Is it just me … ?

Imagine it’s December 2000, and that Texas Republicans stand accused of auctioning off newly elected President George Bush’s recently-vacated governorship to the highest bidder. I can’t help thinking that would be the number one BBC news story for days if not weeks. There’s no way it would be squeezed out of the headlines by more euthanasia plugs or the government’s latest series of welfare reforms.

Of course, during the campaign, BBC correspondents would have shone a spotlight on the institutionalised corruption of the Republican heartland, with its long and dishonourable history. How exactly, they would ask, did George W Bush rise to the top of the most corrupt political machine in the United States ?

Wouldn’t they ?

Well that is a bit of a stretch, since the lt. governor just takes over, as far as I’m aware.

    LA Times:
The corruption charges against Blagojevich come as one of the most powerful Democrats in Congress, Rep. Charles B. Rangel of New York, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, is under investigation by a House ethics panel.
The panel is looking at Rangel’s occupation of several rent-controlled apartments in Manhattan, whether he failed to pay taxes on an offshore rental property and other questions. On Tuesday, it announced that the investigation was expanding to include allegations that Rangel supported a tax break for an oil drilling company in exchange for a donation to a school that would bear his name.
Democratic Rep. William J. Jefferson of Louisiana is awaiting trial on charges of bribery, money laundering and misusing his congressional office. He has pleaded not guilty. On Saturday, Jefferson was ousted from his House seat in a runoff election.
Earlier this year, Democratic Gov. Eliot Spitzer of New York resigned after revelations that he was a regular customer of an elite call-girl ring.

The LA Times article could have also mentioned Tim Mahoney:

If all these recent scandals had involved Republicans the BBC would be shouting about a party mired in sleaze. Instead, as it’s Democrats we’re talking about, Justin Webb claims the “real scandal” is the system. (Even his examples of families with connections • Clintons, Bushes and Doles • is 2:1 Republican to Democrat; what about the Cuomos, Jacksons, Bidens and of course the Kennedys [fancy forgetting them Mr Webb] • all Democrats with kids currently hoping to be granted safe political seats.)

Obama will get a free pass for a while. Iraq, Afghanistan, climate change will suddenly become complex and intractable problems rather than the fault of a Bush/Cheney/NeoCon conspiracy. Then Obama either transforms into a Mandela-like figure who can do no wrong or a Blair, hated by the intelligentsia who once egged him on when he makes calls they don’t like. Good luck to him – it’s tough to be the Wizard of Oz.

That list of recent Democrat scandals should also include Kwame Kilpatrick and John Edwards (Justin Webb: “I am loath to get involved with the Edwards business”). Oh, and Rezko of course.

    Well observed

What the BBC will NOT do under any circumstances is tell the people that the original Neo-Cons are the DEMOCRAT party.

Also that Obama is a 9th cousin of George Bush and Dick Cheney and so is also directly related to The Queen of England. Also that EXACTLY the same people control Obama and his party as they now do The Republican Party, and just about everything else that go’s on in the world.

It go’s without saying that the self same people also control The British Labour, Conservative Parties, even more so the Lib/Dem and Green Parties, and all of the worlds central Banks.

While also ultimately controlling one way or another, every single large national or multi-national, private or public corporation on the planet, BAR absolutely none whatsoever.

This is the BIG LIE, that the BBC and the MSM will not and can not ever tell the public. Which is such a big lie, that it makes virtually everything that comes from the ESTABLISHMENTS MSM highly manipulative and therefore dangerously misleading nonsense.

The media and especially the BBC, is like a horny looking, rich, oversexed women, who genuinely loves you, wants to have your babies, and can also cook better then your mother.

Who just happened not to mention the fact that she had in the past viciously murdered everyone of her past 10 husbands, and joyously eaten all of her own children.

they do at least mention that he’s a Democrat. But you have to get as far as the ninth paragraph to find that out.

In fact glancing at Newsniffer, I see that the fact that he was a Democrat didn’t get revealed until Version 3 (after after three edits and three hours after the BBC’s first report.)

You need to apply in writing to Noel Edmonds. He’s the sinister power behind it all. A family tree demonstrating that you are within 15 cousins of the queen is also required but fortunately that includes 99% of the country anyway.

You want an expose, look into the links between the banks owned by Amrish Mahajan (Mutual Bank) and the Giannoulias family (Broadway Bank) and all the state business and real estate deals (including Obama’s) and that ran through those banks. Alexi Giannoulias is the Illinois State Treasurer, who, you might recall, came out of nowhere when he was endorsed by Obama…
Basically, the only way to make it big in Chicago politics is to pay to play, and this is an environment in which Obama not only existed but thrived.

There is a room with with no way in guarded by gate keepers you cannot see watched over by guardians you will never meet, a world within a world so sealed off from mere mortals that you would find it easier to visit the home of the Gods AND return.

We the common insects are looked on as a form of dirty bacteria by those who wish to rule us as the Athenian Gods did in another time, they are winning!
