UGLY LITTLE THINGS

The ugly little things
The BBC provides us with more evidence of it’s ..ahem….impartial reporting by leading this evening’s coverage of the US election with Obama’s hilarious allegations that his opponents are using “ugly tactics”against him. Surreal. The way in which the BBC has sanitised the relentless smearing by the Democrat attack dogs of anyone who opposes The One shows that in the media land of the one eyed king, the BBC is king.

Nothing must be allowed to prevent Obama from winning the election and giving the BBC the collective orgasm of delight that they have been storing up since the 2000 US Presidential election.

And when the Obama campaign released an ad in Spanish which accused McCain of being anti-Hispanic and linking him to Rush Limbaugh and out-of-context comments he made about immigration, that wasn’t “dirty campaigning”?

When Obama’s campaign has set out to paint those who won’t vote for him as “racist,” when Obama constantly links McCain to Bush in the hope that Bush’s unpopularity will rub off on McCain, that isn’t “dirty”?

When Obama orders his followers to “get in the faces of” and shout at Republicans in the street, when he orders them to shut down radio stations who feature anti-Obama guests, when he threatens his critics with lawsuits, that isn’t “dirty”?

None of which has the BBC reported, of course. End the BBC.

It’s now the main item on the BBC News home page.

What about the “ugly tactics” of persecuting John McCain for not knowing use a computer – when he’s incapable of doing so due to his war wounds? Funny how we didn’t see much coverage of that from the BBC.

I absolutely hate the use of this word, but there really is no other to describe the reporters at the BBC… In fact, the entire organisation in general…

    “Cunts”.

    “I’m literally angry with rage!”

What makes it even worse is the fact that I am forced, under the penalty of prison, to pay their salaries.

Simmer down Tomski. Angry with rage is not good for you.

Read the article; it’s largely factual reporting of what tacks the two candidates are taking. You’ll find plenty of coverage about McCain’s criticism of Obama.

I think Mr Webb’s latest blog gives you more ammo David. He addresses criticisms of bias and links to krauthammer. No link to the CNN coverage of Palinedivagate, which is interesting if true

See here too for an amusing history piece.

Justin Webb has responded to me (aka duhbuh) directly on his blog. He claims the coverage of Palin is nothing to do with media bias but is the fault of the Republicans (and Palin herself). He links to a comment I left on his blog in which I quoted from a Michael S Malone article about media bias. Malone says he’s not concerned so much about the negative attention Palin has received than the fre pass Obama has received from an adulatory press. Webb doesn’t address this at all. Rather amusingly, if you follow Webb’s link to my comment you won’t be able to read it because at the moment it has been “referred to the moderators”.

This is all Webb’s own fault, and he’s egged on by all those screaming Lefty commenters. He deserves to be reprimanded by his bosses. Sadly, he’ll just a get an extra large bonus instead for getting such a negative reaction from people the BBC doesn’t like.
