Free speech, BBC style

For those who consider the BBC arrogant and aloof, Justin Webb has deigned to take on the critics:

To Duhbuh and others who complain about coverage of Sarah Palin, I would say the party must take responsibility for not having the confidence to let her be herself. The interviews have been awful: that’s not media bias, it’s incompetence, hers to an extent but the party’s for letting it happen.

But what did Duhbuh actually say? Unfortunately, right now I can’t tell you. I can tell you, though, that the comment below rightly takes him to task for providing yet another link to the Huffington Post.

So why isnt Webb and co covering this very REAL news story?

So why isnt Webb and co covering this very REAL news story?

Because their fantasyworld-Obama can do whatever he likes, who cares if he has some obnoxious allegiances. All revelations about Obama’s antisemitic mates evaporate like water off a duck’s back.

Barack “spread the wealth” Obama’s own wealth and expenditure are teflon to the velcro of Sara Palin’s wardrobe extravagance.

From the newspaper review on R4’s Broadcasting House, see other Obama non-stick imperfections and myths:
    “Obama is a great orator.”
“What is so refreshing about his campaign is his calmness and great dignity” – “Michelle has stepped into the mantle of the Übermum .. with great seriousness… unlike Sarah Palin who is clattering around like a rabbit in the headlights.”
Antonia Fraser has a poker up her arse and someone occasionally jiggles it.

And Sir Trevor McDonald has declared “In the booth it will come down to Racism or The Economy.”
    Plot Against America.

Tried to complain on Webb’s blog but for some reason could not get in.
Most comments were rabid Democrat anyway so obviously he has erected barrier entries.

Same old story yesterday but with a twist. They are getting worried about the “Bradley” effect so their first action is to try to make this effect a myth, and to state polls are much better now.
Then they do their propoganda on the fact that if their mate Obama does not win it is ONLY due to RACISM -nothing else at all.
Would’nt mind betting something goes wrong with the new polling systems so this will be another of their excuses, unless he wins, then it will not be mentioned.

Of course a $150k wardrobe is far more important than this!

Funny though that the Clintons have left everything mean they said about “The One” ™ on the net 🙂

Hilarious about DB’s comment being blocked – even though Webb refers directly to it.

The unkind criticisms of Obama have centred recently on his close dealings over many years (probably pre-1995) with William Ayers the Marxist urban terrorist.

Regular readers of this site will have known about Ayers for months now.
But a search for “Obama Ayers” gives only 2 glancing mentions on the BBC website. I have never heard or seen Ayers being mentioned by the BBC, including all the many reports by Webb himself, other than a brief but laregly unexplained reference on Panorama. Never a FULL report on who Ayers is and how much Obama has worked with him.

The BBC is deliberately keeping all this from us. Just like they will be keeping very quiet about Obama being pals with a leading supporter of Palestinian terrorism :

Of course Khalid is probably seen as one of the good guys by many BBC people.

    Well, Ive made my first (and possibly last) posting over at Webbs blog (comment number 205;

“number 101, you refer to an incident that the secret service, after investigating, could not prove actually happened.

In fact, the only person who apparently heard the kill him comment was…wait for it…a reporter!

So let me see if Ive got this right, a supposed death threat was made, only heard by one person, yet when investigated by the secret service no one could actually find any other witnesses or evidence to support what the ONE person heard YET the story gets carried by every main stream media outlet as evidence of the anger and hatred from the Right.

There is a very real problem with the way this election has been covered by the MSM, and the BBC has proven through ‘reporters’ like Webb and co that they are just as happy to run non-stories about Palin while at the same time surpressing anything that doesnt fit the narrative that Obama is a man who will bring real change to Washington.

From carrying vicious smears from the Daily Kos about Palins youngest son being her grandson right through to airing unsubstantiated death threats as proof of the rights anger, the BBC has been right there, reporting all of this with glee.

