Haha… since my post a year ago Labour has added 62 MORE Quangos and now Burn’em has added another one !
The One Gov Delivery Agency is the latest in a string of bollocks taking democracy away from you and giving it to unelected civil servants 🔥 https://t.co/8zXYnIcCYa
Number 10, Cabinet Office, the Office for the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the OneGov Delivery Agency:
Number 10 North:
To ensure places are at the very heart of government strategy, the Prime Minister has established No.10 North as the engine room of devolution and good growth in every postcode, across government and the wider economy.
This will include transfers of a number of strategic functions into No.10 North, including moving:
Local economic growth and devolution strategy from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)
Local economic growth policy from HM Treasury.
These changes will ensure that local economic growth policy and regional empowerment are no longer isolated from one another, establishing this No.10 North as the dominant driver of the UK’s economy.
And now we pay the price for w*nker Starmer and his far-Left desperate attempts to appease Muslims.
I had a lengthy chat with AI about why us and the EU refused to help to stop Iran getting a viable nuclear weapon and it gave me all the ‘official’ reasons which were basically that the EU/UN believed the issue was best dealt with by negotiation because even though they realised Iran would soon have the Urainium to make the weapons, they still needed other components so there was time for more negotiation’.
It all crumbled when I quizzed it further because if Iran had any intention of negotiating, they would have done it by now. Eventually it conceded the primary driving factor was geo-political issues with Muslims and the fear of civil unrest at home and that all the reasons we read in the news were basically lies.
So here we are. This is where the Left are taking us. They are already well down the road to destroying Western civilisation as we know it. And as I speak, I see there is another assasination attempt on Farage by Channel 4 news.
Make no mistake : we are witnessing another totalitarian control takeover attempt by the Left. Just as they have done many times before. Each time it adapts to the modern world so the label of previous events doesn’t apply (such as the Nazis) but the ideology driving it is exactly the same. Everybody must conform to THEIR ideology or suffer the consequences of their hatred and intolerance.
I really do wonder what happens when the Muslims are no longer useful and become a problem. Hitler saw the threat and dealt with it in the ‘night of the long knives’ but these idiots are creating the means of their own destruction. They are in for an enormous shock when they realise what they have done.
I wonder if the enemy in the mod will be panicking this morning with the defence Secretary – Wes streeting ? I mean – really – ?
Having to fly to the falklands to lie to the Falkland islanders claiming burnham will defend them …. Meanwhile …. Let’s give everything to Ukraine …… yeah
There was a debate about immigration on GBNews last night. It’s remarkable how the loony Lefties keep arguing ‘Diversity is our strength’, it’s not a problem that British people are foreigners in parts of our Cities. Apparently it’s racist to mention that.
Anyway ultra Leftie John McTernan came up with the best argument for stopping immigration “Look at me, my family migrated here from Ireland………..”
Having years ago given up on any notion of hearing real investigative journalism speaking truth to actual power.
Nowadays, one is stuck instead in a form of perpetual all-year-round silly season – And so it is when needs must your Mr AsI makes do with the well-crafted punning headline, those innovative dictionary-stretching new media coinings, and the odd bizzaro world man-bites-dog style story.
How otherwise is one to flex a fast withering conservative muscle of a morning?
The utterly relentless wall-to-wall predictability of the regime propaganda to be found in a daily media review tends ultimately to squeeze the fun out of the thing. I guess that’s how come Soviet populations looked so dour and drank so much vodka.
