louse. “The drop in pubic lice in women appears to be most dramatic around 2000 and coincided with the introduction of extensive waxing techniques, such as the ‘Brazilian’, in women in the United Kingdom.”

    Pounce, that’s toss. He told the Hamas bloke that it was their fault the Israelis are hitting Gaza and accused them of a cover up for their abject incompetence. He told the Israeli bloke that they were causing civilian deaths which was bad PR in the context of the overwhelming military imbalance. He told both of them that their actions were pointless and interminable in the context of their refusal to speak to each other. He basically sounded pissed off of the whole affair – and so say most of us. No bias whatsoever – brilliant broadcasting.

    Afraid so. All part of Hamas’ plan – they got the idea from the improvisional IRA.

    A common misconception. Islamists are not in any way amused by beards as civilised people are, instead they spend vast sums of money on novelty clean-shaven chins, which they consider hilarious.