YET, not surprisingly, not a single snippet or real IN DEPTH report on Obama’s links to black racist hate preachers, unrepentant terrorists, links to vicious hate mongers (PLO connections), his lies over his relationship with Ayers (I mean, if it really was nothing, why lie about your ties to the man?), not to mention nothing of any real substance of the Obama campaigns deliberate credit card fraud to raise funds (you have to turn AVS OFF to stop address checking).

Here’s an idea, what makes the BBC think that a man who has spent his entire adult life actively seeking out people like Ayers, Wright, Rezko etc is fit for office YET a woman who has fought her own parties corruption is a risk, a train wreck, a creationist (oh, thats right, the BBC upheld a complaint against Webb about spreading the lie of her being a creationist) etc who isnt fit for office?

The BBC has turned its back on reporting because it appears that is too much effort when you can just run a story about the cost of Palins clothes (while ognoring the $5mil cost of the greek backdrop to Obama’s speech at the Dems convention.

So Webb thinks her interviews have been “awful” does he? Of course it doesn’t occur to him that the interviews he’s thinking of have been “creatively” edited to make her look stupid, and that there is plenty of unscripted footage of her which exists in which she comes across as perfectly intelligent and knowledgeable.

It also doesn’t occur to the arsehole Webb to make a comparison between the ways in which network interviewers have treated Palin compared to the way they treated Obama and Biden. There was a post on Larry Johnson’s noquarterusa.net blog (currently unavailable – server issues) recently in which they compared the questions asked of Palin to questions asked of Biden or Obama on the same network. The result was disgraceful.

The obvious agenda of the Palin interviews was to trip her up and expose gaps in her knowledge and make her look stupid, while they asked Biden and Obama softball questions about their home lives, etc. With Biden and Obama it’s been nothing but friendly chats – with Palin, hostile interrogations.

Any word on whether or not Webb will be allowed to keep his job after this election then? Has anyone started a serious petition to have him sacked?

They will promote him. Maybe even give him his own show.

Webb is getting his own slot.

He is tipped to do something akin to Alastair Cooke’s Letter from America.

That is how sick the BBC has become.

“My BBC colleague Jeff Overs took this rather fine shot outside a political memorabilia shop ”

Yeah I bet he just did. Do these Obama shills think our heads zip up the back?

This BBC waster just happened to come across two idiots fondling Obama’s cut-out whilst tumbleweed drifts by the McCain/Palin cut-outs? Yeah no hint of a set-up there…

You can just tell the ‘Drop the Dead Donkey’ scene with Damian propping the teddy bear up in the war scene was based on BBC methodology.

As regards Biden, I see FoxNews are reporting that after he got asked about Obama’s ‘spreading the wealth’ comments and his ‘Obama being tested by events’ comments he threw a hissy fit and now the Obama camp are boycotting this Florida news channel. They are also smearing (shock) the reporter who asked such tough questions. Wonder what would have happened had she mentioned Rezko/Ayers/Wright/etc.?

Wonder if the BBC will be reporting this?

Speaking to friends in Central Europe and most of the older ones mentioned they learnt English from Alistair Cooke during the Soviet regime, and have nothing but admiration for him.
Webb has been touted for the replacement job for a year now and it will be a travesty if he or any of his hanger on friend gets it.

You and I both know that scum rises to the top of the pond, hence why Webb will get the job.

As long as Al Beeb is run by lefty moonbats, unhinged reporters like Webb will be rewarded with sweet postings.

At long last the bomb proof shelter or bubble that is bbc has been breached.
Today on radio 4 at long last the status of the TV tax is not only mentioned but openly questioned.
As normal the bbc come up with the usual suspects to support their cause, usually old bbc hacks and management.
Only the word bias is seriously missing, and it is a sad state of our politicians that the Tory party does not begin this process, as in the past few days they have had many chances and chickened out.
This cowardice by all parties on the matter of the bbc is not good for the future of our country.