It’s not for nothing that Mr AsI contends Lockdowns demoralised the British workforce.
To borrow the form of Orwell’s familiar dire prediction: “If you want a picture of the media future, imagine The Daily Telegraph telling us ‘Matt is away’—forever.”
Hey-ho… it’s off to work we go…
I’m inevitably reminded of Sir John Mortimer’s classic creation Rumpole of the Bailey and his legendary character’s lugubrious description of an advocate for the defence setting out on his opening address to a jury on behalf of a man standing his trial on a charge of rape.
“Go into court on a rape—it’s like stepping into a refrigerator with the light off. All the men are thinking of their daughters; all the women are sitting with their knees jammed together!”
Farage senior aide filmed suggesting way to avoid donations law… according to undercover filming broadcast by Channel 4. – relishes our BBC online news top headline report.
The junior poundshop Gruan that is the i paper carries the first print inkling of this news our tv licence tax-funded establishment organ is so desperately keen to bring us – so naturally this warrants the top spot in the BBC’s print press line-up.
‘Foreign donations sting’ and ‘Argentina threat to Falklands’ – are the BBC’s top billing press round-up pick of the headlines.
There’s just a tad of equivocation for a Farage-friendly Rumpole for the defence (if you can imagine such a thing) to work with: …allegedly welcoming party donations that may breach rules (i paper)
Not that the Channel 4 Fake Sheikh (or whatever) story is even the top headline in the i paper
The bargain bin (£1.10) arch-feminist youth-oriented outlet is an odd venue for banging the war drum and yet it leads with: Putin growing more reckless as his inner circle shrinks, warn security insiders (i paper)
Let’s just reflect for a moment on the voice of our radical peacenik Green-voting kids quoting a bunch of off-the-record government spooks and former army generals. Just doesn’t add up, does it?
More in keeping and more on-brand is: The face of feminism… Tributes to Gloria Steinem (i paper)
They may not all have been tipped the wink, so speak about the Channel 4 sting – but as John Lennon was wont to promise in Revolution 1: “You ask me for a contribution, Well, you know, We’re doing what we can…”
David Maddox Farage is loved by some but hated by more – now even Reform can see it – virtual online-only Independent
Reform: Back Britain …with Chinese tat… Farage’s No2 slates foreign imports while party flogs them on merch stall – in-the-tank for Labour Daily Mirror with the acceptable face of Chinese xenophobia there.
Just so predictable
Let’s go out on a little quiz: ‘Beautiful, vibrant’ Disney star Carla Jeffery dies at 33 (Ian Youngs, Culture reporter, BBC) – nope, me neither.
But did you guess she’s black? Did you spot the clue… “vibrant” ?
Funny…..BBC forgets to mention this part of Milei’s speech…
‘“Argentina is a country with natural resources, in a position of geographic strategic relevance that is not affected by uncontrolled immigration, the violence this brings, and the problems of national security that today stalk Europe.’
I heard a ;man ‘ explaining why Britain should not defend the Falklands
1 they are a long way away from
2 it’s 44 years since the war
3 the world is different
4 the US might not help us
5 the military is ‘different ‘
6 we might want to not extract the oil for global reasons
It turned out that this was a retired foreign office peer – the type Margaret Thatcher rightly dispised-
1. Braford is not long away and we’ve lost that. No one speaks English.
2. Islam war is ongoing.
3. World is different, people want the same things – cheap energy, safe streets and a future.
4. USA asked Europe to defend itself, to which Europe asked for more help.
5. Military is different – hollowed out and fighting for a lanyard class of cloned Keir Starmers.
6. BBC Radio 4 said oil is taxed at 73% – China pretends to be green but lives off oil
Good news. The wind is blowing hard in the Channel today and for at least the next 7 days. I would be surprised if any rubber boats will be launched and cross. No doubt Labour will try to claim it’s their actions that will have stopped the boats.

