SHOE THROWERS OF THE WORLD UNITE

Just catching up with the news and I see that Rent-a-Mob have been out polluting the streets of our major cities, cheering on Hamas. Curious how the BBC has chosen to contradict police estimates of the numbers of protesters present in London (BBC say 50,000 but the Police say 12,000, go figure!) and then uses such weasel expressionsas “given the numbers of people the protest was peaceful.” Hope the injured policemen realise that! I also notice the BBC ends it report with the statement that “Health officials in Gaza say more than 800 Palestinians have died. Israel says 13 Israelis have been killed.” No Hamas terrorists killed so far , then? Not even one, apparently.

    Battersea,

I think that many people implicitly trust the BBC News and are immensely influenced by what it puts out. We don’t have an alternative outlet with anything like the reach and influence of a BBC or a mainstream broadcaster. A blog does what it can but they are not remotely comparable in influencing what most people believe about what is happening.

The counterdemo this morning was a model of peaceful protest and has been distorted and played down dramatiacally by al Beeb, who estimated attendance at 4000.

Utter nonsense. I’m no expert in crowd dynamics or estimating, but there were many, many more than that present – Trafalgar Square was totally packed.

I’d say the majority there were British Jews – but the wonderful, uplifting surprise of the morning was the number of non-Jewish Brits (like me) and foreigners that turned up to show solidarity with them. There were also a healthy contingent of Christians and some Hindus too.

There were a couple of hundred at most from the ‘other side’ there – restricted by Police to the North side of the Square, outside Canada House. A few keffiyeh wearing Alahu Akbar merchants showed up too, who appeared to be being directed by an American (I’m going to try and have him identified later today).

There was also a contingent of what I call ‘GuiltyJews™’ on this side – waving placards reading ‘Talk to Hamas’ (might as well have read ‘Talk to my Ass’), and other such nonsense. I’m surprised that they had the strength to hold their boards up with all the pain from the self-flagellation and the unbearable weight of the guilt they were carrying.

An the extreme of this, there was a small contingent from Naturei Karta there – but I suppose you can always count on a visit from Haredim for Allah at events like these.

All in all a great morning with a positive atmosphere that re-energised me and actually made me proud to be British again – it was heartening to see the Jews standing up for themselves – and to see Brits standing with them. A chink of light may be shining through at last, in that at least some British people are seeing through the media Pro-Pallywood spin. I’d also like to add that the Police and the CST appeared to be cooperating extremely well with each other to ensure crowd safety. The atmosphere was good.

    Photos here.

    Well done Philip!

It should be noted that there were no placards calling for death to all gentiles, nobody screaming “death to Palestinians!”, no burning of anybody’s flag, no attacks on the police or local shops. No cries for vengeance. No threats.

I did think the placards in Hebrew were a bit of a waste of time, but good luck to them too.

Who was responsible for the “kosher to boycott” nonsense?

Interesting to see the mutation of “UK Jews demand Israeli ceasefire” into something else. To be fair, which is more than one can say for the BBC most of the time, the original headline was a version that led on the letter published in the Observer.

It seems this lot – the ‘Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, are behind it.

Don’t know much about it myself, but a quick Google reveals it was founded in 1982. Links to it read like a Who’s Who of the Great Unwashed, and it seems a lot of Unions are involved too.

More Branches that Barcalays too by the looks of it. -they seem to be everywhere.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was getting Saudi/Muslim Broterhood money, either.

Quote from London Evening Standard website about the Islamonazi goons:

Meanwhile, Residents in Kensington called for protests to be moved to a more suitable location. The chairman of a local residents’ association said life had become a “nightmare” since demonstrations began two weeks ago.

Author John Cookson, who represents Old Court House Residents’ Association, said: “We are sealed in our homes every night as our street is closed. Businesses like shops and restaurants – already on their knees – are laying off staff. All this is going ahead with police permission.

“And the biggest kick in the teeth is that we are picking up the bill in our council tax. We have appealed to the Metropolitan Police to switch the protests to Hyde Park but no one is listening to us.

“You have to have police permission to have a demonstration if there are more than a certain number of people, and it is unbelievable that permission keeps being given.

“I represent 44 families in this residents’ association, and their lives are being made a misery, along with all the other people who live in this area.”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, what happened to ‘exile’?

Even if these people do have UK passports, why don’t we send them into exile? Persona Non Grata.

If other countries are unwilling to take them in, exile the fuckers in South Georgia. Let them set up a little Islamic Wonderland down there. Surely they’d prefer that to living in the ‘corrupt’ and ‘decadent’ UK?

Seriously, why do we put up with this shit?

    David/Natalie/Ed,

For a while I’ve wondered why this blog doesn’t have any adverts. Would it be possible to speak to Guido (he’s always bragging about how much money his blog makes) and get some tips on generating revenue. The cash could be used to create a ‘fighting fund’ for this type of thing.

There is a lot of money to be made via ‘click through’ advertising.

Obviously, it is your blog, so feel free to ignore me.

    Grimer,

Thanks for that suggestion. Anything that can help us raise funds is a good thing in my book.
