HAMAS GOOD, HEZBOLLAH BETTER!

I was reading Abu Bowen’s latest insight into the Gaza conflict and I was struck by his admiration for Hezbollah. I’ve added a few comments of my own into his commentary As he puts it “Hamas fighters, (Aka Islamic terrorists…DV) who know Gaza better than the Israeli troops, have a belief in resistance and martyrdom. (Terrorism and homocide bombing…DV) Their objective will be to give the Israeli army the same humiliation (Humiliation, mmm, interesting unbiased choice of word..DV) that Hezbollah inflicted during 2006. For all their bravado, (Hiding behind women’s skirts..DV) Hamas are unlikely to be as formidable as Hezbollah. (Less Iranian munitions..DV? The rocky, hilly terrain of south Lebanon was not good for Israel’s armour. Gaza, on the other hand, is flat and sandy.” Goodness, if it weren’t for the terrain….

I’ve no objection to biased BBC reporting about Hamas or anything else. I am able to pick and choose news sources that I consider reliable and unbiased and that’s why I don’t use BBC news.

I do object to being forced to pay for the BBC’s dodgy down market news just because I want to watch football on Sky TV without getting a fine and a criminal record.

What a horrible thing to say on this the Christian holyday.

Seeing as we are all supposed to be Christians here wouldn’t it be a lot better if the Mr Bowen was giving a TV interview from Gaza and we all heard the words “Allah Ackba”

    (Think about it)

And does anyone else find the slideshow of Gaza pics on the News front page slightly heavy on ‘tank fades to screaming child’?

I am unsure if this is only happening in the Netherlands, our Government have come out and supported Israel, and the general opinion of Dutch citizens is that Israel was wronged and is defending it’s citizens.

If I watch our version of the BBC it seems we also have our version of Mr Bowen, however, our Mr Bowen seems to be stoned whenever he appears on TV, his reports on the conflict are as one sided as Mr Bowen’s.

Could I also add that 99% of the Muslims in the Netherlands are fully assimilated into Dutch society, why is it that the UK has such problems?, after all the Netherlands has a higher proportion of Muslims than the UK.

I’ve been driven to watching Fox News lately as I don’t feel like hurling things at the TV/Radio as with most other stations. For example, today the noon bulletin on BBC Radio London included a quote from Gordon Brown – to the effect that Israel should immediately stop its Gaza op (leaving out the part about Hamas stopping rocket fire) & a long quote from some UN palestinian ranting on – & that was it. Nothing – not one iota – from the Israeli viewpoint. Balance/impartiality has gone completely out of the window.

Well, sorry, their bias is NOT fine by me. It is ILLEGAL. They are the state broadcaster, and these antisemitic scum are in breach of their charter.

Does the tosser Bowen have ANY military experience? Israeli tanks made mincemeat of the Syrians in the Golan Heights in 1967.

What smug nonsense. Some of us are Jews, some of us are atheists.

I hope Bowen gets slotted, yes, but as far as I am concerned I don’t give a fig whether he steps on an Islamo-Nazi rocket or gets hit by an Israeli F16.

Holland happens to be one of the most civilised countries in the world.
I believe the Czechs are broadly supportive of Israel – they too are a highly civilised country. I have always admired their book-learning and humility and patience.

Great Britain is ‘led’ by a bunch of self-serving, greedy gangsters, who have done nothing since 1997 but destroy the country for personal gain and self-aggrandizement. That’s the reason for our problems. That, and the dumb electorate who falls for the snake-oil salesmen’s lies. Once is unfortunate. Twice is stupid. Three times is the mark of illiterate losers.

Just watched an interview with Nick Clegg who insists that the violence must end immediately. “THIS IS NOT THE WAY! The problem cannot be resolved militarily! blah blah blah.”
At the end he throws in as an afterthought, “of course Hamas must stop the rockets too.”
They must think stopping the rockets is as easy as pie, just a matter of a heartfelt plea from Annie Lennox, or perhaps if we ask them again, but more nicely. Gordo said something very similar. It has eluded all these great intellects that this defiance by Hamas, this intransigence by Hamas, is the very reason for this particular Israeli offensive.
And not only that. It has escaped them too, that in the long term both Hamas and Fatah are committed to destroying, obliterating or subsuming Israel. How stupid can they be? How stupid can we be for letting them get away with it. And voting for any of them.

I agree with you. I have always said that objecting to paying the telly tax is well and good, but my main objection to the BBC’s bias is that its output still holds sway with the general public. So what it is doing does amount to incitement, and aiding and abetting terrorists.

The headlines should have been “Thousands march in support of Islamic extremism”

Well done BBC; you have marshalled millions just like Nazi Germany did in the thirties. If your campaign against western values succeeds, you will have helped destroy the freedom you took for granted.

So I strongly object to the BBC bias, not just the compulsory telly tax.

Clegg is a 7th-rate nonentity, about as useful as a cardboard bucket (or David Millipede or the One-Eyed Jock). But yes, the blame lies squarely on those who vote idiots, lunatics and gangsters into office, as the airhead voters of this country have been doing since 1997.

That’s sort of funny in a hideous perversion of the truth.

As a MATTER OF FACT is was precisely the 1930s equivalent of this so-called anti-war moron who allowed Hitler to rearm and start WW2.

It was the BBC which wouldn’t allow Churchill on its airwaves to warn the British people about appeasing the Nazis.

Far from NOT allowing Hitler into power, it was the same dreary nonsense implemeted by the 1930’s doppleganger of this “wanker” that led DIRECTLY to the biggest mass murder and slaughter in history.

These morons have no knowledge — and even less shame.

And don’t even get me started on Stalin and the commie swine.

Deep down the shrill BBC are frightened as to what the long term outcome of this might be.

In the same way that Iraq has not become the outright disaster the BBC secretly hoped for, getting rid of Hamas and staying on top of them may lead to beneficial outcomes for the peace-loving Palestinians, who are in the majority.

I look forward to the BBC having to report such outcomes while holding their noses and gritting their teeth.

Nobody ever gave me a bomb shelter either. In Israel, you simply cannot get a building permit unless you include in the plan a bomb shelter at your own expense. Contractors can’t sell a flat unless it has a bomb shelter approved by the Home Command, and of course the buyer pays for it.
During the Lebanon war, some Israeli Arabs complained that, unlike the Jews, they don’t have bomb shelters. What they forgot to mention is that this is because they skip building permits, and if they consequently get a demolition order then they call in the BBC !

If you think the BBC is bad – and it is – I heard a “reporter” on the C4 evening news say that Israel had “selected, targeted and killed two children.” I was astonished.

The newsreader did subsequently interview an Israeli defence / security minister who did not know any details about this alleged incident but mentioned the possibility of a tragic mistake. I am still astonished at the blatant wording of the “report”, though.

This is from another UK publicly owned broadcaster which is touting for public funding and which some say should get a slice of the infamous licence fee.

This trashy station should not get a penny of public money and rather than the telly tax being spread among propagandist organisations, it should be cut to ribbons, as should both the BBC and C4.