BBC today presenter ‘ ….falklands returning to argentine control ‘… there – the bbc mindset – maybe they’d be happier referring to the islands as ‘the Malvinas ‘….. when I listen – even for a short time – I feel a need to wash my hands of the bbc filth ….
Stop paying the telly tax! Scrap it!
Hit them where it hurts. They have forgotten all the British lives lost there to get it back.
The Argies never owned it . The Argies are bullies!
Defence budget – and used – back in Margaret Thatcher’s days was 5% of GDP.
Once the ‘Cold War’ was bedded down, thanks mainly to President Regan and Mrs Thatcher, we were allowed to breathe a bit more, but the issue was never relaxed under the Conservatives back then.
The rot – like so much else in the failure department – started when Blair and Brown began administering a wrecking ball to the UK.
Bloody socialism – a curse on ordinary decent citizens.

TOADY Watch #1 – the BBC definitely do not like Reform Party or Nigel Farage, its leader
I made the mistake(?) of listening to Rick Nobinson’s interrogation of Richard Tice, Nigel Farage’s deputy leader. Nick did not let Richard Tice get a word in edgeways! The BBC makes it abundantly clear, that along with the rest of the MSM, it does not like the Reform Party or its leader Nigel Farage.
Up2 – I force. Myself f to listen to it – I suppose the only reason Reforn engages with the bbc is to avoid being accused of ‘not having anyone to put up ‘…
Anyway – it was stupid getting fitted by channel 4 – it looks like Reforn still haven’t got people of the calibre necessary to combat the Far Left ….
“The Walthamstow MP added that there was a “need to act now to protect the next general election”. Her proposals would have exempted trade unions from the donation cap, with the MP saying this is “already well regulated” and “clean money”.” BBC “exempted trade unions”

They are making the UK such a shithole that nobody will want to invade it.
Everywhere you look everything is going wrong, is underfunded and deep in debt.
The population is divided and living in ghettos, just look at London where they all have their own areas.
The north is lost, just think Bradford, Rotherham, Birmingham and all the other places either taken over or in the process of being taken over.
All in all, the UK is a basket case.
One thing Labour are failing at with this plan is by not using all the energy opportunities we have such as North Sea oil and fracking.
This may appeal to a sensible Country to come in, use the energy for their own Country and sell the excess of for hundreds of £billions.
I wonder how things will look if the UK still exists as a Country in a few decades. Will it be broken up into many different mini Countries all at war with each other.
The politicians have caused this.
Will they all flee to a ‘safe’ Country (? where) or will they be arrested and locked up for treason in time to perhaps save the UK if we get the right people in to take over from the traitors currently ruining the Country.
The Right must come to an agreement as they are the only possible hope we have of avoiding the end of the UK as we know it. All other scenarios look bleak.
Lets hope in a century or so Farage is made a Saint for saving the UK.
If they’re the only possible hope then there is no hope. The right play by the rules, the left make up rules which they then ignore and lie about everything.
“The epilogue reveals that the story was written in the last holdout of the Western world, Switzerland, but international pressure from the new governments, isolating it as a rogue state for not opening its borders, along with internal pro-migrant elements, force it to capitulate as well. Mere hours from the border opening, the author dedicates the book to his grandchildren, in the hopes they will grow up in a world where they will not be ashamed of him for writing such a book.”
The awful Commissars at the EU intended for the UK to become a satellite state of their own idea of ‘Europe’.
One map they printed once even left Wales off, and of course looked utterly ridiculous! Even the Kinnocks had to get red-faced! (I think their offspring was still at school then).
With the manic stupidity of the Starmer, (who he?) failures, and Binbags making it all worse already, farting about with the Chagos sell-out is the mindset of all these fat-faced politicians in Brussels and Strasburg, and now The Falklands are in the piggy eyes of the Argies, I think that there just has to be an international conspiracy controlling all these suicidal decisions being made by jumped-up civil servants in all countries!

Chinese imports are everywhere these days, cars are all lookalike for the monsters we used to make, sports cars are derided, and runabouts considered cash-cows for lazy councils to pay for their DEI staff and inadequate ‘abilities’. Mini drivers are plagued with potholes too!

The intrusion into property helped make the hearth tax infamous. When it was repealed by William III and Queen Mary in 1689, it was described as “not only a great oppression to the poorer sort, but a badge of slavery upon the whole people, exposing every man’s house to be entered into, and searched at pleasure, by persons unknown to him”.
While its replacement, the window tax, was just as unpopular, the property inspector did not have to physically enter the home. As a result, economist Adam Smith noted that the policy was relatively “inoffensive” – a stark contrast to what he described as the “odious visits” conducted by tax officials on the prowl for hearth money.
Under Labour’s mansion tax – officially named the high value council tax surcharge – those who refuse an inspector entry would be committing a criminal offence, punishable by a fine of up to £200.
According to the Valuation Office, property inspections will be necessary where “attributes can only be confirmed internally or a re-measurement is required”.
Rather than just count fireplaces like petty constables from the 1600s, modern-day inspectors will gather information on the size and architectural style of a house as well as the number of floors, rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Once the data are collected, a value will be attributed to the home. If deemed to be worth more than £2m it will attract an extra levy of between £2,500 and £7,500 a year, which will be paid in addition to council tax and increased each year in line with inflation.
Starting from April 2028, the Government hopes to raise £430m from its new tax.
Charles II’s government hoped to raise £300,000 a year from its fireplace levy, but was left bitterly disappointed: during the course of the tax’s 25-year-long existence, its revenue haul never surpassed £220,000.
The valuers will undoubtedly over value properties on the basis that the value can be appealed and no one would appeal an under value. The same thing happens with rateable values for commercial properties. Council Tax valuations are normally done on a blanket value basis as most dwellings are surrounded by properties that a precedent can be drawn from, ie three bedroom semi. If a Council Tax valuation is appealed then a valuer will expect to enter the inside of a property to check for number of rooms, bathrooms, central heating etc. I have successfully appealed a Council Tax banding. What is interesting is that valuations for valuable, specialised and unique properties are very much a matter of opinion. I’ve seen a very wide range of values put on a property.
I liken the Council Tax to the Hut Tax that was imposed on parts of Africa to force villagers to work for the British Empire.

