THE PAIN FOR PALIN.

Sarah Palin(Did I mention she has a pregnant unmarried 17 year old daughter?) has given a wonderful speech at the RNC and the BBC are most unhappy about it. I caught James Naughtie being interviewed about it at 6.35am this morning on Today and all he could observe was that by Palin (Did I mention she has a pregnant unmarried 17 year old daughter?) going for Obama – the Chosen One – she now left herself open to attack by Obama. Seriously!! As if the orchestrated and frenzied attacks on Sarah Palin and her famly by the Dem attack dogs and their media chattels since last Friday were just political foreplay. Oh – and whilst she may have covered ethics reform, energy policy, chief executive policy AND exposed the Chosen One’s lack of experience, James wrily noted she had not covered global warming. There you go then – Palin’s speech – just typical conference fare which plays into Obama’s hands. Unbelievable. There is NO WAY that the BBC is prepared to let go of its narrative that Obama is going into the White House and and so even when the GOP base is energised by Palin and American women have a real role model for vote for, it is relentlessly downplayed to the point of being almost muted by the rotten biased despicable BBC. (Oh, and don’t forget, Palin has a pregnant unmarried 17 year old daughter)

It proves the lie of Leftist feminism.

They don’t give a damn about women, they want power for the state, they want to destroy tradition and replace it with a Marxist based creed.

Palin gives the lie to Leftist feminism, and they hate her!

Like many people (including some left wingers, I suspect) I took that as a reminder of how courageous she was to go ahead with the pregnancy and not take the abortion route that most women would have opted for.

It is interesting to contrast the Beeb’s view of President Ahmadindehead of Iran with that of Mrs Palin. It seems the Iranian president can have all sorts of lunatic views that the Beeb will lightly skate over as being no concern of ours, but when it comes to Mrs Palin’s views all are called into question, no matter that almost all of her epxressed views are commonly held by British people too.

It clearly isn’t unbiased to dwell too long on the criticisms of one political perosnality (of rather limited importance) whilst largely ignoring the criticisms of another.

What I think the Beeb cant get through their heads is that its actually possible for people to believe one thing (creation) YET not want to force that belief on everyone else.

The BBC is really struggling with this.

The heartbeat comment has become the BBC’s central theme.

And its a theme that personally, I find quite offensive.

@Joel: Your reading of the piece is wrong. The word “despite” is used which then exposes the view of the writer that the birth of a Downs syndrome child would be a negative outcome. The implication is that the writer frowns upon Down’s syndrome children and the parents that give birth to them when disposal of the foetus is perceived by some to be an alternative.

If I was a parent of a down’s syndrome child I would find the paragraph extremely offensive. It is not open to misinterpretation. No doubt the BBC will be changing it later in the day once others have complained.

It’s interesting as well that the BBC makes no effort to educate viewers/listeners in the UK about realities of local executive power in the US. Power is well and truly devolved (to a level unimaginable in the UK), with local mayors and state governors having responsibility for the vast majority of issues that affect people day to day. 95% of taxes are not collected by Washington (as they are by Whitehall) and then redistributed with central government directives.

Palin ran a small town (eliminating deficit and operating in surplius during here tenure), before winning the governor’s race by defeating a long time incumbent and a popular Democrat. She immediately set about putting the State’s financial house in order (including selling the Governor’s private jet on Ebay), and Alaska now has the strongest balance sheet in the country, and she enjoys the highest approval ratings of any Governor in the US. She also took on the oil companies and secured more royalties for the people of Alaska. Few of these points will ever be mentioned by the BBC as they stem from core belief that scares the hell out of the Beeb: reduced government, reduced taxes = greater prosperity for the people. The Beeb would prefer that people here not dwell on these points. And for some reason they don’t mentioned that Obama has never managed anything, and during his time in the Senate never once authored a Bill.

The BBC did not mention the rumours about Sarah Palin’s fifth pregnancy until AFTER the Palins issued a statement about Bristol’s pregnancy.

The Palins issued the statement to quash the rumours that Bristol was the mother of the fifth child which was born in April 2008.

Only then were the rumours reported by the BBC, along with almost all newspapers and broadcasters.

“The Palins issued the statement to quash the rumours that Bristol was the mother of the fifth child which was born in April 2008.”

Err, not quite. It wasn’t “rumours.” It was a deliberate and vicious lie put out by the Democratic Party supporting gutter blog called the Daily Kos, owned by the despicable MarKKKos Moulitas.

That lie was started so that it could be picked up by the leftist supporting MSM, and then reported as a “rumour,” so as to give them out by saying they are merely reporting something that’s “out there.”

    You see how this works?

This is the headline on bbc.co.uk at the moment. Is this really the most important story in the UK at the moment. This blatant and constant pro-Republican bias has to end.

No it probably isn’t and neither was the Democratic convention which held the Front Page News of the BBC website for some 6 or 7 days wihtout interruption. Now that is bias.

I just watched the BBC 1pm news on Palin’s speech and the contrast with the orgasmic knicker-wetting reporting of Obama was blatant.

The presenters seemed quite depressed and very sombre. I wonder if it is sinking in to the BBC “minds” that their Golden Boy might not win after all.

The next two months of BBC reporting should be very entertaining, although maybe not for the intended reasons.

I have given up on the various so-called feminist groups and spokespersons. Their attitude to the position of women in Islamic societies has been so despicable that I am not surprised at their refusal to support Sarah Palin against the clearly sexist attacks. (Definition of sexist: attacks that are aimed at her because she is a woman not because of her ideas or policies.) But I do wonder what has happened to the normally very vocal “spokespeople” for the disabled and the various charities ditto. Why are they not up in arms about the various comments that make it clear as the Beeb one does (sorry, whoever thought otherwise, but it does) that Sarah Palin should have aborted the baby once she found out that it had Down’s Syndrome? Regardless of what one thinks about abortion, once the child is around, that becomes an outrageous suggestion. So where are all these “spokespersons”?

I see the Daily Mail is now running a story about Palin having had an affair.

Is there just no end to this shit? I wonder how long it will be before the twat boys on the BBC pick it up and start smirking that there are “new allegations sweeping the internet”

Nice to see that it all just seems to bounce off Palin though.

I might not agree with all she says, but boy does she look to be one tough politician.

Hillary broke down and blubbered. Palin is more likely to do a victory dance over another downed “good old boy” perhaps like Biden.

I’d like to know who will run the questions on the VP conference.

If it’s some leftoid wanker it will all be about foreign policy. OK Biden might have a bit more knowledge there, but so what, he should have, he’s been on that committe for years.

But get him on energy, drilling, the economy, corruption etc and I bet he’s toast.
