HAMAS GOOD, HEZBOLLAH BETTER!

I was reading Abu Bowen’s latest insight into the Gaza conflict and I was struck by his admiration for Hezbollah. I’ve added a few comments of my own into his commentary As he puts it “Hamas fighters, (Aka Islamic terrorists…DV) who know Gaza better than the Israeli troops, have a belief in resistance and martyrdom. (Terrorism and homocide bombing…DV) Their objective will be to give the Israeli army the same humiliation (Humiliation, mmm, interesting unbiased choice of word..DV) that Hezbollah inflicted during 2006. For all their bravado, (Hiding behind women’s skirts..DV) Hamas are unlikely to be as formidable as Hezbollah. (Less Iranian munitions..DV? The rocky, hilly terrain of south Lebanon was not good for Israel’s armour. Gaza, on the other hand, is flat and sandy.” Goodness, if it weren’t for the terrain….

Hear hear. To hell with them both in these inflationary times. Let them sink or swim in the free market.

    Nearly Oxfordian,

I was pleased to see you comment having noticed your absence for a bit but please, do me a favour, and use your wit and insight to expose the BBC, not to have a go at fellow B-BBC’ers. Thanks.

If you think the BBC is bad – and it is – I heard a “reporter” on the C4 evening news say that Israel had “selected, targeted and killed two children.” I was astonished.

Well, I am not astonished. This is Holocaust terminology deliberately chosen by the anti-Israel propagandists for two purposes: to obscure the well-known fact that the Jihadis are the ones targetting civilians including children, and to blame the Jews with hindsight for their own Holocaust.

    Very diplomatically put, DV!!!

I, however, feel my heart sink when I come across the Prince of Pomposity’s prattlings.

Hamas have a belief in resistance and martyrdom ❓

Doesn’t stop them whining about the disproportionate number of casualties. Still understanding cause and effect doesn’t seem to be a Palestinian characteristic or one of Jeremy Bowen’s.

Nearly Ox is unpredictable and can turn on you at the drop of a hat. A rottweiler if you like. I won’t tease him any more.

His last retaliatory onslaught was disproportionate and caused a mild humanitarian crisis.

But I’ll forgive him if you will.

i think you portray too much of a rosy picture.

how come one of your socialist MPs called for an intifada against Israel during a pro-Hamas demonstration?

How come Geert Wilders has to have 24×7 police protection?

Not to mention Ayaan Hirsi Ali – who has ended up in America and who also needed 24×7 police protection from Dutch Jihadists?

    Sue,

I want us all to focus on the source of lies and annoyance, the BBC! That’s where we launch our rockets at, not each other!

Right, we just need to root out the hamas sympathisers among “us”.

Oh I agree. But most Hamas sympathisers are on our screens at the moment pretending to be reporters.

News24 had an Oxfam guy on saying Israel targeted one of their ambulances, they lost their man.

Sky news say Israel admits hitting an ambulance but it was a misfire.

    Who’s right?

  13. David Vance says:

Wonder if it was one of those ambulances that double as transport for Jihadists?

Was he a “hospital administrator” or

“Security officials said Sharon and his military chiefs learned early Saturday that Hamas leaders, including Yassin, his top aide Ismail Hanieh and chief bombmakers Mohammed Deif and Adnan al-Ghoul would meet at the apartment of a Hamas activist, Dr. Marwan Abu Ras, later in the day.”

Nonsense. You know perfectly well who had a go at me first: Sue, Jack Bauer, Chuffer and other assorted wastes of oxygen. Or perhaps you need a crash course in reading comprehension.

Thanks for your welcoming words, though.

Sue: as I said, fuck off. I don’t need your patronising, self-important ‘forgiveness’. You are the one who had a go at me first.

As to the moronic Chuffer … look in the mirror to see real disgusting pomposity.