Strict censorship silenced the truth. Few individuals objected due to fear propaganda generated by Government employed behavioural scientists. Those who did were sacked or imprisoned, with doctors and scientists who challenged the approved narrative being maligned, their reputations trashed, losing their license to practice, as well as having their homes and workplace raided by representatives of the government.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Pennsylvania wants to force the clot jab on the super healthy Amish community, but Steve Kirsch is still asking “Can you name five unvaxxed Amish who died from Covid?”. None died from measles, that was a BBC lie.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Pennsylvania is also attacking Amish milk producing farms, and spraying Amish areas with residential pyrethroid fogging. Pyrethroids have recognised neuroactive mechanisms and the residential application of a neuroactive chemical class in a community that is simultaneously the subject of an intensive pediatric public-health intervention warrants published documentation of the co-exposure analysis, and Pennsylvania has not produced one: https://sayerji.substack.com/p/an-open-letter-to-president-trump
The news of Reforms “money and donations ” problem hit the headlines, quite by coincidence during their conference. Amazing timing.
So rest assured there will be a BBC led MSM frenzied return to the story of the Labour party’s biggest ever but strangely forgotten gift, I speak of the £4 million from Cayman islands based ,Quadrature capital ( mentioned earlier by Tomo) and the curious case of Rachel Kyte, who was appointed to be the Labour Governments Climate envoy , whatever that means. Why and who is she you might ask, how did she get the job? She must be busy enough working on the climate advisory board of guess what…yes , the Quadrature Climate foundation.
The MSM are just waiting to spring this one again at the Labour conference….you bet they are.
Why would they, well one reason would be to have Bridget Phillipson on to ask her about foreign money and bad influences and wrong doing and all those other things she has been going on about today.

Argentina worried that Islam will invade the Falklands?
….
“a prominent first mosque was opened on the neighboring Scottish island of the Isle of Lewis (in Stornoway, Outer Hebrides) in 2018”
I heard a ;man ‘ explaining why Britain should not defend the Falklands
1 they are a long way away from
2 it’s 44 years since the war
3 the world is different
4 the US might not help us
5 the military is ‘different ‘
6 we might want to not extract the oil for global reasons
It turned out that this was a retired foreign office peer – the type Margaret Thatcher rightly dispised-
Looks like burnham will do a chagos …
Fed,
Not forgetting, “the UK is a dying nation”. Which is absolutely accurate.
Every day there’s a story that would have destroyed past governments.
Today; The Army is told to stop training.
What world are we living in?
UK Army to knit white flags in preparation for future wars.
The news is too fast and furious now – Kakistocracy is a system of government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens

Drop all the illegals on Falklands and give them nukes. Islam can prosper next to Argentina! HA HAH AH HAH AHAH AH!
We can rename it Diversity Island!

Their website is just screaming the headlines – all anti-Reform!
You can almost hear the spit and dribble hitting the wall of the studio!
Just scrap the Telly Tax.

The ‘meeja’ really don’t like Reform UK.
Is it because other political parties are afraid of Reform? The party are becoming very popular of late.
Ten year gilt – 5.14% – panic over … or probably not …
I think I’ve sussed labours defence strategy.

Scroblene
“One map they printed once even left Wales off”
Simply, because taffmen voted to come out of the EU.
We Brexited.
Ha ha ha!
I remember Glenys Kinnock trying to explain it all! It was just another farcical situation which the failed EU always did without rhyme or reason!
Actually, I’d forgotten about the four country’s votes being assessed!
Unfortunately Labour, the Lib Dems and of course, the bBC keep reminding everybody with tiresome regularity!

Tax the rich
