TYRANTS AND THE RELIGION OF PEACE.

You have to laugh at it all really. Yesterday the BBC reported on the attendance of Robert Mugabe at the UN Food Conference in Rome without managing to consider how it it that the UN could invite a man to such an event who starves his own people to death. EU compliance with the Mugabe jamboree was similarly ignored by the BBC itself. Today, the BBC reports the good news that at a meeting in Saudi Arabia the Islamic Development Bank said it would spend $1.5bn (£760m) over five years to help the least developed Muslim countries tackle the food crisis. If only the decadent west could follow the good example shown by the Islamic world, right? The BBC loves one thing more than an African tyrant and that is a gaggle of Islamic tyrants.

The BBC’s attitude to Islam, communism or anything else is dictated by their need to rebel to the suburban extent. The BBC is a broadcasting polytechnic.

The poor of the Middle East (e.g. Gaza) are mainly subsidised by the West, notably by the USA.

The Arab oil billionaires give the poor of their countries a low priority, are inclined to get out of their (self-imposed) restrictive Islamic desert societies, and prefer to spend as much of their time as possible in Western civilisation and to spend on luxury goods, vacations and buying up properties here at the new, low knock-down prices:

If two religions both believe that there is a god, is it the same non existant god they believe in or two different non existent gods.

And why do I only have to worry about upsetting Muslims and not people of any other religion.

Exactly what has your personal atheistic faith position stated here got to do with BBC bias?

Please do not let us see these blogs get hijacked into an atheism/theism ‘debate’, there are plenty of other (admittedly mostly juvenile) such blogs on the net, take it there.

I doubt he’s running away, or have you banned him again? I thought you knew if someone has a static IP address it can be banned, but if they aren’t static they won’t be banned, because it doesn’t work. Still if you want to play cat and mouse?????

    I’ll be seeing you here?

    Disgraceful bias.

What do these ‘example’ families/persons ever prove?

In this case 6 out of 6 billion.

In other cases the BBC does 4 people give us their views or 6 women on this panel or whatever.

Its done on so many things, elections, the budget, climate change, USA, nuclear, whatever.

    Totally unscientific.

    Guaranteed to be bias.

The BBC has a higher standard to uphold, but its actually lower than most.

Why do the BBC persist over the years with this discredited method?

previous postings meb=ntioned the beebs diferential treatment in the naming of various mythological religious figures.

While the theology does not matter to me the beeb does appear to give more respect to one particular religion. The only one that might send a mentaly disabled suicide bomber into braodcasting house.

So there is a question of how sincere there respect for Islam is.

If you want to be righteous how about putting your name on your postings.
