I see the BBC has been shilling for the UN following that organisations petulant display that the Unwra will not re-commence its allegedly humanitarian mission in Gaza until Israel guarantess the safety of its workers. Suits me if they never recommence but I wonder why the BBC never asks why the Unwra does not idenify Hamas as a threat to its workers. Maybe they are related? Also, anyone catch Newsnight defining the Red Cross as ” a very conservative organisation” as it launches a verbal onslaught on Israel. Meanwhile Alan Johnston was afforded space to let us know how invincible Hamas is. Loved the way he talked of the Hamas culture of “sacrifice and martyrdom” – that’s homicide bombing to you and me. Nice stuff, Al Beeb – Hamas could not wish for a better PR campaign.

Mass Hamas defections…
How strange, the BBC keep telling us how the ops in Gaza are unifying Palestinians. Of course they didn’t cover the demos yesterday in the West Bank in which Fatah and Hezbollah beat several shades of shit out of each other.
Just like how the BBC seems to be alone among all the MSM in telling us that Israeli support for the war on Hamas is waning, and will weaken even more as Israeli dead mount.
Strange, because Aljazeera interviewed people in Haifa yesterday who unanimously supported the action and said it shouldn’t stop until the job’s done. Aljazeera also spoke of a poll which indicated that Operation Cast Lead is supported by a whopping 91% of Israelis.
I find I’m watching AlJazeera more and more instead of BBC Weird News or even Sky News (except for it’s live coverage of today’s riots in Kensington). I know AlJazeera is biased and I expect it to be so, but it gives more coverage of Gaza and has a wider range of guests who by and large are allowed to speak their piece.
It’s also “nice” to see so many familiar faces from the BBC. š

Oh give it a rest David. We have enough of the overbearing, all-spying nanny state in this country without the police expecting to take some random, nut-job posting on the B-BBC forum seriously.
Oh, you’re no fun anymore.
