I note (following George R’s post) that the BBC has buried this year’s tally of car burnings in Paris on New Years Eve, (the worst yet).

Could the silence be due to the religious persuasion of the vandals, chaps?

The Ancien Regime of the BBC
So Jenny Abramsky, BBC retired, has been made a dame.
This ex BBC executive is forced to live, I repeat live on a measly pension of 190,000 a year. Now her dameship will give her a fast track to quango heaven.
This is how BBC chiefs reward themselves with our money extorted with menaces from us
Her pension is more than the PM’s salary.
It is vastly more than the average wage let alone the state pension.
There comes a time when such greed and contempt for the people arouses only anger and revulsion. The BBC is at that point. It can no longer be reformed. It harms us and our nation and must be destroyed.
It poses as the friend of the oppressed and the powerless. it is none of these things.

The vile Victoria Derbyshire had a brief interview with the Lib Dem’s Ed Davey about Gaza. The only questions she asked were about what Israel should do /what the world community should do about Israel. The concept that Hamas might even just share in the blame seemed alien to her.

Then she had a caller who said he had worked in Israel and so was not biased; from the fact that he had worked quite a lot in Gaza as well, I am guessing he was not entirely unbiased and this he proved with his attacks on Israel’s indiscriminate dropping of 1 ton bombs on Gaza. Fortunately mt radio’s batteries ran out at this pojnt saving me the bother of switching VD off.

BBC Bloom? I though the BBC had to ask permission from the BBC Trust before spending licence payer money on “Save the Planet” style political campaigning?

The YABmonster has really done it this time.

Her fan club is seriously shrinking.

    Look at the first comment:

I am from the white working class, married to an Indian immigrant and we have a mixed race child. I have a vested interest in a racially peaceful future for this country, but I have had a bucketful of your obnoxious opinions, madam.
